I love how this game goes like "we got the license for hundreds of original brand’s aftermarket body parts for customization" but didn’t licensed the cars.
Because 99% of car companis will not allow to use their cars for street racing, crashes and things like that.
Iirc nowadays car manufacturers are kinda privy about showing their brand in bad shape. That includes having their car appearing damaged in video games. That's why in basically most of the racing games, the damages are just dents and broken window
@@MultiCarter007 yeah i really dont understand them because allowing their cars to be in video games is basically kinda like advertising. some people will look at a real life car and drive it in the game and go, "damn, im gonna get this car".

all the above plus it's much harder and expensive to obtain a license from a car manufacturer, small indie devs either don't have money or patience or both for it

@@flti I used to play it a lot, was a better port than FH2 on 360, main issue was that it didn't receive the later updates and was pretty fugly but in my experience wasn't any glitchier than Xbox One version

The game really likes to launch cars in the air thanks to its bizarre physics.

Good thing in their newer game, Taxi Chaos, you have way more control of the vehicle, both on the ground, and midair, and much more polish, unfortunately it's only on consoles for now.
There is a sequel to this game, it's called "Super Street Racer" and exclusiv for the Nintendo Switch.
And it is really a sequel because there are completly new tracks, the game have no Multiplayer and the Game is called different.

I'll admit, the game isn't bad for what it is but making the mistake of buying new at $60 is definitely not worth it, wouldn't even say it's worth $40 in my opinion but regardless it still can provide some fun.

There are enough working shortcuts. You have to exactly follow the arrows not to flip offroad ;-)
