In this video, Jasper from Fungi Academy explores the idea of Panspermia, the hypothesis that life exists throughout the Universe, distributed by space dust, meteoroids, asteroids, comets, and planetoids, as well as by spacecraft carrying unintended contamination by microorganisms. The Lichen and Fungi Experiment on the International Space Station has discovered just how durable some life can be in space. These new findings have birthed the hypothesis that life may not have started on earth at all. Fungi are shown to survive the vacuum of space, potentially for eons! They have the tools at their disposal to basically terraform a planet into a lush, thriving environment that could one day evolve into an organism like our ancestors. The fungi then created a compound that would help that organism develop its brain, consciousness, and therefore its technologies. This evolution comes with a trait, looking at the sky to see what's out there, our innate curiosity making us who we are. Fungal entheogens amplify this and before you know it, this organism it birthed is shooting rockets into space, rockets filled and covered with fungal spores, ready to colonize the rest of the galaxy.

Theory is fun and mind expanding.
The foundation of reality is much different that the critically-minded can imagine--- but I am a big fan of imagination.
True reality is a frightening occurance for most. Information is deceptive--- because it most often supports a theory. Empirical evidence, on the other hand, has implications beyond the human mind's ability to comprehend reality.
Lion's mane X Psilocybin mushrooms = the breakthrough. I too favor fungi. #IstandwithStamets

Mushrooms were around long before plants and are actually closer in origin to animals. They're amazing organisms that could solve many of the issues on this planet including pollution and mental health issues
Yeah they could. I believe what we know about mushrooms is probably a tiny fraction of what they're capable of.
the point to grasp is you are a mushroom
You are it and it is you, there is no separation
You grew you for a reason
its accepting that reason that seems to have sent a few men over the edge thousands and thousands of years ago
And those men decided to turn the world upside down via slavery
czcams.com/video/KmR9GglEf10/video.html
Actually you’re wrong it’s not a plant nor animal . Go research it’ll tell you that mushrooms are 70% just like human , caps on mushrooms is a head high just like our heads , the stems is the body and that give you body high just like how are human body is set up . Sorry I had to correct about the animal part since that’s false
Fake. If mushrooms could solve mental health issues, we’d all be geniuses right now
I always felt from the mushrooms that they had an extraterrestrial origin. Although I feel they are trying to teach us more about living correctly on this plant. Rather than wanting us to abandon it for space. I think they know we have a good home here and just want us to stop messing it up.
What? They are literally just a large Collection of fungi

Excellent video! All makes sense and I can attest that psychedelics have healing properties (when the user is ready). After years of addiction to alcohol, the first psychedelic trip I’ve had in years, during summer 2019 changed my experience greatly. Have lost 40lbs, my A1C is in a healthy range, have saved more money than my entire 15 years prior, am making music, went back to school for music, built a meditation practice, reconnected with my family, and feel peace regardless of this crazy world. It wasn’t “the psychedelics who ‘did it’” it was the combination of a ready human and a psychedelic experience reflecting on my current dissatisfaction with my life, and a commitment to change behavior. There are thousands, maybe millions of stories like the one I just told, so let’s return to the intelligence encoded in these compounds on a larger scale. It’s happening and I am grateful :)
Psychedelics helped me with various forms of mental illnesses that no person and no pharmaceutical drug could ever do. I also believe there is intelligence in the compounds they seem to know what works for healing.

I’m 100% onboard with this theory. There’s lots of geological evidence backing this also I think. Clearly mushrooms are controlling the entire ecosystem. Given our poor understanding of consciousness I believe it’s quite possible that mycelium are part of a vast superconscious organism growing and spreading throughout the cosmos. It’s absolutely fascinating to think about!

I really appreciate that you actually say when you personally think something and when something is fact, it really helps with the credibility and actually learning instead of just being clickbait and headlines
Many moons ago (I'm a child of the 60s), after a good rain in South Texas or Louisiana, we'd gather Psilocybin mushrooms from cow turds in pastures all over the place out in the country. The best I found were in fields where a person raised and trained racehorses; think of the high-powered grain fed to those horses; excellent fertilizer for the mushrooms; they were not only huge but also powerful. We'd do a few that night if it was on the weekend, but they're easier to consume if dried, made into teas, or mixed with juices. Doing them fresh is difficult because of the slime and spores. I don't care how much Tang or whatever you put in the mixture; it will gag you.
The effect is mixed depending on strength and frame of mind, with the frame of mind being the most crucial aspect; it's a lot like real LSD in this way, don't do it in the wrong frame of mind, especially if you're having mental problems. This is what a "bad trip" is all about. You don't want to go there; been there, done that, please take my word. That being said, it is a beautiful experience, and it gives one a better understanding of life in general if you can let go of hangups and doubts. It lasts for hours so prepare to spend the time alone or with others where you cannot be disturbed; that can be a bummer. When you finally do fall asleep, you'll have beautiful dreams; at least I do.
Bad trips are trips that teach you what you need to change within yourself. Peace of mind within one is salvation. Learn to understand your mind is simply your conscience, you, your soul makes those decisions on which thoughts are good or bad. Heaven is within you.

Muraresku's book is a wonderful read.
It's amazing how you can understand large complicated systems after you have been introduced to mushrooms, it truly is nothing short of supernatural, but it's like remodeling your house with a sledgehammer and ending up with a flying boat when the construction is done. It's not a pretty process and you would think that people would tell you that it takes months before you get used to it and even out. In a perfect world I would say it's better to stay where you are but unfortunately it's not a bad idea to be awake. It's really a hard call. I don't think we need everyone to wake up, but we definitely need enough people awake to protect the ones that are asleep. Mostly just protect them from themselves and help them to realize that they need to find a road that will leave them with some way to live when that hard awakening comes.
What awakening are you talking about? I've used psychedelics, and tell me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you look down somewhat on those who are "asleep" and somehow they're not going to handle hardship or new information? New paradigms or something?
Maybe I'm not getting you here. I think it's fine if people don't want to take mushrooms.

LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself
This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Im still wondering the origin of life on that first planet. And why would it begin there independently and not on earth? In Chernobyl they found fungus living off the radiation shut off from the rest of the world. Psychedelics may boost curiosity but wherever there is energy, life finds a way.

Being able to hold the philosophical view that we will be forever denied specific knowledge about a period or events within that period is not a direct challenge to human intelligence or knowledge - we just don't know, it ain't personal, or species-limiting, we can never know and any guesses are best discussed with that always in mind. Growing the fungi leads to a much deeper appreciation for what they give us. There are so many beneficial fungi! In fact WE are all colonies of myriad organisms, including several fungi and microbial life forms. We could not exist without them.
@painmt651 We couldnt exist without algae or moss either so why is nobody going stark fuck crazy over them?
Interesting theory. I always wondered if psychedelics were the key to breaking or remolding the prism of our conscious perspective but this theory could imply it's being replaced with another. I for one welcome our fungal overlords. I wonder how much of our microbiome is altered through this process and if that is the reason we gravitate toward fermented products.
#BinauralBeats are better?
And/or to facillitate #biokenisis?
@TheSapphireLeo Someones never tried psychedelics...
@clarkey661 The relationship with us and yeast is an interesting one, and our relationship with certain species of ergot aswell (how lsd is made, and in the past how communities have accidentally baked psychedelic bread and baisically had whole grain stores infected with psychoactive fungus.
The thing with yeast is it is everywhere in nature, many flowers are coated in a natural yeast, for example if you take elderflowers and ferment them with water, that is how champagne is made, the flowers have the yeast naturally to begin fermentation, so it is a useful organism that is widely utilised in nature, and us using it is somewhat predicable, given the fact we store and produce food and are bound to ferment things by accident and discover the properties. I suppose what im trying to say is that yeast and humanity were bound to partner up, just based on our habits of storing food, let alone our proclivity for substance use. Our earliest ancestors would have been mostly fruitatarians, and eating fermented fruit was not uncommon, leading to an extraordinary tolerance to alchohol in our species, as it is much more deadly to other animals besides us, this in itself has set us up for a relationship with yeast and fermentation, and this is mainly due to fruit trees and not necessarily because any fungi was involved, but fruit eating apes and monkeys will eat mushrooms and insects alot more than youd imagine aswell.
Great video! An interesting idea to think about!

Brilliantly done, beautifully drawn as always.
Nice drawings. A major draw back of this theory is that fungi as not at the base of the phylogenetic tree. i.e. they are not closer to the last universal common ancestor (LUCA) than other organisms. Fungi and animals share a common ancestor which is descendant from a common eukaryotic ancestor. If pan-spermia is correct then the ejected microbe would most likely be a forerunner of bacteria and archaea. Cheers!

Why are the spores so perfectly designed to survive the vacuum of space? Also even though they are closer relation to animals than plants the spreading of spores using surrounding environmental factors to find a viable location for further growth and reproduction is definitely a stark similarity to trees and plants, at a minimum they are a big clue that we are on the right track to finding the original organism by looking into the origins of fungi.
Finally, the comment i was looking for. Fungi is always credited for terraforming earth...What about algae and moss? They were really important too lol, nobody sensationalises those lmfao
Your videos and artistry is absolutely brilliant! Thanks!

Man, once you've seen beneath the veil of the simulation, you inherently feel some intuition that leaves you with an insight similar to this...or so I've heard ;)
Mushrooms could be considered aliens themselves. They’re neither plant nor animal… maybe they’re using us but i think it’s a symbiotic relationship
Some of them have magical powers. Respect for these fungi. We know very little but we are full of ourselves. Not good enough to pass the test......
Or they are the planet and we are the microorganisms relatively
We are much more closely related to mushrooms when compared to plants
Lots of stuff is neither plant nor animal.
there's a lot more life than plant and animal. We share a more recent common ancestor with fungi than plants
SPECTACULAR. Thank you.

Saying that a fungus might be from space just because it survives there is similar to trying a t-shirt from a shop and concluding that it is mine because it suits me. What about the fact that it was taken from here in first place?
The fella is in to shrooms so don't expect anything he says to make sense
What if the T-shirt shop was your local thrift store “Ross” and you happen to stumble on to something that you previously owned but had forgotten?
The hypothesis of fungi spreading life to earth is quite a stretch, as less complex organisms such as procaryots and archaea exist...
Yeah. I wanna believe this stuff but so much of it is a stretch.
Its a stretch to say it started life here, a monumental one, less so to say that the spores themselves may have come from somewhere else at one time. The earth was being terraformed by algea and plants, but fungi fit neatly in and facilitated everything, that much is demonstrated. Becoming symbiotic organisms with the algae to create lichen etc. now that is something we should be looking at. How often does one organism incorporate itself into another? They say the mitochondria of the cell had a similar thing happen to it. Id say that yes, fungi starting life on the llanet is sensationalist BS, but it certainly did help engineer the complexity we see in the world around us
This video blew my mind 🤯
Omg this video fits my research! It’s all in my book, now to prove stars are conscious:)
Well played story, thanks for the episode. Great timing for New Zealand, cooling off, season on.
Fungi exists in a certain section of the circle of life. This section requires other life (in any form, ie: micro) by absorbing dissolved molecules. Fungi don't have photosynthesis. They live off organic (living) molecules. They are more closely related to animals, than plants. Meaning, for fungi to sustain long enough to evolve, there would have to be life on the planet prior to its arrival to get its nutrients from. Forms of Fungi are likely to exist on any planet that has life, but it comes at a certain point due to its niche that makes it so successful (decomposing molecules which would otherwise be unused). What we know of Fungi today, it would always come after other forms of life have existed and died for decomposition to be needed, making it not possible to ever be the first. If life did come from Fungi spores and started life on Earth, it wouldn't of been Fungi, but whatever organism caught a ride within the fungi itself. These organisms could have transported numerous ways, making the suggestion that fungi spores useless. These organisms traveling on just the rock itself is more likely.
Urines
I think a definite sudden introduction from a not of this solar system rock introduced mitochondria and from those single cellular organisms they started capturing more nutrients in the ocean by raising the surface area via joining, until they made networks large enough to start supporting different roles that led to multi cellular organisms,
@Dilbergg theres fungi that feed of chemicals, radiation, and minerals aswell, there are old rocks with moulds on the simply digesting the rock, wouldnt be able to tell you what it was but it was certainly living off of non organic material. Assuming all fungi can only rely on organic material is a pretty silly assumption to make really, Especially when fungi has always teamed up with photosynthetic algae and such to, yes, live on all kinds of surfaces, organic and non organic...But, fungi dosent predate this algae, more importantly, and therein lies the answer...
Amazing!
Love this video!!!
While tripping on mushrooms one time I thought I could feel mushrooms intentions which are to help us live a peaceful and loving life through an almost symbiotic relationship via tripping. We eat magic mushrooms, we have good experiences and tell our friends/family. The process continues and more people consume mushrooms until its everywhere. Very fungal in idea, but from a more positive origin compared to that of mold etc
Or with declining birth rates and increasing rates for mushrooms= they will eventually take over again. Its evolution a fight for the top…..Hopefully we have a common enemy with Fungi that they can help us defeat?
What about us literally converting the planet into more of that particular mushroom genus's preferred habitat, and us intensively farming the animals thst produce the fungi's substrate. Because thats the trade off...
@sirus312 the common enemy at this point is waste and excess, fungi could contribute to our rampant pollution by solving some if its faucets. Toxic farm waste? why dump it in the rivers, its fungus food. No but we dump it anyway
If some mushrooms are there to help, why are some lethal to humans simultaneously? Is it simply the duality of nature on display, or is it deeper than that.
I also wondered about this.
Great video! Keep it up
That was amazing man
I agree that something, possibly mushrooms, activated consciousness in humans, but I am not thinking that the purpose of this was to get to space... I am unsure of the purpose actually, but something turned us on, the question is why? Earth was a survival based planet, but now we are self aware and exist for more than just survival. We have become aware, conscious, for a reason. I wish to discover this reason. There is a reason we are not brain dead like a fish. We have this awareness for a reason.
Nope, humans were conscious 7 million years.
And hell, our fish ancestors that were still in the oceans 400 million years ago.
Your dog and cat have more self awareness than you think
@@codeine69 agreed. A different sort of self awareness than you or I have. The sort that we can not comprehend in our human state of being.
Panspermia is a theory based on necessity because we are finding that there isn’t enough geological time for current life to have evolved on this planet. But where did the seeding come from and how long did it take to evolve at its origin?
Do you see the problem? This solution only intensifies the already staggering odds against life because it compounds bigger problems into a smaller solution.
Not enough time to evolve???????
*4.6 Billion Years*
@@jay.u I know.
Excellent. Thank you.
Absolutely enthralling 🤩
That Francis Crick story is not true. I love After Skool, and you guys are normally on POINT with he videos and titles and stories, but this one you done goofed. Francis Crick was under no such influence when his TEAM, supported by Rosalind Franklin’s work, applied the rules they knew about nucleotide base pairings with the mathematical theories of X-ray diffraction, and a helical structure was the result. He was not given the structure of life in a vision on acid, and there is no supporting evidence to say he ever even did acid before discovering it in 1953, although he most certainly did following and later in life.
Those who propose fantasy have no room for rational facts in their dreamy meanderings.
All of this is true. Except the part about evolution of course!
We are individual pieces of the consciousness of our creator. Our mother/father, this planet. We are here to enjoy all it's beauty, with minimal impact upon it. Much love, light, and knowledge from this heart to yours 💜💜💜
Speaking of mushrooms... 🙄
@@psifiusc are you implying Carl is a drug user?
@@FLiPtHeSWI7CH sounds like it
haha minimal impact on it what a laugh
For anyone interested, psychedelic species or mushrooms grow in every state, province and continent in the world. There's a list on shroomery, if you'd like to see which species occur naturally near you
My neighbor lost his wife and job cuz of those
@@SpeedKing.. a serendipitous event, I'm sure 💚
Hard to find. Easier to cultivate.
@@kdavis4910 I've done both but prefer finding them when I'm also out foraging for food. I live in my motorhome in the woods so there's many advantages to forage as opposed to cultivating 💚
Awesome video! Although I have to say as having read the immortality key, there is no concrete evidence that the kukeon actually contained ergot
As someone who has dealt with moulds and fungi as part of hobbies etc, the grains etc were probably infected with something, unless they were made in a lab of course
Amazing Video!!! ❤🍄
Fantastic presentation! 🍄
Anyone who has ever ate high dose psilocybin, understands these things deeply.
Or your just so high u think you do lol but has it really revealed life?
@@cthulhupoe yes it has, i have made a playlist on my channel called insight if you go to it, with 100+ videos of things i resonate with from my experiences. Couldn’t hurt to listen to some of them!

Hence the very reason I've been consuming Mushroom Supplements daily for multiple years. There's an interesting part in the Bible that explains mushrooms. Made me laugh when I read that part. Life is fun, guys! 😆
Shortly the fungi will have their revenge.
@@blueskies1237 O_O oh fuck
what’s the bible verse?
What verse was it?
Read exodus 16 don’t wanna lead anyone wrong and not saying this “manna” was a mushroom but if you read this chapter you can make your own assumptions
💜🍄 Wonderful work! Thank you. 🍄💛
Awesome!
If one type of mushroom can survive in space for roughly 18 months does that mean we are roughly that far away from another life form?
