Just to clarify: My overall recommendation was not to disregard farming ships whatsoever but instead farm ships in Galactic War since you can farm most of the ships from fleet shipments in there. Most of you understood what I meant but some of you thought I reached a different conclusion so I just wanted to clear up some things. I explain this in my follow up video where we talk about GW shipment advice!
I think all Fleet Arena tokens should be spent in ship blueprints, so you can start farming zetas faster.
A couple of the Zetas are even more OP than Sun Fac.

AhnaldT101 yerp..u need to farm the dark ship..for u easily get zeta..honestly speaking the drop rate of zeta in the executrix challenge is quite high..in 20..i got 10..its like 50% chances..so easier for u to zeta lots of character..

Farming ships first, then clones, also supplementing other high priority farming (Wedge, etc)
Staying sub rank #200 is nice, 1200 ship shards a day makes for at least three picks.
Yeah this video was made before they added Sun Fac and Rex to the guild store. Ever since that I've been exclusively farming ships from there!

Oh no!!!! Hopefully after the next payout you'll be able to unlock him! Unlocking General Grievous is one of the best feelings in the game!

Ships first because they unlock the rest. Especially ships for the Ability Material challenge which requires Executrix which requires 5x 5* Darkside ships. Ships require pilots so I could see getting either Maul or Sun Fac as a character in that priority tree.
If you saw my GW shipments video I recommend getting ships from there to progress for all your ship stuff. This video you saw here was strictly about farming in fleet shipments. So my general conclusion was not to farm ships at all. 90% of ships in fleet shipments can be farmed in GW which is a way better way to farm ships in my opinion. So my recommendation, at least in my view, still stands for fleet shipments which is to farm characters in there and ships from other avenues.
I just got to level 60 so this is useful. I wish the fleet shipments were fixed so I could just farm Darth Maul now that he's good

I really want to farm Maul as well but as of now he is probably going to come after I'm done with Clones. He's starting to look good with the new stuff EA added to his abilities lately.
Like you said, I don't really care too much about ships. As long as I'm in the top 500, I'm fine. I've been farming grievous cause I want him for my droid team. He's 55/80 and I can't hold in my excitement :)
I have to say Grievous to this day was the most exciting character to unlock! Knowing that you are one of the few makes it so worthwhile! Can't wait till you get him yourself :)

Haha I'm glad you think I'm great at this! I'll keep doing this as I'm in school because who knows the game might vanish one day whereas I can never imagine us being in a country where no laws exist anymore (or when people can abide by the laws 24/7). As of now, this is not at a level where I can make a living but it is a lot of fun to do while in school and who knows it may turn into something more one day :) It would be great if it could because I love doing this!
IMO getting ships and finally getting that Zeta on the dark side challenge is the way to go. All the time used buying them from the shipments VS. the time getting it by way of challenge will pay off in the long run. And u said it, ship shipments are the way to go. Staying in the ships lead will open up Rex/Sun Fac and Zetas given enough time. And the tournament for Vader's ship should have been done with ships not heroes. It pretty much guarantees 99% of the people that dominated last tourney will do the same this one. Since ships are new, granted people bought extra blueprints, but if someone who is fairly new did the same,,, it could be the most balanced tourney this game will ever see. It's only been a week so there is only so far the gap can get. If they do ship tourneys later on,,, that gap will get exponentially larger with time. Plus if it something they just brought to the game and plan to keep it,, what better way to get people into ships than to have a tourney right away for,,, u guessed it,,, AN EXCLUSIVE SHIP.
Definitely the way to go for Zeta for sure. I forgot to mention it in the video about Zetas being farmable from challenges.
I know I'm surprised that they did not make this tournament event for ships only. Maybe its because people would've been upset that they do not have enough ships to compete? Another issue I can see people having is that the tournament would be geared towards people who spent thousands of dollars on ships over the past week. I'm personally holding my ally points for the possibility of another tournament event for a special character!
AhnaldT101 I believe they didn't do it also because there just aren't enough ships out there yet! It's meant to be like a GW situation where you use many squads not just your top one
Kyzer Zozay this will be the answer I think. Zeta's will bring a new meta, I can already see great things coming from a QGJ lead with Yoda. The question is, how good will clones be?
Right now I just don't know if I should go for ships or directly for Zeta's, the main problem is that I would need to farm dark side pilots as well.

I'm working on Ship Toons and Ships like Resistance Pilot, because I never farmed them in the past, so I can maintain a top 100 rank in Ship Arena, because it gets really competitive really fast.
I will work on Sun Fac and Rex later, because they're not going anywhere.
Same here! Once Baze leaves the shard shop I'm going to go ahead and farm the ships from GW. I didn't talk about it in the video but the top of my fleet arena is crazy with people who spent a fortune. That's why I'm not in any rush to be great in fleet arena like I am in squad arena.

Doing the occasional Sun Fac atm, but also rushing building up the easy farm ships with their pilot counterparts as a higher priority. Why? 7* ship mat challenges. That alone is going to make the omega and zeta farm breeze by that much faster than by shipments alone. My theory is that being able to upgrade more characters more quickly will prove more useful in the long run than setting myself back further by gunning for more characters that are just going to take that much longer to max out anyway by skimping out on ship development.
Yeah I've been working on ships from GW because the ships in both fleet shipments and GW are pretty much the same which I mentioned in a follow up video. You definitely do not want to skimp out on ships because it is definitely important in the long run!!
For me I am farming ship blueprints till I have a collection of 5 star ships at minimum so I can qualify for the highest tier of Ship Ability Materials challenge that does give Zeta and Omega mats, the faster I can get that unlocked the faster I can start farming them to enhance the characters I do have maxed out then when that is done then start working on the characters I don't have yet.

Yeah that is a great plan. We didn't really talk about how I am farming ship blueprints but farming through GW is probably the fastest way and a lot of people have most of the characters farmed from there already.
Farming ships is important. Staying competitive will give at least 400 currency per day over people who don't farm ships. That's an entire fleet shipment.
Right this wasn't a guide on farming ships (which I will make soon) but there are easier ways to farm ships outside of fleet shipments which I would strongly recommend. Definitely want to farm your ships still so you do not fall behind but I would rather get them from GW than fleet shipments.
not as bad as the grievous farm..but was purchasing sun fac via shipments (crystals) for awhile..now he is available for fleet. if only i had known.. :)
Haha yeah tell me about it. If I would've known about Grievous going F2P two weeks after I got him to 7 stars I would've just waited. It at least felt very rewarding to unlock Grievous the hard way I suppose :)
I've got Darth Vader and Bistan in these shipments.

im using my fleet shipments on ships, so i can unlock the higher tiers in the fleet events, and always have atleast 400 in backup, so when it refreshes and slave 1 is availible I buy that, since that's the only place to get it, unless you pay hard cash
That is a great idea too! I personally am farming ships in GW since I have pretty much all the characters in there and they have some decent ships in there. Slave 1 is an amazing ship as well! I tried it while at EA!
I'm done farming Sunfac. What I have plan is to farm Rex in guild store. In fleet shipments I'm gonna do Zeta, along with Vader and Slave 1, since they only appear like once a week

I had a great birthday thanks for asking! I actually had a chance to use Darth Vader's ship while at EA and its definitely an amazing ship. But I'm probably holding back on this tournament. I'm waiting for another character event to show up since I have 200k ally points as of now.
AhnaldT101 you need more man. I only got Chirrut to 4 stars, but at least I unlocked him.
This video should maybe be updated. In my opinion you should farm: vader, chirrut, rex, Maul and sun fac. Then ships/zetas

I'm getting top 50-100 depending if I do more then one battle each day so guarantee to get 3 purchase a day, currently farming sun fac but at 10 shards a day along side his ship at 4 a day I split it in gw as well I farm one or two specific ships and one toon if I don't see a ship I'm farming I buy more shards for the toon that day, almost at 6* sun fac and 4* for his ship. strictly f2p so no shards from packs for either.
That is awesome to hear! Yeah all the ships and premium characters can be easily attained from either fleet shipments or GW. People have been doing the farm characters in fleet shipments and farm their ships from GW type of deal. I'm having bad luck seeing Rex shards. I don't have him even at 5 stars yet!

It's not very hard for me to stay right around rank 100 and get 1200 credits everyday.
Neither Rex or Sun Fac are required to be competitive in both heroic AAT and rank1 Arena. Getting 8 5* ships ASAP to begin farming zetas is min/maxin your time. While this video is a good opinion, it's not optimal.
Haha yeah I've replied to several comments on this because it seems my advice was taken the wrong way. This video was ONLY on what to farm from fleet shipments. Not a "let's ignore ships entirely video" because yes farming no ships at all is horrible advice. Most of the ships in Fleet Shipments are farmable through GW (Ahsoka, JC, Tie Fighter, Geo Spy, Biggs, Wedge, etc.) which is a way better avenue to farm ships. The other ships in Fleet Shipments are for characters like Sun Fac and Rex... which is kind of backwards to farm their ships first without the character.
Hope that clarifies that for now but my GW farming guide video will be up tomorrow so you guys know what I meant. :)
You recommend not farming characters that can be found in other locations but if you want to participate in raids or have a high star arena team, shouldn't you aim for characters that can be found in multiple locations to get them faster to 7*?

(MY OPINION) I disagree with your advice to do characters over blueprints. I think you need to get ships now and if you wait you until ships are actually necessary, you will definitely pay for it in the future. They may not implement anything for ships in the next couple months, but they will be used eventually. I don't see the advantage of waiting out for a couple characters you really don't need. I don't have sun fac or Rex and I could care less. They aren't necessary, but ships will be necessary.
Also regarding zetas...never farm them from shipments. It's such a waste. Get the blueprints so you can do the challenge for them and farm them that way. If you do that not only do you have ships, but you also have zetas.
I think the way I said it in the video it made it seem like I was absolutely against farming ship blueprints. I'm going to clarify this in my next video for a GW 101 guide but what I meant was I am against farming ships in Fleet Shipments. Because a lot of the ships that are in there (like Bigg's ship and Jedi Consular's ship) are in other shipments like GW which is a far better way to get your blueprints. A lot of the ships in Fleet shipments are for Darth Maul, Geonosian Spy, Sun Fac, and Rex which the average person does not have so not sense farming those ships now if you do not have the characters.
So long story short, I 100% agree you should farm blueprints but just not in Fleet Shipments since GW is a much better place to do it. Thanks for sharing your
AhnaldT101 ahh gotcha. I thought you meant as a whole. I still think blueprints should be of at least some importance in fleet shipments, but that's again just my opinion.

Spending it on zeta mats is horrible, you should definitely farm ships since you can farm the zeta mats that way.If you then need to farm the toons first or not is another discussion but should not spend it on zetas for like.. 2months at least
danzoeee We haven't gotten to the topic yet but I highly recommend farming ships from GW as the characters shards are a lot less valuable there (and a lot of people have a majority of the characters farmed from there) and then once you at least get Rex and Sun Fac then move on to ships in fleet shipments.
zeta is avaible in the ships but i believe they need to be 7*

Riky Verde I would do Lando because he is much easier to get and develop plus he has an awesome AOE
Lando, i mean if you want a rebel team he is the main key part of it.. Leadership is great for rebels and scoundrels, the aoe is AMAZING, the single attack is amazing too it does great damage.
Rey though.. She is one of the most strongest if not the strongest character in the game dealing crazy damage but she might be overtaken by boba fett since his rocket has 1hit my 7* ig-88

What about darth maul! He's meant to be good now and his ship is amazing, you should never buy zeta mat from the fleet shipments. You get it then from fleet challenges
After Rex and Sun Fac I'd say go for him. He's more like a second priority kind of how like the Clones are for me. But yeah try as much as possible to avoid Zeta mats. Character shards, then ships, then mats IF you really have to get them from there.
What about farming gear?
These shipments give 5 stun cuffs often
I treat fleet shipments like guild shipments. The characters and ships are a lot more important than gear. Gear will come naturally over time and in my opinion the cost of the gear in fleet shipments is too high. You'll be much better off farming characters or ships first.
Its funny cause I never thought about Rex and Sun Fac since they werent accessible for a f2p like me but now I'm so confused. I guess I'll go with Sun Fac since my only debuffer is QGJ in GW and when he's dead its kinda hard to keep on with big teams with a taunt like STH. And also I use RG on my Arena team with Biggs/Lando/Wedge and Rey, He could easily replace my RG on this team, right? I'll just lose a potential stun. If I plan on keeping my Wedge lead (for the healing for my 3 rebels + turn meter bonuses), there's really no need to rush Rex? Its only other use is his potency up thing right?
Sun Fac is definitely a great first choice! He's one of those great "cross meta" characters that seems to be great no matter what is going on. Rex offers a great leader ability during this current critical damage meta. He's also fantastic for the Rancor raid! People solo the whole entire raid with him. So if you want to get a ton of great raid gear that is one reason to consider him. The tenacity up he provides is also great against Palpatine, Tie Fighter Pilot and whatnot.

I'll prob have my Sun Fac at Gear 8 for a while will he still be usable? My RG I use in my main arena is gear 8 as well and he does a nice job the time he finally died there is only 3 ennemies left so victory is easy
Can u do arena shipments. I farmed so much Savage in it to 6 Star. And I'm doing to unlock Eeth Koth now for the Yoda Event. I'm limited on Jedi. I heard Sidious became terrible so that's way I didn't farm him.
Yeah we are going to get there soon! Today I just uploaded a 101 episode on Galactic War shipments. So arena is right around the corner sometime. I'd honestly say though right now there are many other options for Jedi for the Yoda event that will be more helpful for that event and in the long run. Eeth is kind of a poor character in the game.
Hi AhnaldT ! I missed the first chance to get Palpatine by playing the Emperor's Demise Event. Do U have any ideas or Information when this Event could return to SWGOH ? ;)
I actually do not have any idea when he would return. I did not think they would make his event this exclusive. If you want my opinion though, I think he would come back before the end of the year (so sometime this month in December?)I hope that is the case because I know many of you guys have your rebels ready to go for him!

so ive been farming sun fac but sometimes I dont see his shards, should I buy rex shards instead? or ship blueprints? or hold on to the currency? I don't want to spend crystals to refresh
Yeah try to abstain from using crystals to refresh fleet shipments. But that is a great plan. At times you can go several days before seeing any Rex. So bouncing between the two isn't a bad idea. Something I do not recommend doing for other shipments but fleet shipments is the exception.

Yeah I cannot wait to get Echo! My order for Clones as of now is Rex, Commander Cody, then Echo. But I do think Echo is slightly better than Commander Cody in some ways that may make me change my mind on the order I farm them.

Its totally random. Some days you will see him and some day you won't. Just like the guild store. It always does a random shuffling of them all!

No no no no! Farming zetas is a terrible idea. On average you can get - every 2'or 3 days depending on your rank. That's 40-60 days to zeta just one character. Go for Rex or Sun Fac yes but get thenships needed to unlock the challenge to get Zetas
80 grade Screwball Right which is why I was hesitant to recommend that when I was explaining how costly Zeta mats were. I'm farming ships from GW and don't want to waste fleet currency on ships in Fleet Shipments. All the same ships for the most part in both shipments with the exception of a few.
I am farming Wedge and getting as many ships as possible. Do you recommend that?
Daniel Strickler Wedge is an amazing character! I almost have him at 7 stars. We are going to have an episode on a GW farming guide but I highly recommend you farm your ships from GW since they are mostly the same as Fleet Shipments but the currency in GW is way easier to come by. So you are on the right track! :)

***** He is indeed, i'm just worried about the upcoming buff meta with chirrut etc. I feel like a dispell and buff immune in the same attack + relentless barrage getting his CDs down easy would be a little more benefical. However I don't even have B2 unlocked so I guess its a moot point until I do.
If you have Sun Fac already, I'd say gear him up first. B2 is amazing but Sun Fac is even more amazing!

Yeah to be honest I have not seen much of them either. Probably just bad RnG. I would've been a lot happier if they just took out the odd ones like GMT, Biggs, or SRP and just left the exclusives in there.

Learn to think for yourself you must.
Both strategies make sense to me. In the end the squad arena is and should still be your top priority. Having Rex and/or Sun Fac can be hugely beneficial for your arena success. Likewise being ahead in the race for the zeta mats could also make a big difference. It's up to you to decide which is more important. If you have a bunch of strong Jedi and got your eye on QGJs zeta ability, then focus on ship shards so you can farm zeta mats asap. If you want a way to counter all that wiggs now then getting sun fac might be the better option.
CZcams Deutsch There are many different opinions for ships! That plan from SmithieD might be great as well! You can still farm ships outside of Fleet Shipments too. I personally would recommend farming ships from GW since most people have all the characters unlocked from there and the characters are a lot less valuable in there as well. So you can still farm your ships while getting Rex and Sun Fac to ensure you aren't falling behind.

How can i play star wars galaxy of heroes on PC ? on Blustacks i got a problem. It says the version of my device is not supported. How can i fix that ? Could u help ? :)
I actually have zero experience with Android emulators on PC and would be the last person to troubleshoot them lol There are other emulators that people have recommended to me such as Andyroid, Memu, and Not App Player and they liked them more than Bluestacks. Hope that helps!
