loved the review! we've got two 935s for our professional environments and we absolutely swear by them. we got the same setup with padded divider and lid organizer, and couldn't agree more with your glowing review! subbed, keep up the great work 🤟
Excited for when you get to buying it! Funny enough, it kind of reignited a sense of adventure because the build quality just begs for it to be taken everywhere!
Nice video. I got the 935 with the lid organiser and foam inserts. Its a much better looking case than the pelicans. The best looking case in fact. I wish they have an option for just a laptop holder in the lid without the organiser pockets. That way I can put a creator laptop in there instead of an ultra light. That would be perfect. As of now, I'm thinking of removing the either the padded divider and storing my laptop in a neophren sleve and my photographic gear in padded camera containers like F-Stop ICUs. Or maybe even removing the lid organiser and keeping the padded dividers. That way I can keep my heavy creator laptop with sleve inside the lid. Or have longer lenses the protrude just a little out of the padded dividers.
I agree about the lid organizer! The pockets are kind of bulky and I usually don’t even use them lol. The great thing is the modularity of the case. I’ll have to check out the f stop ICUs. I’m not familiar with them.
@@KenCreates yea check them out and let me know what your experience is. I have some of their pouches and one of their icu. More importantly, my large creator laptop with neophren skin fits SNUGGLY into the 935 with the padded dividers removed. i.e. into an empty case. There is like zero movement breath-wise. It can of course shift length-wise inside the case and that's why I put other smaller pouches inside and use it like a regular luggage case. All that would be unnecessary if I could fit the laptop into the cover. That way I can still use the padded dividers. That would be ideal.
I feel bad for people who buy the pelican version of this and don’t know about the nanuk. This design is so much cleaner. That retractable handle is so much better than the flimsy ugly one on pelican.
I definitely agree! The attention to detail is insane and the durability is essentially the same. And yeah that retractable handle… what was pelican thinking?
BH photo had it for $200 on sale two days back with the padded divider and top lid organizer :). Just got delivered to me. Just need to set it up. Looks great so far.
I’m seriously thinking about getting this case but I’m going to have to check this in checked baggage since it’s too heavy for international travel, so wondering what you think about it surviving checked baggage. And!! Do you think my 5D with a grip will fit standing up? Almost 7” so would love your opinion. Thanks and great video.
I use a Manfrotto backpack but always had a urge to buy this case. My question is what about lighting and gimbal? My backpack holds everything I need: my tripod, gimbal, flash strobe, camera, 2 lenses, wireless mic and batteries. How do you carry all your gear to one location, any recommendations? I do photo and video work.
So I only use this case when I need to transport a lot of gear and if there is a safe place to keep it like a hotel room or a car trunk (and I’m in a place where people won’t break into my car). Otherwise, I usually use a large backpack like the peak design travel backpack and a smaller sling bag for photography work. The downside to a case like this one is the inability to tie a tripod on the outside of it although depending on the size, it might just fit inside. It just depends on your preferred workflow. A backpack is easy to carry everywhere. This case needs to be rolled or carried and placed in a spot where it’s out of the way. Do you usually have your pack on you while you work?
Very cool product..not that familiar with Nanuk...do they offer a smaller modular cube..you took the whole system out of the case..wondering if they have like a medium cube size inserts ..so lets say one side if free to put whatever else you may need? for said specific job/project....and the other half is the camera gear..just wondering that would be cool..
As far as I know, they don’t have a modular insert but that would be a really neat product that I’m sure people would need! To fit your needs, what I would do is only use half the foam insert and have one side completely empty. It does come with a divider that can span across the entire case

Thank you so much for your kind words!
Good choice on the machine, digging the Fuji system. Good man
Definitely adding this to my list of future purchases! Thanks for the video

What size laptop fits in the lid organiser ?

Nice. 200 is great price
The BandH version on sales did not include the wheels. I regret I did not purchase.

Great review! Looks like an awesome case. Question, how big of a laptop can you fit into that sleeve? Does it fit a MacBook Pro 16”?
I can’t find any spec sheet that would guarantee the fit but I have my 14” MacBook Pro and there’s plenty of room to spare
Do you think the laptop sleeve would fit a 16" makbook pro? or is this a 14" kinda size?
Do you think that my Z9 camerabody will fit standing up? (Asking as you had the batterygrip romoved from ur main rig)
My guess is that it likely won’t fit standing up. My 5D IV is a comfortable fit but it would definitely not fit with a grip.

@@KenCreates Oh yeah..that works as well!..haha
@@KenCreates oh I forgot to ask..can someone stand on it in a pinch if needed to?..how does it hold up to that?..lol
MINE IS JUST WAY BETTER U KOOK
