    You saved me a ton of money. Black plastic corrugated with teal foam. Looks great. I used 3m velcro (the grippy plastic type) to adhere my panels to the wall. I'm using it for a toolbox in the car and nothing moves an inch. Wonderful.

    I am looking for 3.7 cm Polyurethane Pad base foam for my HPRC camera case. I can’t find the right one. Could anyone help me with this please?

    Very nice. I wonder how one might fab the pins, without access to the cutting machine you showed. I guess bending snippets of old style coat hanger wire would work. That's pretty strong.

      I'd definately look for some thicker gauge wire. I'm not so sure coat hanger wires are rigid enough to keep everything in place. Could bend it using a couple of pliers :) hope this helps!

      Maybe some upholstery staples?

      You could just buy Trekpak pins for 10$.

      A year late, but I've seen folks use a paperclip that they cut in half

      Cotter pins should work.

    How do you keep the items from jostling around? The top of the items doesn't look supported much -- even with the top foam in place.

    • @KyleCWong
      @KyleCWong  Před rokem

      Same way you would do it with foam - just make sure it's a good fit so items don't move or pack some softer items in between.

    Great life hack! Genius! thanks for the share. i just picked up a Vault by pelican and was on the fence with going for the divider choice but I could'nt justify spending the extra mula for plastic and foam.

    I'm going to try this trick to turn a 36" duffel bag into custom lighting equipment bag. I hope it'll work

    You didn't have to double up the coroplast...

    I appreciate the effort that's gone into this, and also the fact that you were able to make a video out of it, but when you factor in time and effort spent on making these, and the convenience and quality/aesthetic of the Pelican version... I bet they aren't actually that expensive. I do agree that $160 + tax is too much, but right now everything in canada is absurdly expensive.
