Seriously, you guys need a truck driver? Class a CDL never got so much as a ticket...hazmat certified so I can literally haul whatever!
Sgt is 72 years old and this man looks amazing for his age he always put a smile on face as a kid and still does today thank you for all the many memories Sgt! 🙂
Dude can still do the cobra clutch solidly
Cool
Oh wow he 72 now man I’m almost 37 and remember him beating warrior and then facing hogan at wm7
I SAID GOOD EVENING MAGGOTS! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Shepherd's Chapel Network !!!!!!! Pastor Murray is an Anointed Servant of GOD who teaches the Word of GOD with Authority!!!!!!!
Everyone remembers him for his accomplishments in the ring, but never forget, if it wasn't for him, Serpentor and the COBRA army would be running America right now
Sybau Indian scammer
Sgt. Slaughter gives me chills with his humble attitude
He seems like good dude!
Wasn’t ever in the military 🤷🏻
@@nl1817 Who cares
@@nl1817 did he say he was, in the video? It's his character. Do you tell people that the Undertaker that is not actually a dead man?
I saw him against Cesaro in 2012 even though he was older it was still cool to see him wrestle.
This guy was a real life G.I. Joe character
Indeed he was. That's why they actually made him one. You just couldn't deny the fact that he BELONGED on that team.
As a matter of fact gi joe made a chat just for him
Best cross promotion ever WWF and GI JOE!
@Jonny Pee its crazy, alot of people believed his gimmick. That's how good slaughter is
I still remember when Sarge killed Nemesis Enforcer in the “GI Joe” movie!
Slaughter was easily the most marketable wrestler at his time besides Hogan. Theh dude is an official GI Joe. That by itself is iconic
He was even in a cartoon like G.I. Joe.
He never actually served though. You'll notice that he took off the marines logo from the hat, just a hole left behind.
@@Fun-of4wq Chris Evans who plays Captain America never actually served either, he just plays a character. Doesn't affect marketing. None of the GI Joes are real either, they still sold merchandise.
You probably weren't alive at the time. No, he was never that big.
@@apostasiaelegcho5612 I know but they aren't using military symbols anymore. Its not PC to wear a marines symbol if you havent served, its called false valor.
Ah, old sergeant slaughter. HIGHLY underrated. I missed his prime but i LOVED him being around in attitude era. He's one of these guys I NEVER saw wrestle but I've ALWAYS known who he is. Like the rock or hulk. I never saw hulk wrestle till nwo invasion but I always knew who he was. That's an icon
I was at the Hogan/slaughter WrestleMania 7 I was going for slaughter
The camera operator who got the shot at 8:43 with the ref reflected in Sarge's mirrored aviators is a pure genius!
If it wasn't a coincidence, I 100% agree!
@MARVIN PETION k
Kevin Dunn you done it again
Def needed a raise
4:11 Lmfaoo Sarge's sending a message for HHH and Steph's anniversaries but always calling them maggots. 😂
Sarge is a Class Act. I loved seeing him get back together with Warrior before the Hall of Fame.
RIP Warrior
Don’t know if you know this but Ultimate Warrior is dead
@@andredangerfield6067 stupid troll? Or just stupid?
@@richardalbert7506 both
@@RepoManFan4Lyfe lol!👍
What could be more iconic than the Swagger Stick and the Campaign Cover 😎 Sarge giving those up so the fans can appreciate them makes me appreciate him even more
I would argue that apart from Hogan there was a point that Sgt Slaughter might have been just as popular in the 80s. Especially after the GI Joe character was adapted as well.
No.
That is how their legacy is live on after their long gone, They need to put this stuff in a wwe museum.
Remembering playing Here Comes The Pain, back on the ps2 and Seeing Sgt and Iron, that was Great Times!
I played that game in 04 and I still play that game lol xD
He was the best in person ...most respected person ever in my life...it was honor to shake his hand
I remember having a SGT Slaughter wrestling buddy, the big boss man, million dollar man, ultimate warrior, and Bret hart, such good times back then
Makes me appreciate Sgt. Slaughter more, didn’t ask for money like Lawler.
Agreed 👍
I mean… to be fair… the wwe has screwed a lot of its wrestlers… they can say this is “for the fans” but we don’t own it… they do… it’s tough… you could see how much Lawler struggled with the idea. It was all over his face. They kinda screwed his son… they fired his wife for doing nothing wrong but knowing the business and asking basic questions… idk.
To be honest though I mean you can understand why Lawler asked
They offered him the money and were more than happy to get his crown and cape. Lawler did absolutely nothing wrong.
I absolutely hated Sgt Slaughter as a kid but what a dude. One of the nicest guys going round. So genuine.
Most heels are nice in real life and the faces can be jerks.
Such a humble good human being
This show is absolutely amazing. I love watching these great people relive the amazing memories they've created.
When I was a kid, gi joe has a special mail in thing to get the sgt slaughter action figure. I was one of the only kids in my neighborhood to get one. Good memories
That would be worth money now!!
This is the kind of additional programming I wanna see from WWE..doesn't always have to be matches. Seeing the superstars interacting with each other and fans in the real world, taking these walks down memory lane. 11 year old me's heart is overjoyed
Sarge is great. He's really underappreciated.
I love how within the first minute and 20 seconds HHH is giving these legends the props they deserve.
That one oldman that always says:
"I got one more Muhthaphuka, come get it"
Slaughter and Sheik are legends. Also the best seller of the Stone Cold Stunner!!!
Man he slaughtered my heart for doing such a sweet thing for all the WWE fans. May your legacy live on strong!
Loved sarge. As a Vietnam vets son growing up, he was as close to an icon as you could get for me. How honorable to donate his memorabilia. DISMISSED!
- Maggot
Many don't know that sarge lost his nephew Army Ranger Cpl. Ben Kopp in Afganistan. I beleave it was in 3010. Anyone interested get the book Heart of a Ranger. It is the story of his nephew. Well worth the cost and read.
Awesome! I’m so happy to see this. I remember meeting Sgt for the first time at NYCC and I cosplayed as Undertaker. I slow walked passed him and didn’t know he was going to be there I stayed in character, turned my head and gave him a tip of the hat as respect. He gave me a salute in return. It was a great moment for me and I won’t forget it. What a nice guy, definitely deserves the most respect.
This show makes me cry every time. I feel like such a wrestling dork but reliving the history of the business gets me in the softest spot.
Hes so nice he makes me want to cry
I’ve seen people talk down on Sgt because he never was in the military and people felt offended by that character but for me personally he was an inspiration to people to want to join the military. He tackled that character with respect and to this day is one of my all time favorites and lead me to want to join the military. Now I’m a veteran and it’s so cool to see this pop up on my recommended feed
He knows what the business gave to him. He probably thought the least he can do is preserve the symbols of the success wrestling gave him.
Long live, Sarge!
So happy to see Slaughter doing well!
My absolute favorite GI JOe
I would have 2 agree with ya on that...🤘🏼🎸✌🏼
Had the chance to meet him at a signing awhile back, one of the nicest celebrities I’ve ever met
I've been watching these episodes back to back and let me tell you, the more iconic they are, the more likely they are to give away their stuff for free.
The Sarge is one-of-a-kind. Glad he's doing well.
god my dad would of loved this whole series im sad he passed a few years to soon to not see it. we grew up watching wrestling and he was a legit historian when it cames to all things wrestling. these videos really hit me in the feels in a good way. rip dad
I mean I didn't get to see him in action much, but when I did he left an impression I love SGT Slaughter and I love the Cobra Clutch as a move.
Loved Sgt Slaughter as a kid. So underrated. Great to see him getting recognition he deserves.
Funny, never ever thought of him as underrated....maybe underrated is just overused?????
I got to see him wrestle on Raw in 2012 even though it was a short match it was still cool seeing him wrestle.
Never served in the military, yet always is in character with his "2 tours in Nam"
What a class act, asked for nothing for em
Brought a tear to this old mans eyes... All these years and still pulling that emotion out of people! God bless you Sgt. Thank you for a such great memories!
Sergeant Slaughter. You were extremely much a part of my childhood and teen years. Thank you.
I'm not a member of the military but I'm saluting you sir. You deserve it. Thank you.
Sgt. Slaughter reminds me so much of my grandpa. He was a proud drill sgt himself.
SGT Slaughter you sir are my childhood hero. I am 43 years old and have 5 different Gijoe figures of you on my office desk. God bless you sir.!!
I met Mr Remus at an airport one time and he was very kind and happy to take a picture with me. God bless you sir.
10 Huatt !!! At Ease Maggots !!! I Loved How Sgt. Spoke More About The Iron Sheek Than HimSelf ... Now Your Disssmisssed !!! I Wonder If He Still Has The Camouflage Stretch Limo ??? Yeah I'm That Old ..
I met sgt slayghter multiple times once at an autograph signing when I was probably 6 and multiple times at airports he actually recognized me after the third time and saluted me when I was getting on the plane and he asked me how my son was doing. He’s a great guy
There’s something so nice and wholesome seeing Undertakers cross/symbol across the smack down fist
Sgt Slaughter was my introduction to wrestling as a kid. I loved GI Joe and that guy just reeled me right in lol.
I got to see him wrestle on Raw in 2012 even though it was a short match it was still cool seeing him wrestle.
Sgt Slaughter was my very first GI JOE action figure my mom bought me back in the 80s. I wanted a thundercat toy but she told me I bought u this instead. I still have it today.
This show is actually really cool and I hope there are a lot of seasons
I still giggle at how Serpentor has like 7% of Sgt Slaughter's DNA.
He was the man back in the days... Sgt. Was a great character in wrestling.
Mean GENE promo with SGT Slaughter had me in stitches when Sgt said Fresno California with a lisp lol.
week after week i remember theses guys now we are 50 yesrs older and we are still talking about the good old daysGOD BLESS YOU GUYS !!!!
Slaughter was such a brilliant character perfectly played.
Honestly I never was a wrestling fan but I'm loving this search for memorabilia
Keep the show going I absolutely love it
I wonder if they are going to find the bed pan that stone cold used on Vince macmahon.
That would be cool
Slaughter in 97, was still willing to take insane bumps.. especially for age, insane.. to help HHH and the likes to look like a million bucks.
That's a true legend of the business.
What a classy guy he is! If I was in his shoes I would have done the same thing and donated it to WWE. Money cannot buy a legend. And being a legend like the Sgt. will live forever. These other wrestlers need to take a cue from him what he just did donating his stuff so all of us fans can enjoy it forever.
Nice to see those came out of the collection for all the world to see man. Brings back memories!
It is amazing that he gave it without asking money unlike the others.
IMO Sarge is one of the top 5 or 10 performers in pro wrestling history. I hope he lives forever. I had no idea he lives in Burlington. Thats pretty close to me. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to meet my hero one day.
This guy was a part of my childhood that's unforgettable. Not just wrestling but I was prime 80s GI Joe generation. At ease maggots.
Growing up in the 70's and early 80's sgt.slaughter was my favorite wrestler I watched every match and even went to several matches, I met every star back then from sgt.slaughter, to Jimmy superfly snukka one of the absolute nicest guys I can remember meeting was rocky jonhnson, and the list goes on Ivan putski, iron Mike Sharpe, etc, greatest times of my life, it grew in to an empire over the years. Sgt. Slaughter will always be my favorite.
Great memories from a real icon and Legend thank you sir for entertaining us all. God bless!
Iv been on a trip down memory lane through all these wrestling videos makes me feel like a kid again
I really loved watching Sergeant Slaughter wrestle when I was a kid back in the 1980s, and I remember him being on on the cartoon "GI Joe" where they would feature him before and after a commercial break. Best years of my life 🙂
SGT Slaughter is a legend
He is a legend I watched a few of his matches and he is an amazing bloke that deserves everything but positive and he has a good heart for giving the mesuem his hat and stick for free
I sure hope all of these artifacts will be a museum some day.
It is an honor to be able to display beautiful pice of memorabilia Because we don't know how long we're gonna have sergeant Slaughter!!!!!! Love the history of the WWF at the time and it is awesome keep making more videos like this please!!!!!
I loved It That He Was Also Part Of Gi JOE
You know Sargeant Slaughter is badness when he's in the Gi Joe cartoon.🙂 Go Joe !!! We ❤ Sargeant Slaughter !!!
I'm reacting to these vids in an unexpected way, very emotional, just all the memories of watching wrestling with my dad I assume..anyhoo..love this stuff
The love and respect sarge has for the sheik is so commendable
I was so scared of dude back in the day but he's mad chill. Says alot about his mic skills
I remember that movie Sgt. Slaughter spoke of: "The D.I." (Drill Instructor). It's a fantastic movie. if you haven't seen it, it's worth watching.
I remember him in G.I Joe was one of my favorites growing up
Not a single penny. That's a true legend that wishes to keep his legend alive.
Sarge and the shiek was the most patriotic battle in wrestling history. And a testimony thank you sarge
My father worked in Stamford in the 80s and 90s pretty close to the WWE headquarters, because of that he met all the superstars and got a lot of memorabilia including one of slaughters infamous hats ! I still have it to this day
I love how he just gave them away unlike the other superstars
1 of the biggest legends ever , who doesn't know sgt slaughter, and so humble 👏👏🙏🙏
Loved watching sgt slaughter back in the 80s
Always was one of my favourite wrestlers and still is. What a guy :)
Such a cool guy he gave his 2 items for free. I wish I was born in that era to see him and others wrestle.
“ when I speak you shut ya mouth, who gave you permission to speak” 😂😂😎
Growing up in the 80s Sarge was my favorite wrestler. For one birthday my mom made for me a Sgt. Slaughter cake and used green food coloring on shredded coconut to do a camo decoration.
I still remember him from the original G.I. Joe cartoon. I met one of his fellow voice actors from the Sunbow version of the series, Peter Cullen. Cullen voiced Airborne, Zandar, Ramar and the Nemesis Enforcer in that series and the movie. Otherwise, I know him best as the voice of Optimus Prime in much of the Transformers franchise.
I loved the bootcamp match especially the promo before the match at the PPV
I loved loved loved Sgt Slaughter. I would LOVE to go around looking for that stuff. Amazing!
What a legend , Sarge is such a great guy ... I love this show, Triple H is such ana asset to WWE , in the Ring, now behind the scenes
I wanna see Triple and Shawn's face shield with wiper when Sgt Slaughter was talking to both of them in a certain segment
I grew up in a military family so his character hits home. Thank you for my childhood sir.
Wow that was sooo sweet of him to give up his hat and swagger stick for FREE like that! Good man
