Thank you SO much for making this step-by-step guide for this sanity testing ordeal, little cartoon dog! 🙏 All I did was copy your gear (except I used +5 instead of +6 Gold Anklet and I used Blood Sword) exactly and use Odin and the same VC to get 100 Agility and everything played out almost EXACTLY the way your screen did! There was slight variation in The water chick was beaten one turn later on my game but all in all the turn order lined up right for the 5 hit chain exactly and I completed all missions in one run! You rock dude and please continue to make these amazing video guides 🎉😁

Hey, thanks for the guide! It took me 17 tries but I finally managed to obtain all 5 stars. The character's position turns into a mess when Lucio one-shot Velis after using the eclipse attack but I managed to make it work by waiting one turn earlier on the healing spot. Hope all of you managed to do it!

Great guide, matching the AGI was pretty solid to get consistency in turn order. some RNG specifically Ice Mage dude going "north" and not south, followed by Perrene not using Motherly Something LB (the slash attack one) to get the chain. The key is having a similar AGI stat. I was able to complete all except the 5-chain. Bloodsword also adds a bit to survivability. I had a bit of variation on my play-through and was able to get to the last "boss" and multiple chances of having Lucio and Pereene turn order to align. I had a few angry throw-the-phone moments when I THOUGHT she did the chain, Then I realized i didn't change the tri-slasher: strike ability, so i been playing RNG for a bit to get it. pretty sure i should get a win

I swear I changed it… question I managed to complete the 5 hit but I didn’t complete all. My action count I assume includes “doing no action”. So I essentially have 20 turns to use Lucio?
@despawn7663 correct. In my video, I believe I used 17 turns on Lucio . This is a difficult quest, and I wish I could make an easier guide
The only problem I found with this guide is that it’s can’t be done without 100 AGI specifically. My Lucio AGI is 101, and it ruined the strategy because Velis and the fire archer then moved differently due to my Lucio being a bit faster.

Useful guide. Only worked for me up till turn 7 though. Velis went around back and my slightly higher agi led to me getting a turn right before doom finish off Ranan and through off the timing... but i was able to wing it from there. The Map becomes A LOT easier when allied NPC's start popping up to take the hate... Though i felt like i got REALLY lucky on the 5 chain. No real way to plan the timing and Just barely got it before the final hit
what did you do when velis is in your back its the same for me i have 101 agi so velis goes around my back
I usually play with no volume, so I had no idea Perrene was that annoying. Anyway, thanks for the awesome guide!

If velis goes the opposite way to chase you, you have a couple of points too many in AGI
Very nice guide. I'm struggling to keep Lucio alive, he fails to act in time to get Velis's first heal - it's like they increased the cast speed on Velis' heal.
I wonder if the game mechanics and all the updates have changed the way the AI works
something has changed since this video was made, with 99 or 100 AGL my Lucio laps jeume on the stairs after using fleet of foot, and if you move up she kills him even with hate down. 98 agl or less all causes velis's heal to go off to fast, and both are critical steps. theres probably a level of improvement to make this guide partially work (i think i saw a way by skipping a turn at the top of the stairs at 97agl), but unfortunately it no longer seems doable this way. Quick edit, I was able to get it to work with 98 agl. you lap velis before his turn and can move into position to get the heal. the rest can be improvised, but you need to be aggressive on the final enemy or you will lose the 20 turns mission

Yes, the Brutal is bring your whole team. I used Lucio, QMacherie, Resnick, BRHelena and Cloud.

Yes . Unless there's another tmr that gives hate down. But I don't know because there are too many TMR's .At least kiton has MOG shop shards for players to get
I didn't use Kitone's TMR because the guide went awry for me when their Velis went around the back instead of coming to the front. So I swapped out that TMR for some bells and managed to complete it.

@@Spicydonutwotv I think the problem was i overdid my agility at ~104 which meant after putting doom on Ranan, then waiting on the landing, i went down the steps before Velis' turn so he followed me by moving up instead of following Ranan. Should anyone else have that problem i'd recommend going after Velis at the back instead of Jeume / Perene at the front. Your Velis will appear when their Velis is defeated, and will keep your Ranan healed. If you leave their Velis at the back he might fight your Jeume and beat her, leaving you without a tank.
@@Spicydonutwotv True about her shards. I've been working on Macherie recently, so Kitone has been on the back burner.
At 3:13, my eclipse would do almost 1500 less than yours. My Lucio AD is just about 50 less. I'm not sure how to make up for that difference, so Velis survives and Ranan ends up getting focused. Everything just goes down from there. My plan is to get trust stones to give crit damage/penetration/damage limit. Any advice? 😅
That can help boost the damage. Also, element mastery can boost your stats if you build alot of light units .

It didn’t work. When I keep getting to turn 9 where I use my ultimate I keep hitting all 3 and not just the two you show. Then I get killed and can’t do the rest of the steps. Doesn’t work for me with the same stuff as you

This is so odd. I have exactly 100 Agi and the same turn order as you, yet Velis moves around the back instead of to the front. Not sure how to resolve this.
So after turn 6 . Velis is moving the other way? Is he standing in the same spot just curious
@@Spicydonutwotv Between fourth and fifth turn is where it goes wrong. Velis isn't two tiles behind and one tile to the left of Ranan. He's one tile further back, still on the stairs. That is what leads to him going around the back instead of the front.
I think this is because he uses Eternal Frost in your video, but he uses Ice Breaker in my game (Which has more range). I think this is because your Barrier Gold Anklet (Which I don't have, I only have a Critical one) gives you SPR, so he's more likely to use the spell that gives the SPR penetration buff. I'll try to raise my Lucio's SPR while keeping 100 Agi.

yeah you need the spr for him to not do his lb, and its weird, i tried it with less agi and for soome reason right after ranan dies, its lucios turn before jeumes. funny with 99 agi, but you have 100 and jeume goes before you.

His conditioning passive gives +1 move. Also, after you use the doom skill, it will give you another +1 move. This allows him to move 5 tiles
I have been trying this for months but my Lucio doesn't hit as hard as yours even though I have higher attack.
It's the Aigaion VC. I was wondering the same thing but I tried using it at 0 star level 40 and Ifrit 3 star. The damage increase is very noticeable.
The problem I'm having now is that Velis heals Ranan immediately instead of attacking Jeume pre-turn 10 >_

Even with agi VCs and agi trustones and Hermes/bells my agi is still at 96ish. I don’t have gold circlet. I did notice that Faith was at 50 though. Should help staying alive. Blood sword only absorbs 5%, enhancing will help with survivability too, but that mission’s even harder
I’ve cleared while doing tri striker x2 on ranard but Lucio died. Gonna try lower faith and see what works
Another thing that is out of my control when it comes to stats is my guild statute and light mastery. If you need to, you can farm circlet in the farplane

Yeah, that's a strange thing that happens. Some people say that they had to increase their agility more while others had to decrease it.
Where did you get the equipment you use?
The sword is from his own quest
Had 100 AGI as the video started, survived with 141 hp, but between turns 8 and 9 Velis moves next to Jeume and I can't use Scintillating Eclipse on him without moving near them.
Btw, what's the UR sword you are using?
It's his own sword. Also, people have tried raising his agility, and it seems to work. With so many updates to the game, it's possible the AI functionality is not the same as when I recorded the video
@@Spicydonutwotv It's possible. I didn't know about the sword. Focused on the final mission lol. Is the Lucio sword good? I was using the blood sword (not maxed), but I lack both damage and tankiness, so I decided to do the Sword quests, but I'm still dying on the final one against Astrius.
@timberkiller666 Blood Sword is good, but I think his sword can put out more damage, but the trade-off is that you can't get that self-healing
My cheap option is Tyrfing+5,farmable in unlimited equipment quests.
@@Spicydonutwotv So I just got the starlight sword, maxed it, but Velis still moves after attacking Ranan
Also, minus the sub vision card (I have it at 40), everything I use is the same, but I still notice a few different things like TP (You have 197 while I have 181), both my AP and attack are lower (172 and 1,079 compared to your 197 and 1,162). Seems they either nerfed some of Lucio's stats or I'm missing something like Truststones.
I must be getting unlucky, Perrene never seems to die correctly
It could be damage output from Lucio. Try using truststones if you need them
@@Spicydonutwotv It seems like Ranan is the problem moreso, the atk difference on Lucio is only 10 points. But fair play on tossing in an atk stone

Use truststones for agility. Make sure your armor doesn't give negative agility stats or just use gear that gives positive agility stats

It was esper resonance with Odin (lvl 1) it is now at lvl 10 and my agi boosted
