    I will use for the first time a sprayer (390) this coming Monday and after your video I am very confident about it.
    I have only one question if you have the time.
    Wouldn't it be better if at the end,after cleaning the sprayer I empty the sprayer from water in it?
    Water couldn't cause any rust inside the pump and to any metallic parts?
    Thank you!

    • @Brian_the_repair_guy
      @Brian_the_repair_guy  Před 2 lety

      The parts in the pump can rust over a very long period of time. I usually suggest putting RV antifreeze in the system if it is going to be a long time. Don't leave the system dry, that can lead to other problems.

    In your opinion for this sprayer, which tip is better for cabinets? Store told me green tip (312) is best..another painter said he only uses a 313 for cabinets & most everything else.. just curious what you would use. Thanks

    • @Brian_the_repair_guy
      @Brian_the_repair_guy  Před rokem +1

      Typically you want to use the FFLP tips. These are the green even numbered tips. They allow you to turn the pressure done lower on your machine, without affecting your atomization. Lower pressure with good atomization means more product will actually stay on the surface and not fly away.
      A lot of old school painters will use the standard tips, hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
      If you are using latex, the 312 is very good. If you are using oil, you can drop down to a .10 or .08.
      I hope this was helpful, any other questions just ask.

    • @Brian_the_repair_guy

      After each use, I recommend cleaning the gun filter and the manifold filter after each use. Just pull it out and wash it with the appropriate thinner.

      How much paint do you use in the course of a week or in a month? The 210 is a good machine, with a 15 or 17 tip, it will give you the same production as a 440. It sprays the same materials as a 440. With the same tip, you will notice no difference in the 2.
