My daughter had a birthday and I wanted to make something unique. I decided to cut and engrave a leather hair barrett and luggage tags with her favorite giraffe logo on them. Here's how I did it.

Chromium-tanned leather (which is nearly anything that isn't vege-tan) gives off cyanide fumes when burned. Better have amazing ventilation. If you can smell it then your ventilation isn't amazing.

I’m not sure if you tried it but how long do you think it will take to engrave and cut 12 to 24 leather patches that are maybe 2 1/2 inches height and width?
