The "Bathroom screaming" scene was the best acting I've seen in a while. And people say Cage can't act anymore.

Here's a great analysis of Cage's acting style - czcams.com/video/s8IfDNHsCLE/video.html He's strange, he's over the top, he seems crazy even, but he's an artist.

"nic cage is great in great films and indispensable in bad films"

I mention in this video review how that scene is comparable to the great Jeckyll/Hyde transformation scenes. We witness him being lost in grief, and becoming the wounded animal that will seek revenge for the rest of the film: czcams.com/video/sjr9aPYLpSw/video.html

People said the first half of this movie is too slow. Boring, even. But I think it's the best parts of the movie because it shows this very wholesome couple living almost in a dreamy fantasy despite all the bad things that happened in their past. They had each other. I loved that.
Which makes the second half of the movie feel upsetting to watch because Mandy and Red's lives were destroyed by that cult. The action scenes could be better. The set where Red does the chainsaw fight looked like an ordinary logging town. And the Black Skulls were almost too easily defeated despite their reputation of being a deadly force to anyone they encounter.
But the music is perfectly done. No complaints. It's sad that it would be the last we hear from Johann. RIP 🙏

I think nearly ~100 of these views are from me since you posted this. Keep coming back to it over and over. Have to admit didn't much care for the film overall, but this soundtrack is something else. Mr. Jóhannsson is truly missed - still so weird and sad he's gone at such a relatively young age. And thank you @Ale Xey for continuously posting these OST's. Some outstanding one's you've posted over the years, and continue to post and share. It's greatly appreciated!
(Side note...do you have a personal favorite OST above all? Just curious. The Fountain OST is still my all-time favorite)

@@navigator_g fuck you. Nothing wrong with Wouter honoring the magnificent talent that was lost in Jóhann. An incredibly artist taken far, far too early. Hope he’s at peace somewhere
