  • A quick look inside the Roland Aira VT-3 . nothing much to see really but I end the video by trying out a few instruments through it and using it as an effects unit for the TR-8 and TB-3 and AX-Synth
    Link for my TB-3 and TR-8 videos.

    It's great to see someone smile and have a good time while playing with a new piece of gear. Just like you said, music is about having fun.

    Hello All. I have just had a copyright claim from a company called Dance-all-Day
    stating that I have breached their copyright in this video.
    so youtube has opened up a case where I have disputed as I cannot see where i have used someone else's work. I am not even told where the part is that has been breached.
    I have checked these people out and there are many other videos about them claiming copyright. theres even a video where they say E-Major is their property when played on a guitar.
    see Can Dance All Day Claim Copyright to the E Major Chord?
    also Copyright claim by Dance All Day
    this one is interesting productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/youtube/MacjP7A2Gwo
    just type Dance-all-Day copyright dispute on google and see the amount of people out there who are being claimed against by this company.
    the problem is youtube is very automated and some people are fighting back time after time against this company and getting nowhere. the company can place adverts on Your video and take the revenue if they claimed you are using their music.
    This is a video where i dismantle a brand new roland aira music instrument and demonstrate it after rebuilding it.
    this is a brand new Roland product under 4 weeks old from release
    I would like to know where and at what time in the video the claim is active please as I need this information. I would like to contact Roland music instrument corp when I seek Legal advice as to this claim so I can tell them their new product contains material that is owned by a german DJ music company.
    I have disputed this claim with CZcams as I have not used any music in the background owned by any artist. I have merely played the drum machine and bass machine on a product which has Just been released by Roland Aira. if those products contain samples that this company owns then I will take the matter up with Roland music instrument corp.
    Under the CZcams terms this company has a duty to manually review the video and I would like to know where the disputed part in my video is and advise me of their legal ownership please so I can seek legal advice.
    sorry for the Gripe but check out how many people this Dance all Day have claimed copyright infringement against.

      Welcome to the new trend. Copyrights won't kill music, lawyers will.
      More fodder for the 2nd civil war.
      Only this is making it a world war I suppose. lmao
      Citizens against corporations. That's my point.
      Aussi, US, doesn't matter. Except Canada.
      Or France. XD

      Don't worry about it if you are sure that it is your own content or creation. It is an automatic detection system that fails most of the time (in my case).
      Sometimes based on a piece of title or a few notes that are the same (or even sometimes completely wrong). "i send a claim back" with > completely made by myself from the ground up with no reference to another person's work. and ""music has only 7 notes"".
      Most of the time (like 95% for real!) the music added for the copyright claim is a very unknown artist, track or song i never even heard of. (I also add that). It always worked and the claim got deleted.

      Thankyou, It kinda puts me off loading up music, we only have 12 notes and every few notes you play will have been used in the past by someone else. I think copyright is ok if you make it obvious that you have ripped off someone else's work but just a few notes or similar drum rhythm should be ok.

      Reminds me of how Paul Hardcastle was sued by Mike Oldfield because apparently Hardcastle's famous 19 track steals notes from Tubular Bells. It's insane, but Oldfield ended up with a writing credit (and presumably some royalties) on later pressings of the record.

    and one bit I forgot to mention about the Dance-all-Day is their page that wants you to sell your music through them. see the comments about them here its quite upsetting to think they can move in and claim against so many peoples youtube videos. facebook.com/note.php?note_id=245616948831317

    Yeah, if no one has already said it, the latest update opened the gates for the VT3 to recieve midi control via USB

    • @g10118
      @g10118 Před 4 lety

      That makes sense, much like the expanded memory on the system 1. Was wondering why they bothered at all with USB if midi wasn't part of the plan.

    As for 14:29, if you acutally play a song, you got no (c) problems, as you perform you are an artist, and therefore no (c) voilation is done. But if you run a vinyl or CD track through it, which is not yours you do violate the (c) thing....
    I enjoyed 14:42 to the end the most! Thanx for your performance!

    hi Marcus do you repair things for a living and what area are you in

    • @markusfuller
      @markusfuller  Před 8 lety +3

      +JOHNNY BAGWASH Hi Johnny, I use to repair things but everyone wanted things repaired instantly and only for the price of the component replaced so I decided not to do repairs anymore. I do a few for myself on items that I have purchased from car boot sales. the problem is If I have someones item on my desk in pieces in a state of repair then I do not have time to repair my own items or make video's for youtube which is what I prefer to be doing. I get much more satisfaction in making a video than doing private work as the intention of the youtube channel is to try and encourage other people to have a go at repairing items themselves. I live in Brighton England. Best wishes from Markus.

      Hi Johnny. Sadly I passed the VT-3 & TR-8 on to get some funds towards the JD-XA. though the JD-XA has a vocoder type controller built into it. I have not tried that yet Hmm???.

  • @johnnybagwash2456

    hello mr Marcus how would a tr8 plug in via the mic socket

    • @markusfuller
      @markusfuller  Před 8 lety

      Hello Johnny, a jack lead from the left mono output of the TR8 and into the mic input of the VT3. start with volume quarter way on tr8 and mic input low on vt3 then bring up the input a little and keep it below clipping level. you can plug many instruments into the VT3 and use it as an effects unit.

    • @markusfuller
      @markusfuller  Před 8 lety

      +JOHNNY BAGWASH I think they are still at it, trying to con people out of their youtube advertising revenue. CZcams should keep an eye on them and ask for their proof of copyright. they seem to own every key on on a keyboard and every chord ever played. they must be raking in tons of money from other peoples hard work in the hope that people wont fight against them. when they are caught out they blame their computer for accidentally matching your music. just type in dance all day and see how many people they have tried to con.
