- Another segment on the demolition of Eastfield Mall in Springfield MA. Not much remains aside from the slab and a small portion of the west end of the mall. Another week or so and it will be gone.

The area of the fountain court that’s missing a decent amount of tile, facing what’s left of of the mall. I have a whole target bag full of brick tiles from that exact area, explaining why that area is missing so much tile. If you would like one, feel free to ask! You have been providing us with the most detailed documentation of the demolition and so many of us appreciate what you do! Thank you!

I was there on Saturday, it was heartbreaking to see how much is gone. I have to organize 7 months worth of pictures and video of the mall and get it out there. Thank you so much for your time and effort. I'm sure by this weekend there won't be much left.....

@@RocketRobertsCan you think of a secure way for us to communicate outside of YT? I would love to see more of your footage and generally shoot the breeze about common interests. I have been traveling all over Massachusetts and Connecticut documenting malls, vintage retail, abandoned retail and other things of interest. I've also been collecting artifacts, press photos and ephemera as well.

Why were they so careful around the food court and that concrete structure and then ultimately take it down?
Not sure.
You know, if they buried this under 10 feet of dirt and abandoned it, a thousand years from now, some archeological dig would say "We think this is some kind of ancient temple. It looks destroyed like there was a battle. The tiles were some kind of processional road. We can make out a few letters of ancient text. And.....Lit.., Ol...N..y and J..Pen. The And.....Lit.. and Ol...N..y were in the same location. We believe one god was replaced by another."
