Thank you VERY MUCH for all your videos.....I was extremely intimidated and hesitant to use my new sprayer but after watching your videos I was able to set up, spray, clean and store my GRACO 390 confidently and produce fantastic results in no time.
Great Video! You are a very good instructor. I've had my sprayer in storage for a couple of years and used the the guard prior to storage. Misplaced manual with two recent moves and found you and wanted you to know how appreciative your video was now I need to paint my fence in backyard. And you made it so Real getting a bath these are the best instructional video's when we actually realize we can only skirt around perfection in any of our fields of expertise.. .. :)

MESSAGE FROM A VIRGIN PAINT SPRAYER. I just bought the Graco X19. Never have used one of these before. I have watched a lot of how to type videos but watching someone else use these machines and using one yourself for the first time is a different story. I know that the sprayer I purchased is capable. The questions become... Am I capable? Will I make a mess of the job? What will discharging the gun actually feel like? Here is the solution for my lack of confidence. I WILL USE STRAIGHT WATER TO SPRAY MY GARAGE DOOR UNTIL I REACH A SATISFACTORY LEVEL OF COMFORT WITH THIS EQUIPMENT AND MY TECHNIQUE.
Using water first is a good idea to get comfortable!
@@vikings844 what tip can you use to blast stuff off the wall? can you turn this into a pressure washer with the right tip, say a 209 at 3300psi?

Just one tip size didn't really make any difference tbh. .I find the same...I usually end up lowering by two tip sizes with the fflp tips in this situation....great video's, very informative and interesting
Brilliant video, such neat spraying. I have the Graco A20 and today my first time using it I was getting runs in the paint when priming MDF, do you think it’s likely too close or the pressure too high?

Thanks for the video. I have just got a sprayer and used it for the first time. It's gone everywhere 🤣. Like a fine mist. Gone under doors and into other room. What did I do wrong? I'm I spraying to far away from wall.
Can I use this with waterbased eggshell / satinwood and primer undercoat?
If you don’t have any more pressure available, then your pump isn’t big enough. You shouldn’t need to max out the capacity of the equipment, or drop the spray tip orifice below what is recommended on the products data sheet.

Great video! Will the Graco 390 be suitable for spraying kitchen/wardrobe MDF units for a high quality finish or would you recommend an air sprayer?
Thank you!! Air spray will give you a very good finish but we have a lot of customers using airless machines like the 390 with FFLP tips for this kind of work. I just bought the GX FF from you. Instinctively I'm wondering if it might be bad for the pump if you flush all fluid from the high pressure hose and gun before introducing paint i.e is the pump potentially running dry?
Thanks for the order! You aren't wrong and the pump could potentially be running dry. Once you are used to how the machine works you can 'chase' different materials through the same hose. So say you've flushed with water and the hose/pump is filled with water and you want to load up with paint you could take the suction tube from the water and put it into you paint and use the paint to push the water through. This will only work if you're willing to accept some level of cross contamination.

Hey! Hello! Guys it is possible like my tip to have a factory problem? I just can't get that clean uniform spray! For nothing. I tried all. I made paint more liquid, I changed pressure 1000 times. If is low, it's spits more in the middle. If is high is making a milion particles per second. Is like loosing all the paint in the air. What should I do :( any advice is welcomed. 😢

yes you can use the 390 to spray oil base paint , just make sure you buy some thinner to clean the sprayer and everything else the oil touchs
