- Galactic War is one of the BEST and EASIEST places for a beginner player to farm a lot of characters really fast that are pretty decent! It is also the place that I recommend farming most of your ships! What characters should you farm first? Stay tuned and you will find out!

I took the time to farm out Sun Fac up to 6 stars because I saw his value alongside geonosian soldier. And I actually found that Jedi Consular really shines by their side. My team of phasma (lead), Royal Guard, Geo Soldier, Sun Fac and Consular have kept me stable around rank 200 without difficulty. If I took the time to max out my gear (still mid range gear IX for most), or mods I think I could break into rank 20 easy
But I'm so glad that Consular shines so well in fleets and wonder what other dark side characters will get ships.

AhnaldT why did you leave the den of Ren and join team skunk?
Very long story but I'll make it short. I brought the Den of Ren over to TeamSkunk so they could get some great people to play with. So to this day they are TeamSkunk Den of Ren. Once two close buddies of mine who helped me start the guild from day 1 left to go to a new guild (mainly due to frustration and the stress of getting hundreds of guild notifications a day) I just tagged a long with them since I didn't want to break our circle we had for so long.
I still talk with DoR on a daily basis and help them out when I can.

As a first galactic war farm i suggest luminara because she is a good healer and she is basically a better jedi Consular

I feel your pain with exams. I'm a full time worker and a full time engineering student, so I had no time for the tournament either. Heck, I barely have time for ships! Really looking forward to the winter break. Thanks as always for your vids, they are great!

Just my five cents for absolute beginners..Go with Luminara first! Her healing ability and continuous healing as the leader will get you through the galactic war so easy. I've beaten every single run, currently at lv 52 and GW unlocks at 40..so quite a few of them and she is (only) at 6*
biggs for a new player is not that great, especially without his buddy Wedge, as you mentioned. His secondary attack will net you one more attack but I would rather focus on Luminara.
Teebo is very interesting but if we're talking 101 and new players, in my humble opinion, he shouldn't be farmed..just yet! Why? Becuase you won't do much in raids as a new-mid player. Unless your guild is starting 1 star rancors which is pointless.
Droid dude on the other hand is great at higher stars, kinda squishy until you get to 4 stars (talking in new players terms), but, again, as you said, great damage output.
TL:DR - 1. Luminara, 2. Ig-86, 3. Biggs (imo)

Yeah I kind of bounced back and forth between Luminara and Phasma as the best GW shipments leader. Both are great characters for people starting out for the first time and super easy to get. I don't think you can go wrong with either of them but you definitely should farm them both at one point or another.
Teebo is definitely more of a mid-game progression character. Without the other key raid characters he will not be too much of a help which is why he is more midway on the list for me. (I personally just finished farming him maybe 3 weeks ago).
I forgot to mention so much about IG-86 since he is so good. He was actually my fastest farmed character since he is in GW, hard battles, and cantina. Got him to 7 stars like in 2 weeks.
Looking at your TL;DR I think I would agree mostly. Maybe in my opinion make your #1 slot as Phasma/Luminara. Coin toss it. But Phasma is definitely going to be more useful in the end game over Luminara but by then people will have both of them farmed up.

Congrats on taking down the raid! My guild struggles getting through on Normal, Heroic we tried and it didn't work out too well. I was in the middle of farming Cad Bane in GW but stopped to focus on ships, since I'm using Fleet Tokens for Sun Fac and Rex.
Jedi consular is underrated imo, that short heal and Dmg is usable, and all chars are usable somewhere be it GW , tourneys, battle/cantina stuff, raids, all that jazz
Yeah we all kind of give him trash but I did find him helpful when first starting off in the game. But once everything became about throwing 20k damage he just looked so puny. But now he is the one laughing with his shades on when killing it in Fleet Arena!

I still got to farm the IG 88 and poggle. Got the rest. I guess I will focus on shipments for now. Dont have any droids anyway.
The jawas are important for crit dmg mods. Im levelling them right now, got all of em.
Got all the troopers too. but no money/energy for levelling them for the potency challenges.
And no money/energy for mods :D SO hard to get money.
Can you make a General Farming Guide for new players, just started a week or so ago and while I really enjoy these videos i could use a helpful general guide for what i should be aiming for prior to GW.
I actually do have a general farming guide! It is slightly outdated but for the most part the characters I mention are still good. The plan is to do individualized farming guides for each shipment then I'll follow up with a general overview of everything we talked about. But feel free to check out the previous guide in the meantime!

sun facs ship isnt exclusive to fleet shipment, around 7mins it on screen for gw

lol right, I keep my phone next to me on the charger and when I wake up during the middle of the night for whatever, I hop on do some things, then pass back out, rinse repeat lol.
Right now I have a pretty sweet combo of Darth Vader + Sun Fac + Old Daka, Darth Vader is constantly inflicting de-buffs on enemies so that Sun Fac can heal, and Old Daka revives them if they die / stuns high dmge dealers. At the moment I am lacking a leader ability and a good damage dealer, what two characters do you think I should use? I was thinking of using Count Dooku(Darth Tyrannus) and Darth Sidious, but I'm not sure.
Boba Fett might be a great option! Has a great leader ability which allows himself and others to put out more damage and he is a big damage dealer himself!

I do have a video but it is a very old one and not all that entertaining lol I'm planning on making a new one for our 101 series at some point. The tips I mentioned in the past are pretty much the same but the video is not up to par to what I do nowadays.

have 6 star phasma 6 star lumi 6 star biggs 4 star ig86 but dont have droid team 2 star teebo but dont quite understand what a good raid team is I just use my original teams so who should I farm?
hi AhnaldT101. great vid. im currently lvl65. should i farm only characters from GW until i reach higher lvls or should i use like 2 buys on characters and 1 on a ship from the 3 buys i get each day. thx.
`This is kind of an unrelated question but do you have any tips on leveling quicker? Cuz I do literally everything that I can think of. I do all of my dailies as well as several energy refreshes a day and still I seem to be leveling so slow (currently only 83). Anyways I'm loving you content my dude! Consider me subbed
I can make a video on this but some off the top things that you didn't mention (aside from refreshing energy). One thing to consider is farming your gear or shards at the highest normal node possible. You will get slightly more energy when doing so! But even so it will take awhile to level up. Once you hit level 70 things start to slow down a ton. Thanks for subbing and hope you keep enjoying the content!
why you don't have all stars in light and dark side battles?
Hey what up dude I recently just started playing this game and I can officially say I am addicted to this game lol
I'm currently a lvl. 46 & I'm having trouble with "Galactic War". I can't beat the current battle I'm in right now, the enemies are lvl 50 - 54 and I'm getting destroyed.
Any tips or meaby a way to progress any faster? just a heads up I have no credit card to buy anything so.....yeah :(
My top 5 strongest characters at the moment are:
1. Chewy CloneWars (4stars)
2. Luke Skywalker (4stars)
3. Biggs (4stars)
4. Mace Windu (4stars)
5. Jedi Consular (3stars)

Yeah at the level you are at there will be some days where Galactic War doesn't work in your favor. Happened to me all the time when first starting. Few ways to make it faster: 1. Farm some more high damage toons since that is one thing your top 5 characters are lacking 2. Farm better healers like Barris or Luminara 3. If a Galactic War battle is not looking good then back out and try again (this resets the match and you don't lose any characters).
I have so many 101 videos planned out and GW tips is one of them. No credit card needed to win! Just a little patience and farming the right free characters! :) Hope this helps for now!

Don’t farm Mace Windu. I made that mistake...mods...ability upgrades...he isn’t good.

. But my Grand Moff is level 50, 4003 power, plus Cad bane 3500 something and in still having a hard time beating the damn thing
Hey Ahnald I love your videos, I started this game when it first came out played for a month and then stopped. Recently I've been a lot more into it although I have a full Phoenix team with Hera at 7 stars, kanan 7, Ezra 7, zeb 6, and sabine at 5. Everyone is at G8 except for ezra with 5/6 gear pieces and at gear 7. I'm placing at about 1500 topping out at about 1300. I think because I started then stopped everyone got ahead and now it's really hard to catch up. Do have any advice on how to catch up? Also I'm working on an empire team right now of Palp lead, Vader, Grandma Tarkin(lol), TFP, and Royal guard. Following that I'm thinking of making a resistance team, making Finn my first Zeta. I loved your top ten zeta video by the way I totally agree with it. Also good luck with the Rey event and the whole vets thing, I see a lot of potential with her 2nd unique zeta insight. In conclusion though, do u have any advice on how to catch up? and also I love your videos!
Just curious as to how outdated this is or does is still hold up, I played alot early in the games release, where characters such as luminara and sidious were frequent in arena teams, Im lvl 55 Im just kinda lost on where I should go next. Should I continue to farm sidious even though his late game seems not a viable, Old Ben seems like another option as he is appearing in Rey teams now, like I said Im kinda lost.
are tournament rewards totally random? or can you increase your chance to get full items by like, donating or smth else?
Do you mean raid rewards? It's dependent on how high on the leaderboard you finish, as there are different tiers for the reward chests you get. It's random as far as what gear you get, but you just have a better chance at fully crafted ones the higher you finish. Heroic raids also seem to drop them more frequently overall.
Patrick ah yes I meant raid rewards lol. Thanks for reply. I heard somewhere that the more you donate, the better chance to receive full items. Probably just a thing to get people to donate more lol
Yeah sounds like a trick haha. I wish that were the case, or wish you'd at least get something extra for donating.

+Stephen Bellomy There hasn’t been too much added to GW shipments besides Zeb and Bodhi really. If Thrawn is on your radar you should definitely farm Zeb asap. Other than that not many characters out of that shipment had improved. But phasma, Zeb, are must haves. The end goal is farm everything out of there
I'm having trouble deciding whether to keep farming shards for my droid team to get them to seven stars (HK47, 88, 86, Bobafett, RG) or to swap over and start farming a rebel team. I can't seem to get past rank 30 in the arena. I'm level 47 btw. Any help for a newer player like myself would be a huge help.
Droids are amazing IF you have the most required character for them.... Jawa Engineer. If you do not think you'll have Jawa Engineer anytime soon I'd say Rebels are the way to go. They are only getting more powerful over time, needed for the Palpatine event, and they are easy to farm.
Personally, my droids (Hk, 86, 88, JE, and B2) destroy almost anything and work great. They make GW and arena very easy for me. But without JE or B2 you will notice it is difficult to climb the arena latter.

would you say it's possible to complete all of galactic war at level 44/5? my friend claims he's done it but I still doubt it. he thinks he's invincible because he has wiggs
I've seen some people do it. If you farm the right characters it is definitely possible.
Yo, nobody should buy ally points. I get 20k over like 3-4 days, then I spend them on data cards, cuz I have nothing to spend them on otherwise...

If you have Sun Fac to 4 stars, definitely finish him off. I'm personally farming Rex because I love clones and I'm just looking to take my Rancor competitiveness to the next level.

I'm doing a rebel squad and am farming Biggs and resistance pilot is that's ok?
What rebels should I try and farm though I am trying lando and have like 5 rebels so far
Biggs is definitely a great character if you want him now! Rebels and Droids are by far two of the best factions in the game. Plus, Biggs is great for the Palpatine event. If you have the other characters I mentioned already, Resistance Pilot is an alright choice to go with. Wouldn't be one of the first characters I would unlock if starting from scratch.

Do keep in mind that Resistance Pilot is not a rebel and they will not be getting Rebel specific bonuses. But they are definitely decent for ships! If I were you, in place of RP I'd put in Lando or Stormtrooper Han! That would be a great team!
are there any ships which only appear in GW shipments?
If I am correct (and I'm 97.5% sure on this) I do not believe there are any exclusive ships for GW. Hard to tell since they randomly show up but I took some screen shots for several days and it seems they are the same ships as Fleet Shipments.
