Having started racing only recently at age 68 I was driving open wheel cars so have only just recently tried ACC . It’s better than I ever thought it could be. I prefer it on my PC and really like the audible warnings of cars near etc. also the multiplayer is free on PC . Still a newbie but really enjoying the sim racing experience. Best wishes Brian.

There is excellent league racing in the console world, very competitive stuff
If this is on PS5 you have to remember that ACC is on Playstation Plus Extra so there'll be a lot of players on controller.

That's why I took so many time to play offline to raise my SF to above 70 or even 80 and only joining retrected servers with minimum 70 SF

Exactly the same as the pc
I actually have this on PC and PS5. I was testing both to see the difference. Here’s what I found:
Graphics - better on PC. Lighting just looks better, a lot higher texture on all elements. Its still good on PS5 but it’s a downgraded experience.
FFB - easily more detailed on PC. I was shocked. Still good on PS5 but there’s quite a bit missing from the PC version.
Everything else is equal.
and ffb in this game on pc is bad so I can't imagine how bad it is on console lmao
I had it on ps4 but it was unplayable with 40 fps so even didn't tested it at all and now I'm pc guy so have no comparison
you're forgetting the biggest difference which is pc having way more people and higher competition
@@koadromo but that's because there wasn't real shot at simracing on consoles so hardcore simracers naturally are PC gamers - subpar releases of the titles not helping with it still but to me that's dumb because at the end console market is couple times larger so a lot of these titles would benefit from proper releases and especially crossplay
@@georgesummer536 consoles are shit for sims cuz a console is basically a heavily restricted pc in a pure technological meaning. Thats why you dont get real simracing, milsim and flightsim titles on console. Sory but if you bought console, you cant expect it to be as universal as pc and you cant complain about all those restrictions. You should have known that before deciding to buy console.

In the pit menu, tyres swap are normally selected. Anything over 30seconds is the amount of famage

I’m playing on. Xbox using a CSL DD an can’t seem to eliminate the steering being dead on centre and really flat feeling like there’s no turn in. Enough that iv stopped playing and gone back to Pc2. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yes, normally you should get an free Xbox Series X Upgrade. After this Upgrade it’s quietly not difference with PC. I also play this on Xbox

I play on ps4 on controller because unfortunately I can't justify spending that kind of money on a pedal and wheel setup. Really wish I could afford it tho! Just not in the cards for me at the moment. Pretty cool racing game tho

When I first brought this on PS5, I find the game uncontrollable for me. I keep getting into last place during career right at the beginning. I have no issues on GT Sport & GT7, but they’re not the same style gameplay as ACC.

I‘m playing this Game on Xbox Series X with the next Gen Version and it runs so smooth and there is quietly no difference to PC. I just can recommend it 💯💯

excluding gt7. all other console "sims" are a joke compared to pc.
GT 7 is also simcade, not an actual sim. All games "written for gamepad at first place" has to have modified physics cuz its the only way to make game somewhat usable with gamepad. Sory dude but do not expect proper physics from console games.
But ACC on console is good compared to pc.
GT7 isn't a sim, it's a simcade just like Forza, always has been.
ACC is still going to remain the best sim on consoles for a while.

For me GT 7 it's a simulator, there's many levels to a SIM, ones more hardcore than others, but that doesn't make GT 7 a simcade.
