- My latest and greatest setup in the Man Cave. If you follow the video, you'll note that I can bypass the transit priority signal completely or have it cut short when the side street signal is green (diagonal arrow). If I don't push the button at all, the phasing will cycle through normally. The Polara Navigator pushbuttons are playing the standard Cuckoo sound alternating from each PBS. If I don't interrupt the main street signal at all, it will stay green and rest in walk for a couple of minutes before cycling through the other phases. Enjoy!

My city retired these countdown timers and changed them into other models RIP
CNTower Gun Yeah so did ours! They started it about a year and a half ago! I think they're made by "EDI".

Jim Gahn That's a lane control signal. It's for reversible lanes that travel in one direction in the morning rush hour and in the opposite direction for evening rush hour!
Kyle Miller I thought that's what that was. Pretty cool. I want message boards that say "yield to pedestrians 🛑to🚶♂️" a little ways away from me in St Petersburg Florida there are some of those in a few intersections that only turn on when a pedestrian makes a call.
where do you get the countdown timer and why is it 33 seconds long
I got the countdown timer from the scrap yard in my city. The city retired some old signals and LED modules so I picked some up. It's 33 seconds in this video because the circuit board that controls these lights has a "Don't Walk" time of 33 seconds. The countdown timer has "Walk" and "Don't Walk" wires like the "Hand/Man" signal. The timer will learn how many seconds it takes for the flashing hand to flash through its "Don't Walk" phase before the light turns red. Then it will display that countdown after the walking man changes to the flashing hand!
