It really does. There's a place for dramatic lighting to be sure, but not typically in technical videos.

Yasou, Peter! You never cease to amaze with your professionalism and ingenuity! I, as a professional videographer, will say that the idea is very good, but it is advisable to lubricate the rubbing parts of the rotating mechanism with a thick damping lubricant so that there will be much less jerking during movement!👍😊

Thanks Vadim! That's a good idea, I can use some paraffin wax.
What do you think about adding something like a spring, or hydraulic strut, to have something to pull against, like an automotive shock absorber?

You can use a spring, Peter! I would try a thick silicone damper grease with a viscosity of 6000 or higher!@@asbcustom

Yes, the times I've nearly passed-out trying to watch a very wobbly video of something I'm interested in. :D
