To be honest with everyone. Where the UK is situated , it is a perfect storm scenario for the ultimate cool wet and windy summer. Atlantic on one side and the North Sea on the other and resting between 50 and 56 degree latitude, we don't stand a chance of getting good summers. I would say, that the few good summers we have had are a fluke, a bit of good lucky. The South East corner tends to be influenced by the Low countries and thats why they tend to have much more sufficient summers anywhere in the UK, apart from the Channel Islands. Some parts of Jersey can average nearly 2000 hours of sunshine in a good summer, that almost on par with Budapest or Mannheim , Stuttgart in Southern Germany.
Agreed. IMHO 2022 was a once in a lifetime summer, even then it was only really June and July which were decent.
I love the general autumnal feel! It’s my favourite season so I’ll take an extended version in a heartbeat 💗
I like someone who has a calm & balanced view rather than using silly terms such as "global boiling"! 👏
Absolute garbage this weather pattern. Wait until winter when it’ll probably the complete opposite. Atlantic ruins summers and winters here.
Very much enjoy your channel. Its forecasting but with discussion as to why. For someone like me who is interested in the weather system but gas little technical knowledge it is fascinating to see all the various influences that exist which create patterns around the globe. Thank you for your efforts to make these videos as well as working night shift!!
@@maryhallett1793 thanks May. Appreciate the feedback 🙏 and glad you enjoy the channel.
Heating on tonight here in Paisley, just started my 2 weeks off hoping to get some well overdue stuff done in the garden etc. but done barely anything as it's too cold and windy/rain so doing in house stuff I would usually do in Winter. Hoping xmas will bring us 20 degrees lol!
Happy with things as hate heat and humidity. Love sun but not above 24c.. Lack of storms though.
Staying chilly .
Amazing storm very scary.
Shessh is just 21c and sunny for 3 months just way too much to ask for now days
Thanks for the date Mark, intersting weather.
Great update as always Mark
Looks like the ice age has begun. 😮
Gonna have to start taking Vitamin D supplements at this rate. I suppose on the bright side or not so much in this case I can sleep comfortably haha

@@alanjeffs-ep8lq While I agree with you its still 21c to 24c in Paris not great for them I know, but its still summer, in the UK its Autumn, no if buts or may yes.
It's not taking a break, it's weather and not overall climate.
Speaking for those of us with health issues or the elderly, thank you for having mercy on us, Mother Nature.
I am 61 and have very bad health issues and adore heat and humidity. Weather like we are getting this July is so soul destroying for a lot of people. We have had 9 months of wind and rain. We need some substantial heat with very high temperature in the mid 30c and no lower than 21c at night.
@@nepaleseman1010 • No one living in 🇬🇧 should expect or want mid 30° daytime or tropical night temps.
Move to a suitable climate instead of expecting the climate to revolve around you.
@nepaleseman1010 your living in the wrong country if that's what you want, even for Summer months what your asking for is exceptional...
