I’d have bought a Samsung ring if it tracked blood pressure. All the newest rings do and cost half of what Samsung’s ring does. I have many Samsung devices, but this isn’t going to be one of them.
Okay apple might not do a ring, but the reasons she gives are silly - the number of sensors in a ring is nearly the same as a watch, and the finger is a much better location for biometric data that the front on a wrist! Temp, activity tracking, sleep date, steps, heart rate, even o2 sats can all be done via a ring, so suggesting that it’s about sensors and data collection is just not true

Sure, the ring wouldn't have all the features of the watch, but if it had enough features, they could still get Fitness+ subscribers from it.
Are you sure, because Aura ring is more accurate in sleep tracking. Besides why don't they combine the accuracy and small form factor into a single device instead of forcing a person to buy both. Not to mention wearing a watch to sleep is not comfortable at all but ring is ok. Zero innovation, more money laundering

I wish Apple offered a ring or another alternative for people who prefer wearing mechanical watches or, like me, dislike wearing watches but still want to track their sleep and other health metrics.
