against tes, g2 outdrafted them and outplayed them (g2 played very well AND tes didnt). today t1 looked well prepared and played good enough. g2 can beat anyone in the world but only if multiple factors go in their favor. there is still a gap or two between the east and the west, but g2 had a good tournament they can build upon. but lets be real, if you dont win lec or lcs in a very dominant fashion, which g2 did not (they had too many deficits they had to turn around to win the games) you cant compete against the east. in the end i was positively surprised by g2 this msi. top 4 is a success.

After watching MSI i'm more or less convinced G2 kinda sandbagged their early games in LEC to practice mid game macro on stage, it'd be unlikely that they we're a great early game team for the whole 2023 season, changed nothing and got shit at early all of the sudden in 2024 and at MSI they got good at early games again out of seemingly nowhere.

This T1 is the in the worst form they been in so far, Faker is having one of his worst tournament performance due to wrist injury and you guys still got smoked 3-0. Idk what to say anymore…
Dude, every player in t1 was selected from a massive talented pool, and then they have been a team for more than 2 years. And faker wasn’t worst at least in the series. Winning against them is not a cheap goal.
