It's likely he's going elsewhere next year, back on modern factory equipment... I wouldn't be surprised to see him outdoors again for a season since his health is better than it was. It might not be this year, but we'll likely see it again before he calls it a career. I could be wrong though.

I think people are underestimating how good Hunter will be outdoors. He won his championship with broken ribs last year!
I broke mine at about the same time and I could barely sleep properly for 2 months.. and that dude smashed those guys! 🤟
He was all sx season on the practice track
He’ll be close to Anderson this year until he finds his feet just like supercross. Once he does find his feet, it will forsure be the Lawrence show for the foreseeable future but until then it’s not gonna be as pretty as you’re thinking

He's always been a better motocross rider by far than he is in supercross, the bike fits his style, it's easier to handle outdoors, and you can hang it out more so set up is not as critical as it is in supercross, so he'll be just fine regardless... He and Jett use a near identical set up on their bikes and Hunter has a great base to start from thanks to Jett after last year outdoors on the same exact generation of motorcycle, it's the same exact bike...He's also been testing while Jett has been focused on supercross, so I'm sure he's feeling comfy and they'll both have a great base to revert back to if they come in during qualifying and realize they missed the mark on trying something new... Personally, Jett should just use last years settings and spend time fine tuning it rather than making big changes, which is probably what they're doing...Anyway, he'll be better than you think and he's just as good as Jett during the week, he's just got to put it together and outdoors is a great place for him to make that leap forward mentally

I think by later in the season he will be running up there with sexton and maybe Jett. Everyone forgets that the last time him and Jett were both outdoors on 250s he was right there every race with him going back and forth and I know Jett is better but if Hunter can start with Jett up front he can for sure hang with him. Idk if he will be able to beat him straight up but I could definitely see him surprising a lot of people
@@davidbiagi2932 The difference between the 250’s and now I think is the bike. Meaning that Honda was under powered compared to their competitors. The 450 is definitely as good or better as the rest of their competitors. So my point is they could start 1/2 a lot of motos. On the 250 Hunter was just as fast as Jett he just didn’t get as good of starts. Honda outright said they are basically the same speed during the week. It is only a matter of time before that translates on the weekend.
Crazy how it's less than a week until motocross!!!! These shows will get me thru the week. Feels like I was just waiting for sx to start😂
Hunter is going to be on the podium regularly.
I think Hunter will run 4th to 5th most weekends.
I think he will outperform Sexton.

He almost beat Lawrence last year, with no serious preparation for motocross with a kickstart 2018 frame Suzuki!!
A Suzuki that anybody can buy with 30 thousand dollars... But it was a bike that he felt comfortable on it..😉

Chase has no shot at a title. He might win a moto, but I'm doubtful of him finishing second in points.

Can’t wait for the 250 class preview They stole the show last year. I legit fell asleep during the second 450 motos. Jett might go 22-0 again.

They're always right there with each other on the practice track. The difference is on race day, Jett just shows up.
I think Hunter will be a podium guy and might battle Chase or Ferrandis in the points all year. But the only way he wins is Jett going down or starting 20th.
Jett has said for years that hunter is just as fast, if not faster than him at the practice track. Jett steps up on race day tho.

Remember that Hunter won his championship with broken ribs.. and he smashed them anyways. If Hunter gets his starts then I think it will be interesting. He could definitely beat Jett on any given day.
@mikul_ I don't think we will see Hunter beat Jett straight up. Jett has progressed a lot since they raced for the 250 titles. Plus Jett has a full year of outdoors on the 450.

Is Jcoop the next Timmy Ferry? The guy who's always there but nobody sees? Seems like it.
Ferry was one of my favorite riders back in the day, but he was always just kind of there and never in the limelight.

Ferrandis is on phoenix honda because there were no factory offers on the table

I think it's because he is less marketable than his peers. I dont think its just about results.
Steve and the crew gets a ton of money from Yamaha, they'll do anything not to mention Ferrandis wasn't happy with the blue mini vans

That's not true at all. Lots of racers have been great and avoided injury for a long time. Jett doesn't push harder than he needs to and basically never rides over his head.
People keep saying that but it hadn't happened in the last 6 titles he won 😂

I honestly don’t care about watching the 450’s. The 250’s are way more competitive and interesting in my personal opinion!
It’s not your opinion though. I love watching the 450s race because you’re literally watching history as it takes place. I don’t care what you think about Jett Lawrence but it’s true. He hasn’t lost a championship since he won his first one 2021 outdoors. There’s great racing during the races, people battling for position and whatnot but for sure the 250 class had the storylines and rider parity which made for much more competitive racing. Jett was just cruising this year in sx. The state of the competition in the 450 class doesnt look too good for the next 10 some odd years lol

In surprised nobody said anything about Harlan being a solid top 10 guy. Last year he was doing really damn good. Outside of pretty much masterpool he was one of the best true privateer guys out there.
I don’t know if Dylan Fernandez has factory suspension, but if he does or at least factory help for his suspension, he might be the shocker of the year

Anything can happen in motocross thank you. Talent is phenomenal and he’s a likable kid but accidents and injuries can happen at any time more often than not do.
To be fair, Jetson should let all the bikes get to the 2nd corner before starting. I'm praying they show futures racing. This was the 450 prediction show they wish they didn't have to do. It's Jetson against the scrubs this summer zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

JT...Webb on the Star Yamaha is not Webb on the factory Yamaha or the KTM. He was doing pretty good in the few races he rode last year till him and KTM parted ways.
Rooting for the Lawrence brothers, but think Justin Cooper can do well. And dont forget about Masterpool, he can finish top 5.
