Ok
Man kind always seemed to be real down to earth awesome guy.
How do we watch in the UK
These are not staged right?
“Money doesn’t buy what YOU’VE done for US.” When he said that to Mick Foley, a man who’s literally lost teeth, ear parts, and years of his life for us, the fans who mark out every time....I teared up. Thank you, Mick for all that you’ve done for us.
Have me goosebumps man. It's true, money can NEVER buy what they have done for us.
Same! This dude said to Mick what ever wrestling fan would want to say. Mick literally gave everything to entertain us.
This made me tear
Mick has also lost God knows how much blood in his matches over the years to
That was such a hard hitting statement cuz it's true I wasn't around when mick was wrestling but hearing stories and seeing old clips of him in the attitude era prove to hold weight
The guy turned down possibly 5-$7000 dollars just to have his family come over & meet the legend himself & spend time with them. Dude got mad class and got my full respect
Foley should have paid him something as well.
Foley sells sockos at signings for like 20 bucks CAD. There's no way it's worth anything close to that, even if you could prove it came from a TV taping. The saturation is very high. I own one per different signing I have gone to.
Yall can give me 5k tho
It ain't worth that much. It's not a unique or debut piece, it's just one of the dozens that appeared on TV. Offer even $1k and there'll be someone who'll come forward to sell theirs.
You look at it this way...sometimes money cannot buy certain things, and in this case, the ability to pass on the love to his children his love for wrestling and to meet Mick Foley will be an experience that's probably worth more than any gold or silver money can buy.
An evening with foley is more expensive
So cool, that the guy didn’t want money, and even cooler he wanted to share with his family, meeting and hanging out with Cactus Jack.
That's The Wrestling Community 4 Ya!
@@popchulo6200 hard to argue brother!!! Lmfao!
Dude love *
I LOVE IT
Its cuz a&e found these collectors and paid them for their appearance on the show esentially paying for the piece itsself.
That dude is such a good dad! he didn’t even think of money he could get from a billion dollar company he just wanted his kids to meet his childhood hero the very first thing was I gotta get my kids
I have some oceanfront beach property in Arizona that you can buy
I know
@@TheTenCentStory You think he got some cash from it?
@@TheTenCentStory people like you are whats wrong with the world
Exactly!
That’s class man. Giving away a high dollar original piece to the man who made it a high dollar original piece.
@Siva Scripted or not, some people ask for good money to return these items. You can't "script" whether someone wants to give it back for free or wants to sell it. Other parts of it -- sure -- you could script around whatever their original decision was and plan the shoot ahead of time.
This is so wholesome. Made my day seeing this man. Mankind is a real one.
Yeah he’s a wholesome dude. Super chill.
Mick once came to our local indys 1 year anniversary show. He watched every single match on the card from the curtain WHILE he finished making and signing over 500 Socko’s. Donated all the money to the local children’s hospital. The advice he gave me about ring work that night pales in comparison to the lesson I learned about humanity.
Thank you, Mick.
🥲that’s awesome!
Mad respect for the dude. What he asked for is something even Foley would cherish for the rest of his life. Knowing that spending time with someone's kids would mean the world to them, its something money cant buy, it means whatever you did out there was worth it. No hall of fame ring can give you that.
It was cool that this guy just wanted to hang out with Mick, but it was just as cool that mick seemed like he wanted to hang out with her m and his kids!
Seems like a hole house of good dudes
@@chrischilders6239 Mick Foley has a genuine love for fans and children. It's why he's written multiple children's books
How could you even ask for something more from Mick Foley. That was the best negotiation ever. Worth way more than money, he created a once in a lifetime experience
As the kids said "best night ever"
this is a true wrestling fan. other sports claim to have passionate fan bases but nobody's fan base is more passionate then WWE fan base nobody. A fan would give a wrestler the shirt off his back if hit help them because the joy and pleasure most of these wrestler's brought us in our childhood is priceless
Seriously though... Wwe fans have stuck with the company through its hardest times
Big facts
WRONG baseball when a player hits there first homerun a lot of fans give them the ball back free. Of course you get some that ask for money.
It’s not a sport sports don’t have fixed endings
@@bobbyhill1368 lol baseball your joking right lol. Wrestling fans have raise thousands of dollars to help retire wrestlers get surgery that need because they have no health care and your talking about giving a ball back. Stupid just stupid
that guy has REAL passion and respect for pro wrestling! 👏 stand up dude!
He’s actually a wrestler himself in training for WWE
@@sparechainge really?
That dude looks like the guy you saw in the front row of every ECW show
It prolly was lol
I watched Wrestlemania 14 recently and I'm pretty sure he's near ringside seats on the left. Looks just like him lol
I don't know. Every old school ECW fan remembers the guy in the straw hat first. That dude went to every wrestling show he possibly could
@@euranis its not trust me im from pa and been to many old ecw shows its not him lol
@@SpikeTCG he was right next to the guy they think this is
I bet hearing "best night everrrrr" from his daughter
made that father's whole year
Yep. Money can't buy that. Those are lifelong memories.
This collector guy has more passion and charisma than 90% of current WWE talent. WWE needs to hire this guy in some form or fashion...
100 % I though he was a wrestler himself
I wasn't sure about that guy but giving up the sock just to give his kids a chance to meet one of his idols is just pure.
As soon as the guy asked mick if he could just see his kids literally made my day what a genuine guy
The world needs more people like this gentleman here. This was very touching and wholesome.
Love and empathy.
I tip my 🧢 to the gentleman. A rarity in people when they prefer nostalgia over money. Respect!
I don’t know what’s better, the dad that turned down money for his kids to meet mick. Or mick being so up for it and having a good time with the kids.
Got to love mick foley.
Man that guy is so respectful, to turn down everything so that he could have a moment with his family meeting Mick and hanging out with him is awesome. That is class seriously huge respect and props
This man & Mick are cut from the same cloth. Great people. This was awesome
That’s an incredible gesture that this guy did for Mick Foley. You can absolutely tell that he is a deeply passionate wrestling fan. Outside of the collectibles and memorabilia he has collected over the years..He did not even ask for a single cent for a treasured wrestling artifact from Foley’s career.
Having met Mick Foley several times, he is really one of the most genuine people I've ever met.
maybe you did only meet mick once and are confusing the other times for mankind, dude love or cactus jack
Man this got me emotional a bit when the dude said he doesn't want any money " because money can't buy what you did for us fans" micks face you could tell he was blown away too because he knew what impact he had had on true fans. What a guy getting his kids to meet one of his wrestling heroes class act.
The dude running the GWC is the man!!!! He's on the right energy level!!!! When Nick Foley comes calling, and you donate a prized item like that to an epic official collection, you BECOME PART of the legend!!!!!!
Met Mr GWC at Battle in the Creek (Battle Creek, MI) wrestling tonight. Brought a little bit of his collection with him. Cool dude, mad respect for the game.
This collector is all class. WWE should reward him I'm some special way. ❤️
To me this whole snippet is priceless along with the entire episode. To be able to hang out with Mick Foley and have your children meet him and do the same and enjoy your time together that is priceless a true Class Act from both of the fathers
This guy is ALL CLASS to give Foley that Socko....Then for Foley to return the favor shows his Class......
Money can't buy memories and because of this show, Mr. GWC and his kids have this memory forever.
I wasn't a wrestling fan as a kid, but ad an adult, hearing the stories of these wrestlers, and knowing what they put themselves through, and how kind hearted they all are I've gained a lot of respect for them
these documentaries are absolutely brilliant. Humble thru and thru.
This actually put in tears. That was so sweet of him to give him Mr. Socko.
Mick foley is a Genius! He will forever be in the hearts of many fans across the world for his contribution to pro wrestling and how he kept reinventing himself !
I can honestly say that made me draw a few tears man... Mick is truly a good person ❤
Loads of respect for these guys. What a great story there. And he wasn’t wrong when he said no amount of money can do what Mick did for us. Love that. Long live Mick!
Kid: That’s you wrestling
Mick: yeah that’s me
Whole time getting beaten by undertaker lol
This was so heartwarming. Foley is an Icon. And the dude giving him the sock for free because of who he is, and then Foley with the kids. Just all around a heartwarming video. I'm glad I woke up to this :)
Watching the show this guy seems like the most humble out of the 3
He didn’t want money, he understands it means a lot to Foley, and wanted him to have it
He just wanted to give his kids the chance to meet his hero.
Mick is just an amazing human being!! So humble, so friendly.
Favorite wrestler by far!
This guy and his love for Wrestling Entertainment shone through as he could tell he could use the money, but instead he made a bargain deal to make priceless memories with his family. Very impressive. I really hope that the WWE remembers this man and finds ways to further compensate this man as he clearly is more than just a fan.
Been to an evening with Mick twice a couple of years back and he is genuinely the nicest guy you could ever meet. I felt like I was 10 years old again
Anyone else remember when he was with the Rock and made him one called Mr. Rocko?
He also had a socko with an afro when he wrestled Carlito
Rock N Sock 🧦 Connection 🙌🙌🙌
What a guy sure loves his kid respect ✊
That’s a real fan right there! ‘for what you’ve done for us fans’ is beyond money.....Respect brother!
Mick foley was always one of my favorites...after watching this I know why
"Best night ever!" I assure anyone would react like that if Mick Foley appeared in your house and stayed to watch his own matches. GWC is amazing, no doubt the highest amount of possible money would buy what Mick has done for fans, total legend.
Mick is probably the greatest of all the legends. He was willing to go much farther than anyone else for authenticity
So amazing to see how down your earth Mick really is. You read about him a lot, and how he is with the fans, but to capture it, just warms your heart 👍
This dude needs his own show. Awesome
That collector is a gentleman. True blue fan right there. Mick Foley is an incredible human being. So grateful that he is still here with us and being able to share his stories and meet fans. RESPECT!
His collection is insane
Now that's how you give back!!!💯
My dad would've taken the money and told me and my brother how he met Mick Foley FACTS 😂 This guy is a Real Fan BLESSINGS
Yo that was so dope man, dude is a true fan. The memories mean more than a dollar figure. Respect.
The WWE should SERIOUSLY consider opening up an Actual Professional Wrestling Museum.
Mick Foley's kindness, is wonderful. Thanks for being one hero we wouldn't be disappointed to meet.
Nothing but respect for the GWC.
I got to meet him a few times at local shows growing up, the coolest guy in the universe! Took time for all of us kids!
Respect to that man. Money cant buy happiness. I bet him and his kids will remember that for the rest of their life. Truly awesome
What an AMAZING experience folks! It was DEFF A HOLY FOLEY SITUATION STATION! I'll tell ya what, no amount of money can buy the feeling of being able to share my passion for wrestling and collecting with my family and the world! I was honored to give Mick back his Socko for exchange for the memories we all made that are PRICELESS! Can't wait to see more of these Awesome episodes! Is wrestling fans have been needing a show like this for years! Time to Turn Up from the Ground to the Ceiling cause that's how were feeling folks!
One Love to all y'all out there! 🤘🏻
I would have totally asked mick to draw him a new Socko to replace it as well.
Damm thats a great idea! Mick probably would've made it more personal like writing a "thank you GCE" with his signature. I would prefer to have that socko and knowing I gave the original socko back to mick foley
I think it would be better if Mick offered himself to draw a new socko for him instead of being asked
@@d0narroyo GWC
What an amazing guy. This is why even though I was only a casual fan of the classics, I still read Mick Foley’s book
I met Mick Foley at a Comic Con! He was a tad bit late for the signing but he made sure that every fan got their money's worth and he let me take more photos with him carrying a Cactus Jack BarbWired Bat over his head. Best experience of my life!
Great to Enzo all grown up saw the last time we saw him. Seriously, that guy is cool, I would like to visit the GWC
This man is a legend!!! And he was nice enough to let that mick guy in his house... How sweet of him.
THAT GUY IS ONE IN A MILLION , VERY CLASSY OF HIM MAN
Respect to the collector but all due respect to Mick for taking the time to meet his kids and continue to spread the love. I went to a wrestling show back in the day...had an opportunity to be backstage and didnt meet any wrestlers til Mick Foley greeted me himself and made sure i had an experience to remember. I have the t shirt til this day with his signature and many other legends around it including Sting and Kurt Angle. Thank you Foley!
ONCE AGAIN MICK FOLEY TO THE RESCUE! THE FACT HE SAID YES WITHOUT HESITATION AND MADE THAT MEMORIES FOR THAT FAMILY SHOWS YOU WHO HE IS!! 💯❤🏆🔥😎
I loved every minute of this video! Major props to gWc, what a great guy he is!
Get this dad an award 🥇 💪🏽
Mick Foley is a LEGEND!…and should be on a Mount Rushmore of wrestlers✊
Its nice to see Enzo found something to do
Lmao
Really loving this series! WWE has so much history, lots of epic stuff to choose from 😃
The collector guy is absolutely amazing with all the stuff he has
What an absolute legend Steve was for doing that! Fair play to Mick for sticking around to make the kids Day!
Mick foley is the perfect representation of the juxtaposition of what it is to be a human being. One of the sweetest human beings alive but has those demons he takes out in the ring.
That man was able to do something amazing and bring the man behind the mask to meet his kids. Wow. Great on Mick for being such a fantastic sport too.
Full respect right here. No money just time spent with his, and my idol, Mick Foley. Priceless moment that no amount of money can buy.
Mick Foley looks like he just came walking out the pawn stars store to go to this dude house
Fair play to this guy , great touch by giving it to kick for all he’s done for wrestling and not taking any money 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love wrestling and basketball and for those basketball fans who can understand this. Him watching a Mick Foley match with Mick Foley himself is like having your favorite basketball player in your home watching highlights of their career. It’s like a dream come true for this guy
What a bunch of humble dudes. This video made my day.
I think I am going to look up mankind winning the WWF title now. That was a heart warming moment
I watched this Monday
5:48 that was the most authentic reaction i have seen in my life
Absolutely amazing!! Can’t believe I haven’t heard of this. Thanks for throwing it up in front me YT!! Love these! Brings back so many memories!!!!!!!
Imagine a non-wrestling fan watching this thinking, "WTF, is he offering thousands to buy his own sock, from 20 years ago??"
Looking forward to the episode where Triple H tries to find his original shovel.
Buried more people than the undertaker 🤣😂😅
He's never put that down.
Ik this is a joke but he didnt really bury anyone.
@@cerebralassassin2185 Did you watch during 2003?
@@jammiedodger Been watching him since 93-94 and he still hasn't buried anyone.
This Flex you can show off to your friends. Being with Mick hanging out and watching wresting matches! A dream come true to a fan.
I have seen Mick once in my life when he came to Singapore, huge beefy guy. And he look just the same here.
Really humble and respectable individual.
Post Malone will look like Foley when he is 50
The Greatest Of All Time
This dude is a legend. Money wasnt even an option to him. Same thing with the jake the snake episode with the snake bag. He would be the best collector to feature on this series who wasnt selfish like some of the others we have seen.
Mick is awesome. He did a video for my two boys during the 2020 lockdown out of the goodness of his heart. Man is a legend
I have a authentic Rey Mysterio mask from when he did WCW. ONLY, AND ONLY thing I'd trade it for is Kane's Green DX mask. That's my goal piece.
Hey you...yes you, random person that I will never meet, I want to let you know that you are loved and deserving of everything! Today is going to be a great day 🙂❤️
Damm I need that thank you 🙏 god bless you
Stfu
Thank you
what do you mean never meet we live next door to eachother and say hi every morning lol
Thank you and Likewise, Psych! Gives CurlyHeadKen a stone cold stunner! >:-D
"My love for my kids and my love for wrestling"
Me too brother!!!
Seriously with how this fan has given priceless items for this show. Just give the man a lifetime ticket for all WWE events
