As much as I've always loved Corey's idea of him returning as Tommy Jarvis as an adult. I never really agreed with the idea of them ignoring Part VI: Jason Lives, which is a beloved Friday film to me and a lot of the fans. The only reason he included "A New Beginning" was because he wasn't featured in the film, but his appearance as a child in the dream sequence really had no large role within the plot of the movie.
I love part VI, it's my favorite after part IV but I would love to see Cory's idea come to pass. After seeing Laurie Strode come back for 2018 trilogy & Andy Barclay in Chucky TV series I think it would be awesome to see more interaction between Tommy Jarvis and Jason
i always thought it was cool that in a way the dream tommy had at the beginning of Friday 5 could have been like a premonition of him seeing himself and his buddy doing what would end up being the exact thing they did several years later when they accidentally resurrected jason in the beginning of Friday 6 but thanks to the premonition he thought to leave his truck running and be prepared :)
I like Corey's idea for another Friday film. I would also include some other surviving characters, maybe as a team hunting for Jason, similar to the vampire hunters in Marvel's Tomb of Dracula series. Adding Jason's father to the mix would be cool, as well..
I don't care what anyone says or thinks, to ME, Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning is the BEST of the Friday the 13th movie's, followed by Friday the 13th Part III and Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter.
***** a new beginning is good for a lot of reasons; its creepy and has the same vibe from the first 4, likeable characters. I used to kind of dislike it because its someone dressed up as Jason but it's not that bad, compared to part 9 which I could not really watch. 5 is good though
I've always wanted some explanation as to the identity of Jason's father. I thought it might be cool if he was the leader of the team trying to stop Jason (a similar character to Quincy Harker from the Dracula comics I mentioned) b/c he knows what he is and what he's capable of doing. But at first, his motives for tracking Jason wouldn't be clear and you wouldn't know he was Jason's father until late in the story.
I wonder what kind of direction they could have taken the series in had the actors who played Alice, Ginny, or Tommy agreed to step in for a sequel. I was bored a few years ago and wrote a Friday the 13th fanfic that had a scene were Tommy met with Ginny who moved on to counsel people that had traumatic experiences.
yeah I think many F13 fans would be interested in seeing him again, especially now that he's old it would give it more gravitas. He's the closest thing to Nancy's character in Nightmare on Elm Street, or Lorie in Halloween. Probably will never happen, but I'd pay real money to see it.
It's funny what i read on wiki, it says that Friday the 13th remake kinda picks up right after part 4 ignoring the "supernatural" stories after it.. I don't know what came out first: this documentary or the remake, but as I said it's kinda strange to hear now what Feldman said.
Its a shame f13 has two sides. As corey said, pick up from where 5 left off and go or just keep the kane hodder train going. Both would be good. Shame the 2009 movie didnt' do as well I fucking loved that film. Derek did a great job, how he looked with both masks was great how he acted was great. jasons still human aspect was perfect.
Yes the guy who dressed as Jason did it as revenge. But Jason possessed him. I dont think originally they planned it that way. But figured it in part 6. Thats why he wanted to kill Jason in the spot he originally died.
That would be a good one.. if he can pull it off as good as a kiddo. Some of the best. I also thought 5 was one of the best. IMO the best were 4,5,6,7,9.. or top 5. I know some wont agree but this as a kid was my go too. Most views 4,5,7 .. blockbuster 🤘
There will never be a final, or at least in the near future, because people always want the "next", even if it is bad they still want more because of the "history".
But go back to Camp Crystal Lake for movie #13. CCL was always the scariest background IMO. They got to do one more flick it only makes since but make it old school 80's style. Why not even bring Mrs. Voorhees back for the curtain call? Hell Jason keeps coming back to life. Adrienne King would be cool too.
dude they should of done that i bet if they did cory would gladly come back take a look at halloween 1978 and halloween 2018 they said fuck the others ones lets just go on after 1978 40 years later which was 2018 now imagine 1984 and 2022 for friday the 13th cory was onto something in this interview !
Well i would love to see corey feldman in another friday the 13th movie. they could continue the story from where it left off in part 4 with him being tommy. instead of making two different actors in 5 & 6. so i think other people would care, and would agree with me on the subject.
OMG i had no idea Corey Feldman had to endure such unacceptable conditons to work in. Ican't believe he didn't sue or the production crew didnt get busted for child labor abuse. i mean did u hear what he said! not 4 or 5 days like a commoner and not even a full 7 days straight, but 13 count'em 13 full days of working without even 1 single day break. spielburg should've been arrested over at the goonies set. someone had to have known this kid, a minor (not even really supposed to be working according to the law that governs most of the nameless 5 day on 2 day off workforce) was approaching critical breaking points by that 7th or 8th day. man sometimes u think the people you see on the TV live dream lives and have it easy only to find out vile info like this, virtually 2 weeks having to go to work with no day off! - the guy who played jason in pt 4 said his motivation and driving force for playing jason so well in pt 4 was he would imagine he really was gonna get to kill fieldman. pt4's jason said corey fieldman was the most spoiled brat of a child actor he'd ever seen and instead of being absolutely disgusted and nauseated at feildman's behavior off camera between scenes he just let it fuel the fire for his own role's solid performance. fugging awesome!
demonsty Hed stand no chance at winning if he tried to sue, unless corey and his parents agreed and signed to a particular deal and the production crew ends up violating the agreement in some way. My guess is thats wasnt the case, but i can only speculate.
Chancellor Chestnut yes Corey Feldman was molested as a child after filming stand by me ( he was 13 going on 14 ) him and Corey Haim were both friends while filming lost boys and both molested by the same man Feldman’s story is very tragic , sexual abuse by men in Hollywood, physically abuse and emotionally abuse by his parents and even bullied in school how he never became batshit insane is beyond me he turned out to be a pretty chill guy.
and yet u know this how. they do get breaks u know there more behind the scenes than u think. so when they say they work many days with out a break there actually wrong becuz if they mess up the scene or a piece of the set breaks they have to stop filiming a re set the entire staging area. so yea most stars go way over board when they say i work without a break. but some stars do shoot days without a break but like 75% of them lie about that.
I'd love to see Corey back as Tommy..maybe they could even write it so that John Shepherd wasn't really Tommy Jarvis.. It's kinda funny about complaining that there are 2 other different Tommy's, while Jason is also played by many different guys..so get Ted White inn also...that could be fun, as Ted didn't like Corey at all..saying he was a spoiled little brat hahahaha..lets hope Corey has learned to be more humble
I love horror movies Friday the 13 and halloween are my favorit movies I like night mare on elm street but Friday nhalloween are on the top of my list. I liked sleepaway camp
It makes me laugh to hear hollywood types talk about how hard they worked on a film. 13 days in a row, I've worked 94 days straight before. 14 hours a day of physical labor. Suck it up.
I always had the idea of making a ensemble friday movie with a group of survivours from previous films getting together to fight jason one last time. For closure. Set just after Freddy vs Jason and leading up to his capture by the government at the opening of Jason X. I've written several drafts of it and would love to try and get it made someday.
***** yeah I have that series in my collection, was awesome! Shame a movie version could never be agreed on. I love Bruce Campbell's reasoning though, "do I win? No? I'm out" lol
He's actually right, they should do a Friday the.13th Jason vs.Jarvis they could have Cory Feldman play his music to Jason , that should be.enough to kill Jason, lol to be honest.ya it would be cool if Feldman reprises his role as Tommy
Most people fail to understand this concept of part of the series. Jason was a demon. His spirit was haunting Tommy, he got inside that guy who lost his kid. Basically he did it trying to regenerate. Listen to Tommy in part 6 describing Jason as a demon. This theory was revealed in part 9
I agree with Corey.. Skip part 6.. That movie was a joke. It wasn't even scary. Or suspenseful even. And I can't help but wonder how part 5 would have played out if Corey wasn't doing Goonies at the time.
Umm it's a horror movie, all horror movies are supposed to be scary. Horror movies should never by any means be funny, it's like making a comedy movie be scary.
Javier Garza I mean, you CAN add humour to horror films to save it from being a soap opera-ey, boring mess. Comedy can make characters feel like actual people. Also the films have ALWAYS had humour, they’ve always been campy and silly at times. Part 6 is regarded as one of the best because although they didn’t take it too serious, there were great and memorable kills, good acting, characters you have a damn about, and there WAS some suspense, fuck I actually felt sad after Megan’s dad was killed by Jason. And then Jason almost killing tommy in the water? But let’s agree to disagree because it is, in my opinion, the most enjoyable film out of this franchise
and yet u thinkin im bullshitin. u don't even know what ur talkin bout. my comment is more accurate on the behind the scenes then urs will be so u think u know it all but u don't so go bother someone else with ur immature bullshit, and when u put on ur big girl panties. then u can try to post an argument.
I loved part 5. It’s the most underrated F13.
Part 5 is often overlooked because it’s not Jason at the end but it was a damn good Friday.
I always wanted to see Tommy javis meet with Jamie lee Curtis character in a Michael vs Jason
Alec Scheller I want that to happen but prob won’t by now 😩
Sorry but that kind of thing only happens in a world where they make stuff people actually want to see.
I love his mask in this film!
Even if it's maligned for not having Jason, it's still a very effective slasher IMO.
It definitely is.
I think who ever played Tommy Jarvis was a great actor for that movie.
Part 5 is one of my favourites!
I love part VI, it's my favorite after part IV but I would love to see Cory's idea come to pass. After seeing Laurie Strode come back for 2018 trilogy & Andy Barclay in Chucky TV series I think it would be awesome to see more interaction between Tommy Jarvis and Jason

Corey's idea at the end for a final showdown would be PERFECT for the 13th(maybe final) Friday the 13th film. It would be amazing.
Have Corey come back to play Tommy and have Kane Hodder as Jason. A win-win situation
Indeed
I liked 5
It's very effective as a slasher.
I agree with you, Part V is the best of the franchise!!!
I think part V is ok, but it just doesn't feel the same without Jason, for me at least.
Mike J. I am glad we both like Part III and IV but V is my least favorite. The characters are annoying and none of the death scenes are that iconic.
Frankie TV Only good thing about "A New Beginning" is Debbie Sue's big giggling titties.
Corey Feldman should play tommy Jarvis again
I've always wanted some explanation as to the identity of Jason's father. I thought it might be cool if he was the leader of the team trying to stop Jason (a similar character to Quincy Harker from the Dracula comics I mentioned) b/c he knows what he is and what he's capable of doing. But at first, his motives for tracking Jason wouldn't be clear and you wouldn't know he was Jason's father until late in the story.
James Kennedy search Elias voorhees
I think Thom Mathews played a great older version of Tommy, He added a set of balls to the character.
I totaly agree with you
Thom Mathews is ten times better than Corey Feldman could ever be.
A Friday 2.0 or a 4.0 would be a really great idea. Or something where Jason is killing off all of the survivors. You know something.
"Friday the 13th:Jason vs Jarvis" ...... Let's make it happen!
I love Corey, but part VI is way too enjoyable to be tossed aside
Matt the Pyro PART 6 was awful. Everything after "Final Chapter" was crap.
They should make that storyline Corey speaks of as a series.
@@Donscottmusic part 6 was awesome just wow
yeah I think many F13 fans would be interested in seeing him again, especially now that he's old it would give it more gravitas. He's the closest thing to Nancy's character in Nightmare on Elm Street, or Lorie in Halloween. Probably will never happen, but I'd pay real money to see it.
or andy from the chucky flims or jamie from halloween 4 and 5
The only reason why he said that they could include five was because he was in it. I hate it when people are too full of themselves
It's funny what i read on wiki, it says that Friday the 13th remake kinda picks up right after part 4 ignoring the "supernatural" stories after it..

Feldman in a new friday the 13th movie - that would be great
he is really nice about the whole thing :)
i wish they made a movie with the dream sequence jason. he looked so fucking cool.
If I still had my vhs they'd be worn out big time.
I’d watch it🙋🏽♂️
Great idea. CJ graham as Jason and Corey as Tommy to take place after part 5.
No. Corey is cringe
That punk girl is cool my fav character
Own this on VHS, still want 1 2 and 4.
if he doesn't really come back to be tommy, he would make a great side character
are they making a part 2 of the remake?
I always thought his big break was the goonies... I didnt know until years ago that he was in part 4 and 5
We need a pick up movie after final chapter with corey as tommy
So they made tommy grow up because corey was filming another movie at the time
5 was better than parts 7-9 just dumb it wasn’t Jason lol
Feldman sounds like a fucking martyr. And he's freezing in the middle of summer in California??
Part 6 is the best one
I agree with Cory here a Reboot but with him now grown up!
they should have waited 6 months.
There will never be a final, or at least in the near future, because people always want the "next", even if it is bad they still want more because of the "history".
@GhostbustersRulez There are already 12 films counting Freddy vs Jason. But yes thats an amazing idea for number 13.
Thanks!

Does this interview appear on a particular dvd edition of part V, as a featurette?
They need him to be back in the part 2 remake may be have a younger tommy for the first half an hour but have him back for the rest of it
Hey Vic !
Corey looks awesome in this footage!
dude they should of done that i bet if they did cory would gladly come back take a look at halloween 1978 and halloween 2018 they said fuck the others ones lets just go on after 1978 40 years later which was 2018 now imagine 1984 and 2022 for friday the 13th cory was onto something in this interview !

Seems like every year s13 movie cameout
They should of made a Goonies vs Jason movie...How about it Corey?!!
Sloth VS. Jason.

JASON OWEN BATTIS
I’m game. Let’s do it.

Yeah, tell me about it
that would suck i dont see Felddog playin the role of grown up insane tommy jarvis hes tooo short
ur welcome man
MUST WRITE FAN FICTION!
Hate to say this but i think it's a good thing for corey that he did goonies instead of the whole friday 5. Part 5 was not as good as 4 was.
I love horror movies Friday the 13 and halloween are my favorit movies I like night mare on elm street but Friday nhalloween are on the top of my list. I liked sleepaway camp
I prefer Thom Mathews over Corey Feldman any day of the week.
John was the best Tommy by far.
to be fair he was only about 13 at the time.
It makes me laugh to hear hollywood types talk about how hard they worked on a film. 13 days in a row, I've worked 94 days straight before. 14 hours a day of physical labor. Suck it up.
No pick it up after part 6.

roy vs. Jason
I'd love Corey and Kimberly and even any of the surviving girls come back to battle Jason
i like that idea to but why add Jason's dad to the story. to me he was never in the series i would like to know what u mean on that part.
"F20" as Corey said, would be trash. You can't just forget the rest of them. I love 6,7,X, and Vs, it's better off if they stay the way they are.
i think they should make friday the 13th part 11 and 12 and then in part 13 bring back Tommy Jarvis as an adult with a kid
He's actually right, they should do a Friday the.13th Jason vs.Jarvis they could have Cory Feldman play his music to Jason , that should be.enough to kill Jason, lol to be honest.ya it would be cool if Feldman reprises his role as Tommy

Yeah, so?
after part 4 it was all shit.
Not my place
Most people fail to understand this concept of part of the series. Jason was a demon. His spirit was haunting Tommy, he got inside that guy who lost his kid. Basically he did it trying to regenerate. Listen to Tommy in part 6 describing Jason as a demon. This theory was revealed in part 9
after this part I gave up on this franchise...then in 6 they brought him back on some Frankenstein shit!!?🤣
Jason was always supernatural. He was never truly human.
Part 5 was basically a porno, all the nudity, the cocaine use on set, the director was a porn director lol Jesus Christ
I agree with Corey.. Skip part 6.. That movie was a joke. It wasn't even scary. Or suspenseful even. And I can't help but wonder how part 5 would have played out if Corey wasn't doing Goonies at the time.
Part 6 was suppose to be a joke, and when was Friday The 13th scary? It has always been a non-scary but fun franchise.
Umm it's a horror movie, all horror movies are supposed to be scary. Horror movies should never by any means be funny, it's like making a comedy movie be scary.

lmfao no. Part 5 is easily the most entertaining out of them
i think part 6 is the worst it is a good film dont get me wrong but i see it as the worst installment
Worst than JGTH? Wow!
GOOSEBUMPSGUY nah part 9 of u think part6 is u on drugs bruh
I wouldn't say part 6 was the worst or it wasn't the best either. It was just okay to me. I'm not a huge fan of the supernatural/undead Jason
like i said in the part 2 video. i hate part 5. i hate fake jason. i hate the fact that roy burns has to be jason voorhees in this movie.
I love his mask in this film!
Corey Feldman should play tommy Jarvis again
