    Homemade Peanut Butter Recipe
    Ingredients:
    2 cups dry roasted peanuts (unsalted)
    1-2 tablespoons peanut oil (or any neutral oil)
    1/2 teaspoon salt (optional, adjust to taste)
    1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
    Instructions:
    Roast the Peanuts (Optional):
    If your peanuts are not already roasted, you can roast them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes. Allow them to cool before proceeding.
    Blend the Peanuts:
    Place the roasted peanuts in a food processor or high-powered blender. You can also use a food chopper.
    Blend on high speed, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides. The peanuts will go through stages: chopped, crushed, and finally, they will start to form a paste.
    Add Oil:
    Add one tablespoon of peanut oil (or any neutral oil like vegetable oil) to the blender. This helps in making the peanut butter smoother. You can add more oil if needed.
    Continue Blending:
    Keep blending until you achieve your desired consistency. This may take 5-10 minutes depending on your blender or food processor.
    Add Salt and Sweetener (Optional):
    Taste the peanut butter and add salt if desired. If you prefer sweetened peanut butter, add honey or maple syrup. Start with one tablespoon and adjust to your taste.
    Store:
    Transfer the homemade peanut butter to a clean, airtight jar. It can be stored at room temperature for a week or two, or you can refrigerate it for a longer shelf life.
