I did this walk a few years ago and it’s a tough one; far tougher than climbing Scafell Pike from Wasdale or Seathwaite. Great job with the vid and for anyone wishing to do this walk set out early and don’t underestimate the amount of ascent and distance involved. Top job Phil!

Langdale to Scafell is my favourite walk in this country, Absolutely amazing. Loved watching this video re-seeing everything! Definitely just tempted myself to rebook into Langdale this year! Epic

just watched this having had a failed sunrise summit attempt the other day due to a faulty head torch and terrible weather. I was at rosset pike at 599m before having to return in the pitch black only a phone torch (very dim) leading me back. was really good to see what I missed. thank you for the video. my route was taking me over esk pike and bowfell on return as I live a distance away and wanted some good hiking. I managed to do the langdale pikes. I'm returning on 20th after doing Ben Nevis. great d
    video.

Only done it from Wastwater before, although this looked a great route but a bit longer. Took a chance with a new camera , especially on such a big walk but it did OK and with be even better with an external mic. Aye, that is ankle breaking territory indeed and that for me, is the only bad bit about the hike up there. Great views from the summit, a view on a clear day, you would never get sick of and looked even better with the drone. Got a couple of canny shots mind and it looked like a belter of a day, cheers Alan

Another top video Phil - How did you find the camera? I use a canon 700d for stills but at times it's a bit heavy to cart around - mirrorless is definitely the way forward - photos looked good - all you need is location, composition and light - easy!! 🙂

This was my first time going up but I’ve done quite a lot of walking in the lakes anyway. It’s a great route with some fantastic views but it’s a long hard day out, rewarding at the end. I set out walking around 07:30-08:00 but wasn’t rushing. Hope that helps mate and thanks for watching ATB Phil 👍

Hi Steven I don't mind it to be honest, reminds me to drink haha. I don't like the bladders as the water taste like plastic. I carry a Sawyer filter or MSR trail shot and fill it up from the tarns or running streams on the trail 👍 TFW Phil
