How to Let Go of Your Old Life for a New One | cinematic poem

I am very nervous about sharing this, as it is my first cinematic poem. Poetry has always been a first love of mine, and now I want to connect visual expression with written expression. I wrote this poem during a time of transition in my life. Amidst all the changes, I keep hearing the advice, "Your new life is going to cost you your old one." When we yearn for something new, when we plead and beg for something different, it often comes at a cost. In my revised interpretation of this saying, the cost of a new life is heavier than the sacrifice made. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.
