    I bought the Haynes E- manual for this job for my 09 chev 2500HD and let me say that your video blew it away. I wish you'd make more repair videos. You went step by step, you were clear and concise. I used to help my dad fix his vehicles when I was a kid but I have no talent for it at all. Your video was a great help. Thanks!

    You should teach mechanics, that was the best explanation of a job any job I have seen on Utube.Thanks.

    This video is AWESOME!
    I am a pretty handy guy but never really got into auto mechanics. But, I had a horrible roar in the front left side of my 2006 GMC HD2500 4x4 truck. I eliminated the tires being the problem and narrowed the sound to the hub bearings. As I was looking to find a service video I came across this one.
    The video goes step by step with little tips and support notes as the process is completed. I watched the video all the way through, made sure I had access to all the tools (This is a must! If you don't have the right tools don't do this but if you watch the video everything is laid out for you), and completed the process like I knew what I was doing and saved a bunch of money.
    ** the only issue I had was with the 15mm socket for the hub attachment. It needs to be a 15mm 6 pt socket not a 15mm 12 pt socket. My first 15mm socket broke and I grabbed another 15mm socket the kept slipping off.(12 pt).
    Thanks for this great video! My life is now quieter and the process was easy.

    I used your video today and replaced the wheel bearing/hub assy. I got it all back together and now I have the ABS light on continuously. What did I do wrong? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    • @Naturalgearhead
      @Naturalgearhead  Před 8 lety

      I've never had this problem, but if you never had it before, it could be that the hub you put on has a problem. Did you get a light in the cab? Did you check the code for it? It should direct you to the culprit. I've heard about people heaving a bad sensor in their newly installed hubs. Check the code if you got one and go from there.

      Also check for corrosion on your connecting plug, hope this helps.

      +Ratrodforthisguy Thank you for your reply. Yes light is on dashboard console. I never had before. I will have diag ran on it tomorrow morn. After researching a bit. I'm to believe that it could be dirty sensor or corrosion at connection. I really do appreciate you and your assistance. That video was spot on. Thank you Sir!! I with memeandme73, I wish you had some more repair videos.

    One of the best videos I have seen man. Thank you for making it. Saves us newbies some hard earned money. Quick question. I was wondering what size air compressor you have? I just bought a 8gal 4 cfm @90 psi kobalt and don't know it it will power a good set of air tools. What do you recommend?

    • @Naturalgearhead
      @Naturalgearhead  Před 9 lety

      Kobalt 60 gallon, 155psi. 13.4scfm at 40psi, it works awesome for air tools, but I ran a 26 gallon for years, it didn't keep up very good and had to rebuild it about 3 times.

    Oh and is it the same hub on both sides? I.e. speed sensors on both sides? Thx again

    is anything different for the 1500?

    • @Naturalgearhead
      @Naturalgearhead  Před 8 lety

      I'm not sure, never did one on a 1500, sorry man. I would venture to think the 2500hd is different though, just because of the 3/4 ton vs a 1/2 ton, but not sure.
