    Ino's kit is interesting Lore wise. She was the last artificial blade by Soosoo. I feel the creation of Ino came when he knew she would be alone. Her kit makes it so she gets stronger the more she gets knocked down allowing her to turn the tables in battles. It's a bit sad when you realize he designed her to be ok even if she is alone.
    Now in terms of gameplay... terrible idea. A tank dying is not conducive to how the class is used. A point where Lore separated from gameplay would be great, but that's just me

    I feel like the potential of this class would've been much more interesting if they at least had the little story of Noah and Ino having a Driver-Blade relationship be reflected in the gameplay as well. Like if you have Noah as the class with Ino as the Hero, you get a special Talent Art similar to Unlimited Sword where you get a new set of Arts that involve new "Driver" Arts on the right side, "Blade" support Arts on the left side, and the final Talent Art being a team-up between him and Ino like an XC2 Level 4 Special.

A silhouette of a character does not mean all of the DLC waves have finished development. That's such a leap in logic it astounds me. Your source is also because the eShop has dates for the waves alreay? That's like saying any game that has a trailer or a release date annouced is already completed, that's not how it works. The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingom was announced to be in development at E3 2019. A gameplay trailer and even a release date were shown at E3 2021, are you saying that at either of those points the game may have been done with development already? "Your source can't be "I made it up."
      ... I didn't make it up, seeing as I have already sited my sources. Which backs up my original comment. You Muppet.
      (gotta be careful with the name-calling, don't want it to get this comment auto-deleted again🤣)
      "You clearly have no idea how the game development works."
      Apparently I know more than you; I just proved it to you, you dum***ck.
      XC3 is finished product. Released 3 month ago as of this writing. The DLCs were also done at the same time, because they already had/have a set schedule in place for it's release, AKA release dates.
      And dataminers already have seen and probably have played with the new stuff already (Wave 3 with the 2nd New Hero that we don't have yet). Proof is on the Nintendolife website link that I mentioned on my prior comment.
      "A silhouette of a character does not mean all of the DLC waves have finished development"
      Lmao! Yes, it does, especially right now in XC3, just type in: XC3 DLC wave 2. Click on any of the images, you'll see them with Ino's silhouette image, with a red background on it. It's even on Nintendo's own personal website, those links and those images are 3 months old!
      Further proof that DLC has BEEN finished.
      Nintendo/Monoliftsoft know what they are releasing, because they've already mapped out their planning; AKA Pre-planning. Again, you sparking Muppet! 🤣
      "That's like saying any game that has a trailer *or a release date announced* is already completed, that's not how it works."
      .... 😐. 😆👍 That was a good joke. Because everyone knows (or should know..) that a trailer with a release date on it means the game will be available soon. The Main game is completed and designated stores will release the product soon. How you do not know this is beyond me! 🤣
      "The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom was announced to be in development at E3 2019. A gameplay trailer and even a release date were shown at E3 2021, are you saying that at either of those points the game may have been done with development already?"
      Nope, did not & was not saying that at all. Never even implied that. Heck, I never even brought up LoZ: Tears of the Shills. I was only talking about XC3, because it's an already completed game, and the obvious DLCs that it's going to bring. You know, my original comment? Don't forget to re-read it.
      But if you just want to make a piss poor comparison Hey I won't stop you. But I'm not going to engage in a worthless argument about it either. You can ponder that all by yourself.
      "And if you're going to mention some random Reddit posts I genuinely looked for what you're talking about and I couldn't find anything."
      That's ok little man. The burden of proof was on me anyways, so i'm more than happy to deliver.
      Because I know what I'm talking about. 🤣

    I feel like Noponic champion was made with the early/mid game in mind and suffers greatly in the post-game because tanks get screwed over by fraternal badge/protectors pride and its conflicting design of an evasion tank that WANTS to die and lose Aggro. (Sounds like Ashera lol.)
    All they had to do to make Noponic champion really good was boost your attack and Aggro gain every time you evaded.
    Noponic champion tries accomplishing too much but ends up spreading itself too thin. The recharge when evading is nice until you realize that evading is actually bad cuz you want to boost your attack, but in order to do that, you need to die and LOSE Aggro. If you do that, now suddenly the enemy won’t target you which means you’re not gonna be able to evade unless the attack was AOE…

    Built the class like a straight dps class and see some pretty solid results.
    I run ref edge + hidden thorn. Lustrous spike + cross impact. Dual flash + Quickdraw. (but can swap for the break skill if you want).
    Skills: fighting prowess, ultimate qigong, critical strike.
    Gems: empowered combo, steelcleaver (may want block), analyze weakness
    Acc: lunae rings, sapphire belt, thermo headgear
    This plus ring of roses means you're using fusion arts constantly and hitting like a truck while evading on 2/3 of arts. You'll probably need a 2nd tank especially on hard for when you do die but you hit super hard (and therefore draw aggro) and when you die you just start hitting harder. Haven't tested against everyone but have easily gotten me through most of the super bosses even without max level but I'm on normal. Just worth a consideration.

    When it comes to skills that give buffs when dying, I like to think of them as something that can take effect to help you turn things around and get back in the game, rather than being something you should actively seek; this is also a view I've held since XC2. I think this class gaining additional recharge and damage after dying is intended to help you get aggro back after you just lost it. When I think about it like that, the class is more appealing to me.
    Or maybe I just like dual swords and playing the tank and this class just so happens to be both and I'm just biased. That said, getting stronger through evasion would have been nice. It would have made Noponic Champion similar to Brighid in XC2, and she was my favorite Blade to use in that game.

    I think Noponic Champion is a functional Tank class that needs a few tweaks to its glaring issues.
    Gotta say though, that “attack-up on death” Art would be pretty good on a more risky class like Seraph or Lone Exile.

  • @brickwallace99
    @brickwallace99 Před rokem +1

    also it seemed pretty clear to me that the long recharges on the arts are to balance the recharge up from tit for tat, they become irrelevant if you stand next to whoever has aggro until you’re spamming so much that you take it back

    I really like playing this class, it’s now by far my favorite defender class to use. But making it so dying buffs you is kind of useless since when you have upwards from 500 agility and are using evasion arts left and right, you won’t be dying too much

    I haven't played around with the class/Ino much yet besides maxing out her arts/skills since I'm currently still focused on getting all rank 10 gems. But once I'm done that I might see what it has to offer. I am not a huge fan of classes that rely on dying, even in a game like XC3 where you do tend to die a lot. It just seems like an odd choice. I don't want to have to die in order to be my best. It feels counter intuitive to how I play most games.
    Also, will you be doing guides for the spoiler classes, Enel? I'm sure you have a lot of other stuff going on so no rush. I just like [SPOILER HEALER] as a class and would like to know if there's a more optimal way of playing it than I currently am.

    Something I’m curious about but haven’t been able to test yet. If you have tri slash as a master art and paired it with an AOE art, would it actually apply break (or at least attempt to) to everything within range?
    I didn’t really consider it before since all break arts required the side positional and would be difficult to set up on more than a single enemy at once. But with that removed, would it work?

  • @robertwahlstrom
    @robertwahlstrom Před 6 měsíci

    I haven't played it a lot but I sorta like it, a lot of evasion and you can push critical rate pretty high for a tank.
    Also the 300% damage multiplier is pretty nice if you get it first when you have the hero in the party and if you end with her during the first round you can usually sorta plan what here you will get back with 30 extra TP.

  • @Vonadu
    @Vonadu Před rokem +1

    One interesting feature I found useful was I had a Noponic champion during Melia's Ascension quest. Some combination of the 8 enemies ambushing the party caused all my arts to basically autofill and I started spamming arts. Not sure if it was because my allies were being targetted or I dodge so many attacks, but I'm wondering how the kit works with multi enemy fights.

  • @duddude321
    @duddude321 Před rokem +1

    I run the +60% damage dealt +20% damage taken item instead.
    That way I can focus on being very dodgy, I can keep and recover aggro a bit easier, and if I do get hit it's more likely to kill me thus helping me get my two deaths in.

  • @brianwelch5833
    @brianwelch5833 Před rokem

    It is really good for burst spamming for gem materials but that's all I've really used it for. I do it with the same break topple fusion, then daze instead of launch. Makes the grind a little more mindless cause you don't need to be glued to the side positional

  • @brickwallace99
    @brickwallace99 Před rokem +1

    the art spamming with this class is super fun especially if you’re using it before troubadour is available and it’s your only artspam option, it just seems like a shame that so much of the class is focused on the phoenix aspect. One thing it’s really good for is ouroboros spam (again if you don’t have troubadour), more arts recharge means more fusion arts means easy lv3 throughout midgame
    This and thaumaturge both have niches in an actual hard mode playthrough when you don’t have access to all the other tools yet

    Wow. I was planning to come back to check out the DLC additions as they hit, but after 300+ hours this class is not enough to pull me back. Having a break master art with no positional requirement is amazing, but that's 90% of the advantage I see. Unless the hero quest is the absolute best thing ever, idk. Here's hoping the future DLC is more substantial.

    Honestly, I think most people are putting too much emphasis on the whole 'dying to get stronger' shtick. If you just focus on playing the class as an evasion tank, it's absolutely insane, ridiculously quick cooldowns and almost infinite survivability. It actually accrues more aggro and keeps it better than Zephyr. As for Ino herself, both her Heroic Chain and her Hero Order are fantastic, allowing for some of the highest damage multipliers I've ever seen in chain attacks.

    One thing I feel has to be said: Ino and her class can be unlocked during chapter 3. And while I don't know how it would look like if I did a second playthrough with my current knowledge ... I do know my initial one was messy, chaotic and involved tanks, dps and healers all cycling through their own death montage especially at that point of the game.
    Does that make Noponic Champion great? Probably not. But it might be one hell of a clutch member for a blind early-game player and maybe that gives it a strong place as an early game powerhouse? The cynic in me does worry that this is indication the DLCs are mostlyaimed at getting new players to buy the game rather than also give those who bought it some extra content, but there are 2 more waves to go so I'll try to reserve judgement.

  • @Krizzah47
    @Krizzah47 Před rokem +3

    Every class should have 7 master skills instead of 3 and 4 class skills. They could limit 4 master skills (class skills) to the role to not lose identitiy. So lets calls them role skills.
    E.g. Noponic champion can use 4 role skills (class skills from any tank class) and the usual 3 master skills. So you can get rid of skills that are just bad game design
