@Young Young I didn’t choose my word right, corporates is too wide. I’m just based this in my personal experience and this is a very sensitive subject as we all know. For the past 18 years in my career as a software developer, I have witnessed a couple times. The difference in compensation was about 40% for one case, so I’m not sure I can agree that Asian is always the victims. Look at the difference here is not as high as I mentioned but it gives you an idea :

Lin a real one for talking about his life. The fact that Jackson falls asleep is hard for me to understand as Lin's story is a very interesting one to listen to.
Yeah this was one of my favorite episodes because Jeremy was so candid and he had great stories. If Jack is too tired to participate then he should have just let Matt do the interview cause he was clearly interested in what Jeremy had to say.

Jeremy Lin’s story is super important. His journey speaks a lot to self-belief, courage and mental wellness. I can only imagine all that he had to endure, so it's understandable that he would have developed some unrelenting fears. I applaud his candour and his determination. Never underestimate the power of your dreams.

Watched the whole interview. Big J Lin supporter. Always glad to hear from him and to see him tell his story. I think a marginalized component to his fame is him being a Christian nba player. When people hear him thank GOD they really believe he's thanking him and not just saying it just because or as a soundbite.
I don't really have advice for him. Who am I to give him some but what I will say is, it happened to you, Durant, this channel and countless others. People will switch up real quick. This interview is awesome. His Asian-American upbringing, the sacrifices his family made to support his basketball dreams, his Harvard experience, his games and encounters with so many basketball greats and finally his views on racism. The group (Jackson) really warmed up only like the last 20 mins - exactly what they were alluding to in the podcast about how important it is to take time to get to know perspectives from different races.

discovered this episode two years late….real talk i almost cried. it was bittersweet reliving the linsanity memories and hearing his rollercoaster of a story. matt barnes was incredible throughout the interview. i truly appreciated his affirmations while jeremy told his story and making him feel heard. as asian americans our stories often feel dismissed so thank you matt for listening.

I absolutely love the idea of a “All The Smoke Roundtable” or whatever you wanna call it. Just the idea of it and the potential conversations that could be had is very very exciting and intriguing. The more we can talk about each other’s cultures and educating each other and the world by telling our stories, it’s all part of changing the world and people’s perception/approach towards one another. We’re all humans, we all love hoops and that is a beautiful thing to connect over and spread love and cultural education. Bring it on, guys! Please make that segment a reality. Much love to all!

Despite being hated and underestimated constantly,. Jlin7's personality & process, people and fans from all over really gravitate towards him. It never really was his dazzling skills. He worked tremendously hard to gain his talents and his slow resilient grind to actually despite all of his tests failures trials and tribulations is deeply inspiring. , and his maturity to see his aspect and take all the negatives into making the most out of it, is amazing.
