Thanks for the advice! Loved the vid
I’ve been playing for nearly 10 years, always hovered around high diamond / master but never took the game seriously in terms of strats.
I know I’m past the 2 year mark, but I’m thinking of trying to actually study and see how far I can go. Probably too old now to go pro but who knows. Hopefully one day I can look back at this comment and see how far I’ve come. 😄

“You want to make sure you’re not toxic because these reputations follow you” right from the source 🤣 Great video man

This is a well done video, Solo! I think it's informative and important information for talented players that might be hesitant to becoming a pro.

Wish there was an open circuit that teams could compete in. The top end feels so gatekept with limited number of teams both in LCS and NACL.

Yeah I really do wish riot helped the tier 3 leagues a little more. It's cool that C9 teamed up with Blue Otter League, so hopefully that's a start of more grassroots orgs being mixed within the LCS ecosystem again

@@onetakehoovie5955 I agree and even if Riot stays away from it and give a good TO the ability to run a circuit, I think it would change so much. The barrier for entry is too high for even the lowest sanctioned league

Always been a fan Solo ☺️ Branding is definitely important. I remember you gained some points for me as a fan when you said you loved California Burritos lol

Interesting and informative. I’ll never go pro. But good luck to anyone who is trying!

My advice: at the end of the day its a video game, so just have fun.

So here is the thing about me, I have never truly wanted to climb to high elo. I think I am the only person who truly enjoys this game and I really don't want the hassle of high elo, Don't get me wrong playing in leagues and tourneys is peak league of legends. I think it gets to be a hassle when your high elo, constantly having to worry about so many thing the game becomes a chore, so I never tried. League is its own kind of fun to me and maybe one day I will push for challenger instead of staying in gold, would love to go pro, though i'd rather be a coach or a manager, my skills are better suited for that.

It's just solo queue. Solo queue is dogshit because League is a team based game and solo queue is not coordinated nor conducive to a healthy team environment.
Which is why removing Ranked 5s (flex queue is a joke) was a dumb idea.
