I’ve never heard Miller talk, but he’s actually funny as hell 😂
This man is straight LA .. I’m dying 🤣😭
For real, i mos def remember utahs run with him in march madness & totally was well aware of where he was and how he was doing throughout his career.....but i must of never seen an interview or nothing, cuz i never expected this personality from him. So cool to hear him tell his story. He was a great guest.
Same here. I wasn't expecting this voice.
I said the exact same thing...
Me either
Legend has it he still hasn’t missed a transition pull up middy 😂😂🔥🔥
Facts 😂
never saw him miss a floater neither lol
😆
He was a very underrated player in the league but HIGHLY respected from the players and from us fans also . 🙏🏾
Only underrated by the media! Not in L.A.
Facts
Mainly because where he went to college and played in the pros. But he was a dog
One of the most underrated PGs ever
i grew up on the same block as him & played for his aau when he played in portland . Him and my uncles are super close
I really really enjoyed this one. Never knew Andre was this funny or regular. He always looked so quiet. Brotha was a baller tho... and reliable. Respect.
He was hilarious. I would have never thought that
Exactly how I felt.
I didn’t even want to watch this episode because I thought he was quiet.
@@christopherg2761 Ditto!
Can I just say this is my favorite podcast now? Yall straight up leap frogged over 7 podcasts since I started listening 2 years ago.
@@christopherg2761 shutup
Oh my gosh Quentin and Darius ain't playing no games this season. We have been getting some great guests and great episodes 🔥🔥!
These niggaz on 🔥🔥🔥
Amen
#Facts
The consistency they coming too 🔥🔥🔥
Darius needs the extra cash to pay for his court case.
UNDERRATED STUD back in his playing days.
YESSSS
Those that know…big up!
He was an intelligent and fundamentally sound as a guard. I always respected his game and he lowkey could get a bucket!
And as tradition spurs picked him up when he was old as fuk
@@kmole91 absolutely
when it comes to just a Pure Hoop Podcast no on is even in the same lane as the gang keep killing it Q & D Miles
agreed! them other n*ggas started READING ADVERTISEMENTS!!!🤣🤣🤣
Him in Denver, he was so calm and collected every game! Old YMCA game and can’t nobody stop it! Love me Dre! Gotta get him in the Big 3
Andre Miller was one of my favorite PGs back in the day. I tried to emulate my game after him and J. Kidd when I was in middle and HS. This is actually the first time I've ever heard him speak lol.
Exactly on both points 😂😂
So basically u were slow and couldn’t jump lol J/K but not really. Dre Miller was awesome and his lack of real athleticism made it more impressive 😎👍🏾
@@clsupreme7408 I was actually pretty quick and athletic, I just liked big PGs that could see the floor, push the pace, distribute, and play defense.
Me too bro about first time hearing him. When I heard him and rashard Lewis fucked me up lol
His boisterous laugh after D's first question was the loudest I have ever heard him be.

Good looking out champ
Humble, quiet, great interview with an underrated star.
Only underrated by the media! Not in L.A.
I would have never thought Andre Miller would be this funny 😂 Him and Baron Davis got the same since of humor
That’s that Cali/LA demeanor lol
@@pericopinero1035 there also eastside of LA, both of em from damu hoods
Sense nigga. Sense. Smh.
Andre is a good dude. If you ask a man if he ever splurged and he says his splurge was giving his family money, you know his character. 💯
" I didn't traded for a Gatorade and a sandwich , I got traded for a legend" 😂
Dre touched on one of the main reasons I love basketball and just sports in general. The barriers that are broken down through relationships. Getting to know people who don’t look like you or share all the same life views as you do, and putting that all aside to accomplish a common goal was special. I still have life long friends from high school and college. If only we could get to this point as a society.
you mean leaving the block you grew up and touching grass?
come on now,
I didn’t realize how good this guy was until he played for my Sixers and I got to see him play regularly. All-time great as a distributor but he could get buckets when needed.
Andre Miller was a pillar of consistency on the court. Great interview!
I remember reading a news report he played 300+ straight games or something like that. Super durable and consistent.
After watching this...Andre Miller is one the dopest human beings on this earth...much respect...he's definitely my kind of people
People who know the game and know the NBA know Andre Miller was a cold boy
He ain't lying bout them Sundays back in the day! When football wasn't on you cutting that NBC game on right after dinner 😂
Going down
Andre Miller is like the funny uncle at the family reunion cracking jokes and shooting the shit lol. I would’ve never guessed he would be like that based on his demeanor on the court during his playing days. He’s a funny dude, one of my favorite interviews on the knuckleheads.
I went to that private school with him. He didn’t even play PG in HS. He couldn’t even dunk until his junior year…at the time some would say he wasn’t even the best player at the school, but, everybody knew he was different… bro was always doing something special on the court that would have you like…wow!!!
Sounds like Klay Thompson. Me and him the same year and he wasn’t even the best player on his team. He was just known as Mychal Thompson’s son .
Man I'm a long time viewer. This Andre Miller one is next to Kobe interview. This episode had everything you want. Extremely humble guy. Not angry or bitter. Just humble and hilarious! Rich and Miles felt the same way as me. I can tell. Excellent Job keep it up. One.
He might be the best Alley-Oops passer in history of the game.. appreciate this one, love hearing these stories..no scholarships, to College All American, to a decade plus in the L as more than a serviceable player. Respect. Need someone like Omar Cook on this next..
Yeah man I got Miller and J Kidd as best alley oop passers of all time
Gary Payton also
Can't leave out cp3 (lob city)
Andre Miller's attitude and demeanor is a whole vibe. great interview.
bruh he said when they left the house party, the pool was black im crying😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Miller is really a grateful man. very refreshing to hear the humble words and stories of this man. respect
first time I've ever heard this great point guard speak..
SHOUTS TO KNUCKLE HEADZ FOR THIS ONE!!
I apologize up front for the long comment:
I have a close friend who played at a small D1 college, played against Andre Miller when he was at Utah(college).
One night a few friends were watching a game, having a few drinks and out of nowhere, my homie starts talking about how strong Miller was and how he was the toughest player he ever played against. For years, even to this day… we will meet up and no matter who’s playing and what they are doing, someone will chime in and say…. “Yeah Yeah Yeah, hell with al that Andre Miller was the greatest player of all time. ~
Maybe it’s not as humorous to others, but I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw the thumbnail.
Shoutout to Dre Miller, definitely one of my favorite players and most definitely one of the most underrated players of his era!
keep the comments coming..just adds even more great context for us bball heads.
this is such a great story. me and my buddy love his 50 pt game, it’s like a mythical tale for us
i heard almost an exact story to yours except they were talking about Chauncey Billups, said he was like a rock solid, strong af skilled bully
My brother from another mother played on his team in high school Verbum Dei i rode with him an his mom every day home from practice! He taught me alot and always been humble and we won alot of games and championships together! Most underated pg in nba history and probably player! I Love my bro always great to be around!!
My dude, Andre Miller! Still a cool and humble guy! Played with him at Verb as freshmen! 💯
The best point guard in the last 20 years that no one talks about
this by far was one of the best interviews y’all have had. his personality and comfort with y’all shined. so many great stories and memories
Never heard AM talk but straight off the rip with the laugh 😂😂
Bruh had Q cracking up the whole interview 🤣
@@pericopinero1035 like for real caught off guard laughter haha
Man, I watched this joint 2x. Absolutely enjoyed Andre as a player, and now as just a real dude.
Big ups to Q& D for this one!
This was awesome, Andre Miller seems like a really good dude.
Glad you all had him on there and gave him a way to tell his own story - especially with him not being on social media, not many other avenues to hear from him unless we get into the skating rink circuit!
The Celtics for sure needed an Andre Miller type of PG against the Warriors.
Lol.🤣🤣 you are definitely right about that
I love Andre but is hard to play with a point guard who doesn't really have a depandable jump shot but at the same time is not great at attacking the rim.
Faaacts, thats literally what I told my boy while watching the game! Needed someone to just settle them down, no TOs and make easy pass to post! I was like damn!
@@armin38822 what he lacked in the scoring department, he would’ve made up for with his passing/playmaking ability. BOS was in dire need of a legit floor general lol
@@pericopinero1035 you know what, you might have a point...a team like the Celtics in 2022 could use a point guard like andre miller. Maybe not for the entire game, but off the bench sure
This one of The Best episodes yet! Never knew Dre was this Solid!
Dre Miller was no joke, very Underrated! Always remember that 50 Piece!
Dre sound like everybody favorite "what yall know about this thing called basketball/lemme get a shot young blood" uncle 😭😭😭😭😭
That's literally him. He'd pull young guys to the side and say "Come here. What do you see?" and he'd teach them the game
One of the most underrated PGs ever!!!!
Only underrated by the media! Not in L.A.
@@EliteSports217 facts LA folks KNOW
Andre Miller was the first NBA player to let me know the NBA is on another level.
I watched him at the Drew League. He walked in with a wrinkled white T, dropped his son to a lady on the sideline, walked straight on the court without stretching and proceeded to completely destroy everyone without sweating or jumping. Everybody else was more athletic and jumping out the gym and he made it seem like he was playing against children. The game ended, he walked off the court, grabbed his son and calmly walked out as if nothing happened. Respect pros!!!!!
He and Kidd were the best examples of a point GAWD to me. You weren't going to take them out of their rythym. But Andre, had something different in him. He was just cold man. So underrated and I love to see people like him get their just due. Even if it's only for a little while.
Edit: Q and Andre gave my boys that love today. Big Pistons fan, and the squad (core) from 03-08 were my favorites. Also, the Richard Pryor nickname is SPOT ON!
YEA HE couldn’t hold a bull ball bag compared to J.Kidd though
He has a coach’s personality and swagger
Not the fastest, or the most athletic but usually the smartest on the court. Would like to see him coaching in the league
“The pool was black” 😂😂😂😂 giving out $300k was nasty, but I feel him! Shout out the silent assassin Andre Miller!
wow
Q n D bring it every week!! My favorite podcast to watch and listen to.
This was a great episode...I always viewed Andre Miller as a Pros Pro. It was awesome learn a little about him.
It was Jersey Marbury. I was at the game. Marbury went off, but we still won. Thank you Chris Gatling.
The most beautiful thing about the internet is , it shows how connected we were before the net
Andre talks EXACTLY how I imagined. Lol. Cali Cool OG who could BALL. Underrated PG; very steady, consistent and reliable. Didn't need the flash either. The smart play was his flash. Salute to the OG and The Knuckleheads for giving Andre Miller his flowers.
Man I guess I’ve never thought about how he spoke but I’m surprised and he is hilarious!
Andre miller & Kevin Johnson never get the recognition they deserve
Super underrated. He used to be cooking on the CAVS
This why I love this platform .... I would have thought Miller was a square ass dude ...... shitttt is a really dude funny as hell ... 🤣
Fantastic interview. Darius is really good at the interviewing thing. Bravo, fellas. Show is dope, and it shows personalities that we never knew about. Andre is a cool dude.
Dre funny as hell lol. This dude gave out 300k to his family instead doing whatever with it says a lot about who he is as a human being. Love this podcast. The Pivot and Knuckleheads my top 2 rn 💪🏼🔥🔥
I have so much respect for for his approach to life. Even with all his success he genuinely is a regular person unchanged by the fame and money.
Hope you get Latrell Sprewell or Stephon Marbury on here some day. Good content
Sprewell was a killer!!! And would whoop the coach ass lol
It was like 2 sprewells....the bald head spreewell in Golden State and the Sprewell with braids in NY and Minn
@@trappedineuphoria3416 I like bald headed Sprewell, dunking and mean-muggin’ whoever’s guarding him. Braids Sprewell didn’t attack the basket as much and just had a nice little mid-range game
Bro they have been going so crazy with these interviews lately 🔥🔥🔥
Because Darius miles could possibly go to jail
Facts this might be the best season
We finally get the interview we’ve lowkey all been waiting on
I really thought Andre Miller would disappear after he retired but good to know he’s still doing well. 1st time also hearing him talk. Lol
Really enjoyed this interview! Shout out to Miller, he was a true definition of a Baller / Hooper
Andre Miller always played like a bigger guard…very smart point guard always added value to a team very underrated player 🫡‼️
This guy is so humble and low key..Respect
Dre Miller the Coolest interview I'd play with Dre any day. Q And D getting back to HoF interviews
Andre Miller was a solid player 16,000 points 8,000 assists and 15,000 steals in his career. He gave out 300,000 to his family making Sure everybody Eat.seems like a real humble & quiet type of dude. He puts me in the mind of the kid Trey styles was fighting in the Class room in The Movie "Boys in the Hood" the grown version. another dope episode Knuckle heads salute from Chicago #Dantana773
Aint no way a player accounts for 15k steals bruh
@@greg6963 probably meant 1,500
did he get that many steals, 1500?
1st time watching this. Miller is the most unexpected but perfect guest. I never thought anything of him except he can ball.
But he seem super cool and awesomely humble!
Andre is the best interview these guys have done. Didn’t know dude was this funny. I know guys loved playing with him.
This surprised me as one of the best interviews! I definitely didn't expect Dre to sound like a straight LA hood cat 😂
Much love to a guy who doesn't get another love!🙌🏿
I second that emotion! 👊🏾🙌🏾
the Professor!!! Very underrated PG, great interview fellas!
Only underrated by the media! Not in L.A.
32:10 had me crackin up 🤣🤣Andre Miller one of the most underrated PGs ever. I still remember his dunk out of no where against Denver when he was with Portland 💪🏼
One of THE BEST Knuckleheads Podcasts
Grew up a Nuggets fan, & I always enjoyed watching him. Great post-up game, great at steals, alley-oop passes, etc. Super underrated!!
Dre Was A Hell Of A Point Guard….Steady Guard That Was Always Consistently Good! And I Ain’t Know He Was Funny With The Delivery On How He Talks, Lol
This is one of my favorite interviews I luv Andre Millers game he never missed ah floater or midrange he is super underrated! But when he said he took out $300,000 for his family that’s stuff people you don’t ever hear..that made me like that brother even more! Shout out to miller good dude 🫡💯
Bro gave work his whole career, it’s funny listening to other PGs talk about how he’d post them up.
A.Miller...about time he gets some podcast love.
2 words Id use to describe A.M. when he came I'm a game...
"Dependable" & "consistent"
Lubinism
That triangle n 2 they ran on Vince and Antwan against NC in 98 was 💥💥💥....they shut the heels down
Dam they got the boy Dre in here! Super underrated I know this gone be a good one!
0:49 0:50 you know this episode will be special when this guy is laughing on the bust my ass question
Richard Pryor resemblance fo real lol He was a real point guard… Get Rod Strictly Business on here… Keep up the great work Q & D!!!
Oh damn I see it now and he sounds just like him lol
One of my favorite PGs of that time and a great interview. Knuckleheads best Sports Podcast out💯
Another great interview from knuckleheads.
I hopped with Dre at a gym called (sports and wellness) in Albuquerque New Mexico. I believe everything he said, he’s a humble man. Gotta love it.
He's has such a humble outlook on life and his time in the NBA. It's great to hear his story.
Andre Miller got Q cracking up lmao. His white person voice on point too. 😂
When i was young i was learning the game of basketball, after watching the superstars i humbled myself and patterned my game after Andre Miller, Boris Diaw and Toney Allen. After that my game flourished
I’d trade for Andre in 2k so much, thank you for having him!!
Miller is such a humble guy. Real dude.
Andre Miller dropping 52 on the Mavs as a Blazer was surreal. It was all veteran craft, dude barely got off the ground. Ridiculous.
czcams.com/video/etSJam5VgH8/video.html bro was sneaky athletic, just didn't want to dunk it all the time
I Remember When I Said He Was 1 Of The Best Point Guards In The League As A Kid And All My Older Brothers Laughed At Me......... And Now Fast Forward To Today I Nearly Win Every Sports Bet We Have So Now Whose The 1 Laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Helluva interview. Miller was always one of my favorite players. He's just a hooper. Period. Much respect
There best guest ever. So real and humbled. Great for the NBA
His post up game 🔥
I remember Andre dropping 60 points something crazy like that he started balling outta control outta no where
This is one of y'alls best interviews to date. I enjoyed every minute. Dre Miller is hilarious 😂
OMG! He killing me with that John Lucas impersonation💀💀💀
This my PG right here back in the day I thought he was the only brother that play for Utah 🤦🏿♂️😂😂
UNDERRATED
HE'LL BE THE BEST PURE PG
IM TODAY'S weak LEAGUE
Very humble rudder master. He put the ball where they liked it and could do something with it. That back dribble cross was signature. The nba is not real its a dream .
We called him Super Negro when he played for Utah. Triple double waiting to happen AND he played defense. Won me a couple dollars and a couple six packs in college in March Madness. Probably one of the best lob passers to ever play the game at the pro level. Might have to search out some highlights after this. Respect!
