      Foley sells sockos at signings for like 20 bucks CAD. There's no way it's worth anything close to that, even if you could prove it came from a TV taping. The saturation is very high. I own one per different signing I have gone to.

      It ain't worth that much. It's not a unique or debut piece, it's just one of the dozens that appeared on TV. Offer even $1k and there'll be someone who'll come forward to sell theirs.

      You look at it this way...sometimes money cannot buy certain things, and in this case, the ability to pass on the love to his children his love for wrestling and to meet Mick Foley will be an experience that's probably worth more than any gold or silver money can buy.

      @Siva Scripted or not, some people ask for good money to return these items. You can't "script" whether someone wants to give it back for free or wants to sell it. Other parts of it -- sure -- you could script around whatever their original decision was and plan the shoot ahead of time.

    Mick once came to our local indys 1 year anniversary show. He watched every single match on the card from the curtain WHILE he finished making and signing over 500 Socko’s. Donated all the money to the local children’s hospital. The advice he gave me about ring work that night pales in comparison to the lesson I learned about humanity.

    Mad respect for the dude. What he asked for is something even Foley would cherish for the rest of his life. Knowing that spending time with someone's kids would mean the world to them, its something money cant buy, it means whatever you did out there was worth it. No hall of fame ring can give you that.

    this is a true wrestling fan. other sports claim to have passionate fan bases but nobody's fan base is more passionate then WWE fan base nobody. A fan would give a wrestler the shirt off his back if hit help them because the joy and pleasure most of these wrestler's brought us in our childhood is priceless

    That’s an incredible gesture that this guy did for Mick Foley. You can absolutely tell that he is a deeply passionate wrestling fan. Outside of the collectibles and memorabilia he has collected over the years..He did not even ask for a single cent for a treasured wrestling artifact from Foley’s career.

    This guy and his love for Wrestling Entertainment shone through as he could tell he could use the money, but instead he made a bargain deal to make priceless memories with his family.     I met Mick Foley at a Comic Con! He was a tad bit late for the signing but he made sure that every fan got their money's worth and he let me take more photos with him carrying a Cactus Jack BarbWired Bat over his head. Best experience of my life!

    Respect to the collector but all due respect to Mick for taking the time to meet his kids and continue to spread the love. I went to a wrestling show back in the day...had an opportunity to be backstage and didnt meet any wrestlers til Mick Foley greeted me himself and made sure i had an experience to remember. I have the t shirt til this day with his signature and many other legends around it including Sting and Kurt Angle. Thank you Foley!

    This dude is a legend. Money wasnt even an option to him. Same thing with the jake the snake episode with the snake bag. He would be the best collector to feature on this series who wasnt selfish like some of the others we have seen.
