Leatt Goggle Roll-Off Fitment Tutorial - Open The Canisters, Fit Film All You Need To Know

- See the best way to fit these canisters, open them, remove the lens, apply the roll-off film, mud strips and everything you need to know. We have a lot of experience with this after fitting 50 riders for Weston Beach Race last year!
You will note here we turn the sticker around on the film to roll back on the axle (or pin) as we've found that the best way, it may not be right for everyone, we're just trying to show the easiest and most effective way to set up these goggles from our experience.
Please be aware. I have Broken goggles trying to take apart the roll off system for cleaning. The canister covers are finger bleeding impossible to get off. The main roll of system will not release.
I cannot get the cover to come off my roller no matter how hard I push down and away with the 2 clips
Love it. I couldn't understand the instructions they came with so I found a video and everyone in the comments has the same problems I had hahahahahah awesome!
There is a solution. If yu get a nail file and file under the 2 clips on the main body this will create enough room for the clips to release. Once this is done they are a great Goggle and from experience the best roll off system out there. The roll offs perform much better than Oakley. - IMHO

Buyer beware. The clips to insert the film are not nearly as easy to open as this video portrays.
@Domination literally had to use a flat head screwdriver and pliers. These would be sick goggles without these trash clips, bro. Good luck.

I have spent hours trying to undo the clips for the canister covers. Bruised fingers, desperately trying to get them done before a race. A really poor design. Though when they are together they are one of the best roll off systems. 2 hour enduro race winter in wales in the mud and they worked perfectly to the finish.
What the fuck is that design i just nearly totalled mine getting these stupid rollers of i got the 5.5s with the stupid rollovers already fitted eventually got them off the beeds of sweat on my forehead trying to get them was laughable fucking shower of shite but they fit my helmet lovely look sweet and cant wait to get them brown in mud
Can I use these 92€ googles with no film? This is laughable, two hours now and this stupid system is impossible to open without damaging the cannister. And this would void the guarantee, right? Leatt, sorry this is a no-go for future purchases. Even if I make it eventually, I'm switching for another brand.
