  • Using livescope to locate these stubborn perch here in Erie, Pa! I use a #6 VMC spin shot hook with a 3/8oz drop shot weight and French Creek Fishing Company plastic! The “Pin Worm” if probably my favorite plastic made by him to use drop shotting!

Awesome I would try and make a trip soon! Some local anglers are catching females that has spawned already. Obviously doesn’t mean that they all have but it’s starting.

What fun watchin fellas. Is that bait scented? That was the most nuggets I've seen caught not using live meat. I'm on my 3rd watch and just liked and subscribed 👍🏿. Please finish your comment about running livescope and T-motor on the same battery

Thank you very much! Honestly I have used live bait in a few years. These plastics took me a little bit to get the hang of but now are definitely my confidence bait of choice! Yes these baits are scented and they glow!
As far as my livescope and Minn kota hook up, my Minn kota is a 36v system and I’m running it with 3 (group 31) series batteries and have my garmin and black box hooked to that same batteries. Honestly at least in my situation, I can fish 8 hours and my battery voltage drops like .75v total. Now it may be different in other scenarios but it has worked well for me!

You've got your scope tweeked nicely being connected to the same cell system with a T-motor, very clean & clear signal. I seen a video where a guy used performance cables (larger guage shielded power wires) to eliminate noise picked up from the long run from his battery placement to the head units. I never seen them used anywhere else since.

Yes I was impressed with the clean signal that I get to the unit. Eventually my plan is to put the unit into a shuttle as I’m going to be using it for ice fishing next season so then it’ll have its own lithium battery. Soon here I’m going to be taking the lvs34 off my TM barrel and mounting it on a pole. 1. So I can spot lock and scope at the same time 2. Just to clear the little interference that I do get.

That is precisely why I want the scope portable. Also, my toon is 22ft and being reconfigured as a fishing machine for possible charters. All captain chairs or fishing seats, no lounge sofas, and a center counsel. FYI: the Detroit River walleye run is in motion. Any given day 200+ boats of jig fishing and tournaments can be expected. The new Gordy Howe bridge to canada has provided a fantastic structural refuge. You guys should come for your 45 minute limits.

@@awakenedtotruth8419 I’ve seen another channel on CZcams that trolls for walleye in a pontoon. They run like 5-6 rods per side as well it was pretty slick haha. It would definitely be a blast coming over for the walleye, the maumee has been on my list since my buddy mentioned it too.
