Those renders were so well made! Please never do this again.
Didnt expect to see you here
i actually want to see a part 2
Wat?
didnt expect you to be here
Why u here
You guys should try a “most confusing/mind bending render challenge”
ooh yes!
Now that's an idea!
Definitely!
YEEEES
This.
You guys should do a challenge of who can make the best “bad mobile game ad” render. We’ve all seen those terrible mobile games that have the most utterly bizarre ads that clog up our Instagram feeds - state of survival, mafia wars, etc. I feel like this could be a super creative one!
love this idea
Yeeeesss
I think those adds are bizarre enought, please dont waste your time creating more of thes jajaj
yess absolutely
Lmao nice idea
The most disgusting thing that comes to my mind is doing something that the "disgust instinct" tells you not to do.
Like licking and biting pimples with your teeth.
YES !
Oh no no no no no
this idea literally made me recoil. so yeah i think it would be a pretty gross render!
Urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
That's so so gross, damnit, now i need a brain transplant
Can't imagine what R-Rated movie they should edit to look G-Rated as possible, If they do, I swear they'll have a good time laughing like maniacs.
G rated Texas chainsaw or saw haha
The Thing comes to mind
G rated Deadpool 2 would be interesting
G rated serbian film
@@axolotl0424 pretty sure they already made that dude
Wren's was just weird. The eyes took away any realism so any grossness. Peter's was rather gross until we had the Alien Chestburster come out, then I just laughed. Jordan deserves this win
True. Wren's wasnt really gross for me at all. If he had made those worm like things actually moving inside his skin or whatever, wouldve been much grosser. Peters was the grossest for me. Jordan probably shouldve peeled the foot more, wouldve had a much bigger impact
Imagine if a spider crawled out of a sack after the pop instead.
I feel like Peter's would have been far grosser if the little alien realized what was happening and started to struggle and resist being pulled out.
Ehhh idk, I think the ONLY reason why Jordans would edge out Peters is because it involved food. I think Peters was a lot more visceral/displeasing. Wrens was eh(still love you to death man). Like Peter said though, Jordans did have an attention to detail.
@@ayushrawal7436 Take Wren's good face, make it gradually pops out cysts from every center of the polygons, make those explode in random sequence to form a hole-face, let slimy worms crawl out from each hole, which crawls around the face and bursts to reveal fast-moving spiders all with 30 furry legs, and then they squeeze back to the holes on the face.
Render challenge: Based on Netflix's Is it Cake, where you each make some photo realistic renders and pair them up to some actual videos to see if everyone can guess if it's fake.
Jordan almost "out-petered" Peter... but then Peter made a perfect-looking small alien (gross and everything, but almost cinema-worthy)... so yeah, brava, Peter!
You should do a challenge where you make the most creepy or uncanny renders. See who you can freak out
I would love that
I like the idea of uncanny like Submechanophobia
I love it! They'll have to intentionally create what most cg artists try to avoid and there's so much psychology involved as well like asking what'll instinctually make someone uncomfortable just like this gross-out challenge.
Imagine spiders for wren
Would be a great Halloween episode
Would be nice to see a scary/horror render challenge 😳
Great idea
i think the same
This is scary and disgusting
That'd be amazing
Would absolutely love to see this
Imagine a render where you see an eye and the eyelashes start moving and you find out they're the legs of a spider trying to get out from under the eyelid.
That’s an sco
Scp
16:40 This one would have been so, so, SO much worse if the creature removed was more explicitly insect-like. I can't handle those at all. I mean, I find a certain satisfaction in pimple popping videos, but when it comes to creatures under the skin, bugs are worse because my mind can make that real. I just can't make myself believe that this little Giger-esque skin monster with the pointy teeth exists so easily.
Yes!!! I think that's what made it way less gross for me, 'cause I was expecting an insect with long legs. But then it was a lumpy almost cute lil baby alien instead, which killed the grossness.
I thought Wren's draft was way more disgusting than the finished product.
(it looked cooler too, with the lighting)
Definitely
It was because of the liquid render just wasn't prefect. It was too easy to tell it was a render. That what got me. I think it would have won if it wasn't for that. The liquid puss should have been like the second one and then it would have been the gross. Now, If would have started where you saw his face change to have the hole from like maggots and then the pus came out afterward then it would have won. They were all amazing work. I'm trying to learn how to do animation.
Agreed, when the light flew inside the head while he was demoing the effect I had like a nauseous flinch and that was the only reaction I had
i was waiting for some skin peel :(
I was really hoping to see the light inside the head in the final render. The eyes really threw it for me. And the trypophobic effect was lessened by everything being multicolored tubes, etc. If it was all kind of degraded flesh texture and had little maggots poking their heads in and out of the holes that would be like trypophobia perfection.
You guys should do a "Phobia Activating" Challenge! Figure out some of peoples worst phobias and make renders of them. Eg: Tight spaces, Heights, Spiders.
If this will actually happen all I can say to Wren and Jordan is R.I.P.,F's in the chat lol
PLEASE do this!!
@@snibbubzik3566 ya agree!
DONT DO TRYPOPHOBIA
They need to do a liminal space challenge
I don't know why, but Jordan's render made me laugh to a point of near hyperventilation. It was the funniest sh*t I saw today even though it was gross.
That was disgusting. Good work guys
Hey, how you doing
Not disgusting enough!
Peter's was so close to being super gross I think if he had like a super long worm being pulled out or cyst like stone being pulled out would've made it the ultimate gross simulation but still amazing work!
What would put it over the edge for me is if they decided the creature belongs in there and pushed it back into the wound.
And yeah, the creature/thing being pulled out can be creepier. Don't make it so anthropomorphic.
Yea and then the skin changing shape because of the worm getting pulled out.. that would be so gross indeed
Search 'bot fly larvae removal' ...
What's worse than pulling an insect out of a cist? pulling half an insect out of a cist!
yeah like a never ending worm that's what I thought at first
Them not knowing the words "retch" or "gag" and just mimicking the action every time is sending me 😂
Don't forget "dry heave"
Boke
"Eugh!"
16:22 if a centipede came out of that hole then it would definitely be a 10/10 on the gross scale.
You guys are currently my top FAVORITE channel!
I’ve always been into CGI/rendering and stuff and this channel puts it to its best!
You guys are funny, awesome, and inspiring, *KEEP GOING!*
After this one, you need to make the most cute & adorable renders.
We can finally see the completed version of Peter's hedgehog render lol
not gross enough
OMGGG YESSSS I'm dying to see it now. PERFECT IDEA! I'm subbing to you
@@hoppinggnomethe4154 It was gross in this video, just need to remove the gross aspect
@@enriquesalvador9904 most unsatisfying video
I think both Wren and Peter's drafts were grosser than their execution. The animation made it less gross
is it? r u slow or slow or slow?
Yeah, Wren's was conceptually gross, with the trypophobia, but honestly it wasn't as bad as he made it out to be. Maybe if it had things - little bugs - skittering in and out, or at least something long with many legs.
Peter's was grosser, but the little baby alien was cute. I was expecting a giant tick because the colouring and texture was similar, and I think it would've added to the grossness.
Overall, conceptually gross, but none of them made me gag or retch. And, as Sam noted, renders: 10/10.
yep, Wren's final product was cartoonish. it was far creepier when it was a realistic head.
Loved the light travelling around & through wren’s head initially… much more triggering I think…
@@jocosesonata I dunno, it was the lighting for me.
Most disgusting CGI? More like "This was amazing to watch, oh my!" Thanks so much for sharing all these renders; I loved watching them.
Y'all should have an "unexpected" render challenge where you don't know where it'll go next or surprises the most
Lol poor wren. He's barely holding it together. We love you dude! ❤
heh
He’s a man child
oh hey there Petey
Hello Pikapetey!
yeah, I wasn't expecting to feel this sorry for wren since the video where he had to animate a spider
Renders, amazing. Reactions, freaking hilarious. I need to throw out a shoutout to whoever edited this. They drove this whole story so well using all the content that was captured along the way. It all built to when Wren almost lost it as the climax of the video with a little bit more payoff at the end. FREAKING WELL DONE whoever cuts videos for CC. So freaking good.
NURK!
I believe Wren said once he's basically the only one editing these so he can bring his own humor into it.
i thought the same thing.. so much b-roll
woov look who is here
I am now very aware of the contents of my stomach in a way that I wasn't just 10 minutes ago.
Having Wren do the sponsored segment while disguising it as part of the show makes me want to stay and watch the ad. I am all for more Wren ad reads.
You should try the most GORY render challenge, it would be so funny what peter would produce
I agree, but there’s no way they could air it on CZcams.
We need a “creepy/horror” render challenge (similar to Kane Parsons’s Backrooms)!
^^^^
So uncany videos
OOOOH YES!!!!!!
Kane didn’t make the backrooms
No. Lame parson's shit is as scary as a puppies yawn the only people scared by his work are either zoomers or people bought up wrapped in carton wool. those backrooms videos are boring asf with a gay ass looking monster that looks more stupid than scary.
Not even remotely grossed out by Peter's, just super impressed by his talent.
I was the opposite where peters was the only one to gross me out
The liquid sim instantly made it ok for me. My brain just knows that's not what liquids look like, and that ain't it
Plus, the little guy was a lot worse before was saw the legs, then it just became a funny foggo
"talent"
@@sylph4252 who cares about your detailed critique. His talent is top tier and far better then you can ever do so don't act like your opinion means anything
@@I3eAsTzWorldGlobal calm down, armchair warrior. By your logic you should shut up too, so ether reexamine it, or stop being a hypocrite.
Now, tell me, where did I ever say a single thing about the quality of Peter's work? Liquid sym doesn't look real - duh, Peter said so himself, all liquid sims are like that. The parasite looking cute - not a single mention of the quality of the work, just the artistic choice. If your reading comprehention is that bad you should reconsider commenting as a whole
6:05
Come on now, are you trying to attract Dan Schneider or something?
I would've liked some kind of visual warning to the Trypophobia stuff, as I have REALLY bad Trypophobia. Otherwise great video!
This is the comment I was looking for. Thank you
Challenge: Trying to render in an iconic art style. (Example: take the old micky mouse boat cartoon. Is it possible with technology that you can digitally match something like that?)
I am 200% into this Cinnamon Toast King, selflessly granting us more than your crispy sweetness but this dope idea
Lets get some rubber hose animation going!
Yeah I'd be down to see what they can come up with. I like to see each of them come up with their own unique take on these sort of things. They're so creative and each also so different so the outcome is never ,ever what you might expect.
17:10 I think you've found the next render challenge! Who can make the cutest render.
Diserves more love. U guys work so hard for our enjoyment. Thank you:)
I’d like to see a body horror transformation render challenge, though that might be a little difficult to make
The ultimate challenge is eating while watching this
I would win then. I actually was finishing my lunch. I feel great.
Drinking coffee proved too difficult for me
I had to click off during the first two minutes
I was so grateful for the pixellation. Oof.
@@gabrielavillafanolortegui209 Ditto.. 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I’m down for sponsors that actually RELATE to what you guys DO. I skip every single ad spot in every single VFX Artists React episode, but I did not skip this ad spot. It’s actually relevant and was interesting to hear your expert viewpoint on the laptop. FWIW
Expert viewpoint sure, but it's also paid...
That was smooth af. Didn't realize that was the ad until you point it out!
i really like these render challenge keep'em coming boissss
You should do a most beautiful render challenge/most appetizing render challenge? It would be very interesting to see what you guys come up with.
Man, the blurred images almost aren’t blurred enough for me. I am struggling to get through this.I feel you Wren.
same problem, sitting at 7:15 ughhh, i guess i will have to pass on this video :|
Hehe
Lol weak
You guys need to make “The Most Physically Accurate Render Challenge”.
And to be able to replicate the physics in real life.... get Adam Savage to test it!!!!
I assume you meant physics simulations, but my first thought was to separate the challengers and have them try to create physically accurate renders of each other from memory with zero visual references.
Getting goosebumps is generally considered pleasant. But it's pretty difficult to define exactly what causes this ephemeral phenomenon. Could you guys compete in making the most goosebump-inducing (w)renders? That's at least a very abstract and imagination-stretching challenge. But hopefully fun too.
i have an idea for a tender challenge too: the “blue balls” render challenge, that it sets up something super gucking satisfying, like EXTREMELY SATISFYING, and then... nothing, well maybe not even nothing, but that it just fucks up COMPLETELY LMAO. *and even eviler, is that at first you can set up a precedent like something a little satisfying, just a lil bit though, nothing special and purely a tease. And then it blue balls the living FUCK out of you*
they did this I think
I think Wrens render would have had more impact if it started off with an extreme close-up of one or two of the holes with some sort of movement and ooze inside of them. Then, pull the camera slowly back to reveal that all the holes are on a face.
or a softbody flab of skin falling off revealing the holes - but the main issue is fidelity: texture detail and variations of color across the surface, and realistic lighting.
@@maximeteppe7627 yeah, somehow it felt like an animation from late 2010s video game. It had a lot of potential, but not remotely gross at all. Even though I am somewhat trypophobic this didn't hit the spot at all.
As therapy, yous should do a most heart warming CG challenge.
The spaghetti one actually made me gag, great job as always lmao.
Last one got me out of nowhere. I didn't think I'd gag
Peter's could have gone to 11, if the doctor went "Oh, that's not good... hold on" and then tried to stuff it back in.
For the unsung hero of whoever was editing this video and putting on the filter for the gross clips, props to you!
I love these render challenges!🥰 More! More! More!
the transition from "my laptop is fast" to nvidia sponsorship was so clean it took me half the ad to notice
For me, the problem with Jordan's render was that it was so zoomed out.
It had the potential to be the worst one by far, but I didn't really feel a visceral reaction because I didn't really see the foot in detail.
All 3 renders were excellent, though.
Personally, the more mundane or natural the setup is, the greater the gross-out factor is when you introduce the disgusting elements. So Wren's work - while I love Wren and all things Wren - was the least gross as his had a decidedly cartoonish quality
7:33 Saul Goodman theme starts playing
I like how the opening shot of the video is three perspectives. That was cool
The storytelling and editing in these render challenge videos has gotten so top notch. The formula was already great but when Wren was talking about adding holes to his face and Jordan interjects it's just so funny.
I actually was really impressed by Jordan’s rendering skills
I'm honestly just bummed I can't have visceral reactions to things, I'm like Niko I've been watching horror movies since I was 7 this is like a 1 out of 20
People making noise when they eat pisses me off but CG just doesn't trigger anything
I have a really boring job, all i do is sit on my desk and monitor streams all day. But Corridor Crew always make my day . I love you Guys.
4:46 Even the UPS truck looks sad 😂
Peter is freaking skilled. Tbh I thought his was the grossest. It evoked a physical reaction from me 100%
I thought Wren in his video would peel the skin off, revealing holes underneath, that would be even more disturbing.
Also, what Jordan's infamous render were you referring to in the beginning?
It was from the "bowling animation" video, they didn't show the render (because it's too disturbing) so we're only seeing their reaction to it
Yeah I wanna know that as well.
Something they had to redact, what little we did see involved a bowling ball guy and a bowling pin girl involved in domestic abuse, then it cut away to reactions.
I was expecting his skin to be peeled off, too
@@winter9523 The sound effects painted a good picture though. Well, not "good" but you know what I mean.
The best part of the final render, for me, is that it sets an opposite expectation first. People were commenting how it looked delicious, until you see where the "cheese" is coming from. Success.
I think you guys should do a "Most Creepy/Unsettling Render Challenge"... where everyone makes something that looks like an art piece by Trevor Henderson, Omega Black, or Junji Ito come to life. I feel like that would be perfect around Halloween.
I'd still love to see Jordan's infamous render one day
@@sbdreams bowling
@@sbdreams offensive bowling render challenge
Apart from the disgust-level, can we talk about how talented Peter is with VFX in general?
First time?
yeah like not sure if its his more animated style that makes it more impressive, but his works certainly stands out for the better
Jordan's was amazing, as well.
But yeah, Peter might be the most talented in the Corridor Crew.
The thing with Peter's renders is there's almost always a twist. Like his idea seemed the least inventive with popping the spot but then it just kept going. It would've been a touch grosser has more blood and puss come out as the hole got bigger.
I'm also amazed at how much detail he makes in the short amount of time they have.
Hey I just rewatched Zorro (1998) and there's a horse chase scene in the end that I think would be cool for a stuntman react episode! Can't remember if you already looked into it.
Oh and this was truly disgusting, 10/10 🤣!
I like eating while watchin this sort of stuff more because the contrast makes whatever bland food I'm eating instantly more appetizing compared what is shown on-screen.
I love these competition videos, we need more of them!
You guys should have a competition where you each fix a single bad effect shot in an otherwise good movie. Marty's hand fading in Back to the Future comes to mind. Maybe the puppet head from The Terminator. Everyone gets to pick their own shot.
I'm pretty sure they already did that?
@@gallusmacclure4107 They've fixed bad effects before, but as a group. This would limit the scope of the fix to allow for a bit of competition.
The infamous "Scorpion King" shot. "Black Panther" tunnel fight, any of the VFX shots from horror movies circa 2006-2014 lol
is it? r u slow or slow or slow?
04:32 Fun Fact: if it’s a cyst, that’s not puss. Puss is a mixture of white blood cells that collect at the site of an infection. A mass that forms due to an infection is called an abscess. A cyst is not related to any infection in the body, but they can become infected and then become abscesses. What comes out of a cyst is not puss but just a build up of keratin (the same stuff your skin and nails are made from) in a nice little sac your body made to protect it.
watched this video second time, when I watch this first time i had seen as normal video and enjoy it, but now I have taken admission in animation course and when I have seen this I LOVE this......
I haven’t even seen it yet, but I expect Peter’s to be way over the top disgusting. I’m guessing I won’t be disappointed.
I'll second you
And it was!
It also unfortunately follows the Zoomer trend of being unable to take anything seriously
Well that's his signature lol.
The lil xenomorph was perfect
Jordan fits right in with the crew, feel like he were always there
Gross render challenge idea: a single big toenail being pulled out. The blood and all, but especially the sound effects.
Also, building up with heavy rapid breathing and a maddening shriek at the end would just do it for me personally.
with exaggerated amounts of crusty cuticle, which cracks apart with sound fx like breaking kindling... yeah that would be a good one
Thank you so much for blurring that
Hearing Sam's story about the throat cyst and Wren saying he wants suggestions for future gross render challenges I can't pass on the opportunity to share this:
When I was 10 my friend had an underbite that was apparently going to keep pushing forward and cause problems when he got older, so he had to have corrective surgery where they removed an equal sized section from each side of his jaw and fused it back together, giving him an overbite. For the recovery his mouth had to be wired shut for a couple months to allow the fusion to take hold and he wasn't allowed solid foods--only liquids through a straw--or to forcefully blow his nose as the pressure could disrupt the healing process. When at last he got home after getting the wires removed and grabbing a cheeseburger and milkshake he was anxious to consume, he said one of the first things he did was try to blow his nose because he took a bite and couldn't breathe while chewing and to his surprise, out came a long tendril of blood, phlegm, and pus that he could feel snaking all the way down his esophagus. He said his dad helped him pull it out and they flushed it down the toilet. Anyways, that's it. Sorry for sharing, it just seemed appropriate.
The visualization that appeared in my imagination, because of everything you just said, has made me more revolted than anything rendered in the video itself. If anything, I'm disturbed and somehow proud despite not knowing you. So good job!
This reminds me of when I had a deviated septum surgery. A week after removing these long silicone tubes that keep your nose structure after the surgery, I went back for a check up and the doctor had to remove the crusts that formed after a bit of healing. It was probably one of the worst pains I've ever felt, because it seemed like the hardened blood, mucus and snot went all the way up to my brain, and she kept pulling it hard until everything came out in a single big chunk. After removing it, my nose started bleeding like a fountain. Good times.
Yuuuuck! A family member of mine is going in for a similar surgery later this week. I'll remember to tell her NOT to tell me ANYTHING about it at the next family reunion.
Peter’s was the best! Small and simple. And it actually gave me more “hole fear” than Ren’s. The other two were way too over the top to be actually gross.
It's a real psychological thing called trypophobia .
A good video that explains it is on channel scishow
@@ninjawithnobalance yes I know I have it 😅 I just couldn’t remember how to spell it
The foot WON for sure! omg! Way to keep us in the dark at the end!
That lil alien looked really cute LMAO
I'd like to see an "Unexpected" render challenge. Something that completely subverts your expectations
I've never seen Wren less enthusiastic over the course of a video. I'm excited to hear about the metrics for this one, folks!
"I'm never eating clam chowder again" he says, as the spoonful of broccoli cheddar is 2 inches from my mouth.
Thanks for that one, guys.
I like how this guy just advertiser an entire graphics system in between gross conversations like we won't notice it's paid advert lol 😂
If I got a free $3000 laptop just for hyping it up to people I'd do it too... I definitely have my eye on one of those for my next portable studio computer.
YES! More render challenges
I honestly expected worse from this. Maybe I'm just messed up mentally.
Wren's didn't bother me at all. Peter's ALMOST got me, until the little alien dude came out, then I was just laughing. Jordan's didn't do anything for me until the puss, but that was very short compared to the rest of the render.
No idea who wins, but I think we can go further.
I think they were walking a fine line of making sure this still remains appropriate for a broad audience. I mean they're CZcams royalty and pride themselves on their mass appeal.
I think if they went balls to the wall gross-out then it could end up disturbing enough to undermine the trust some of their audience has in them. People expect Corridor vids to be light, entertaining, informative and astonishingly well-produced - not genuinely unsettling.
That's just what I assume anyways.
Well if you were to be messed up I would be way gone, no reaction at all here. Sooo... I think you're not messed up, at least I hope so.
Exact same here. On Peters, opening the hole was pretty gross but otherwise not much. For Jordan's I think I would've needed a grosser looking foot, but the pus was pretty nasty. I also think Jordan's was visually the best
Agreed
@@RealPanzer999 I don't think anything they made in this video was gross enough to elicit an actual negative reaction for me, I even went back and replayed a couple moments because I thought they were funny and wanted to see them again.
The only legit gross thing (which I've seen before and know how they made it) is the eye cutting clip. That one gives me an actual, like, goosebump reaction. But that particular clip is known for being infamously gross. And it's basically the closest thing possible to real human gore. Not literally a human eyeball in a live human, but it is a real nonhuman eyeball in a package that is pretty much indistinguishable from a real human head, sustaining an irreparable and life altering injury that everybody fears.
That intro had me weak. We need those dance moves captured and saved for prosperity.
GANG, we need another one of this!!!
19:00 The way everyone goes "EUUGHH!!" in unison when he says "...to share with the hungry restaurant-goers" LMFAO
I love when these guys compete for such challenges. It makes my whole day.
Even though the stuff at the beginning was blurred, I still almost puked
their reactions were so familier that, I was squinting during the censored scenes
"There's not much in this world that I find more repulsive than feet."
Tarantino: "yeah... repulsive... let's go with that."
i'm thinking you should do a chalange like "The most distressing Rednders"
I remember as a kid wondering what the deal was with my hatred and repulsion of holes as in clustered holes then I found out that I have trypophobia and im not the only one lol.
im in school for computer animation and this is exactly the type of stuff I want to do! I love that gross horrific gory stuff!
I feel like Jordan’s would have made me wretch if it included the spaghetti being eaten.
The one with the foot was particularly creative and fun to watch. None of them grossed me out, though.
You, good sir, must have a strong constitution.
Bro that foot was a 10/10 💀
Here's an idea for the next one - create a render of someone driving whilst picking their nose, when suddenly they have an accident - we go slow-mo as the airbag deploys and hits their arm, forcing their finger deep up into their nose - so deep that it pops their eyeball out and the tip of the finger protrudes from the eye-socket.
