Very nice option. Thanks ETA!
Looks great and will be doing that next on my big box arcade setup.
Yeah and the playlist videos are so well done.
All I gotta say is ...
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ....I needed this.
Thanks! Good video, great new feature!
Appreciate it! :)
Is there a filter to automatically create a list of vertical games?
sweet mate
Can we disable playlists or Filter back to a non-playlist view? Choosing "Platform" filter on the navigator pane on the left still shows all the auto-populated playlists rather than the original view of just platforms without playlists. cool feature though!
Hope your wife is feeling better ETA!
Curious what the custom playlists (N64 love you created) look like in the BigBox view, you didn't show that, or I missed it. Thanks
I downloaded all these videos and I have these playlists showing Launchbox. They are not showing up in Big Box. Super frustrating. I have the premium version. What am I missing?
the custom playlists are awesome, but how can I import someone playlist?! I downloaded some from launchbox forum but could not find any options.
Sorry if you said in the video, but for the Final Burn Alpha, are you using the actually emu of that or the retroarch core for FBA?
How do you make games in a specific arcade playlist use retroarch but leave mame as the default for the rest of your arcade collection?
right click on the game you want . then click edit .change the emulator you want to use for that Rom.
I only get ADD / EDIT and DELETE when I right click ANY platform, including ARCADE...what am I missing...using v7.8....
When I run MAME by itself the graphics are HD but when I run it through Lauch Box/Big Box the graphics are very unclear. It’s very frustrating, is there a way to fix this?
I did this, and it is weird. Several generic categories are created, but empty...like "Beat em ups, Fighting, Racing, Flying Games". Also Sports Games, and Shooter Games only have 2 or 3 games in each. Those should have way more. Do I have to add them myself, or is there a way to have them auto filled? Thanks
I see an arcade category under platforms in LB but when im in bigbox I don't have an arcade section. Any idea how I get that back? I use to see it.
Better question...how can I see Arcade as my first option when I start bigbox mode?
Does this feature integrates Lightspeed: Ultra-Fast Mame Importer Tool into Launchbox? Also, I think this is a super awesome, time saving feature! But here's my story: I added my romset of MAME, ALL OF IT! more than 500Gb of ROMs and CHDs that Launchbox gracefully filtered and organized it in playlists, so how can I delete all the games that were not added? Do I need to re add the whole set selecting copy files to Retroarch's games folder? Is there an option to change the path of ROMs of a whole system? Thank you for your videos!
I like to have the arcade playlists appear under the arcade platform and not in the main menu how do i set that up ?
Fairly easy to do. You can right click > Edit the playlist, and click the positioning you want to see (you can have it appear in multiple places if you want). Use the Platform Categories filter to see your positioning.
Much easier to troubleshoot on the forums if you still run into issues: forums.launchbox-app.com/
can you remake lists to add new games?
yes you can or you can just add them by using export and adding new games to what playlist you want.
Iream and Nomco? ;D
do you guys help out libretro in terms of donation?
We haven't yet, but that's a good point; we should support them on Patreon. I'll go pledge. :)
I respect this.
I want to make my own playlists Double dragon, ninja games, fighters, zelda, mario, pokemon.
That'd be awesome! You should share them on the forums too Ryan. :)
How is Final Burn Alpha "so much simpler for you" ?
Is there a filter to automatically create a list of vertical games?
