Some Clarification:
- The higher your polling rate the more it saturates the lanes and the more impact it puts on your CPU. So, for example 1600 DPI will stress your CPU less than 3200, which is less than 10,000.
- When I brought up my "skills" that was to show that I am not terrible at gaming but not great either. I'm not abnormal or a freak. And there will be plenty of people around my skill level and if I can feel it then you should be able to feel it too.
- The link about the Windows update. I lost it. I don't know where it went. So that's going to continue to be MIA. My bad.
- I found this video after the fact. It is worth watching. Interesting about the motion delay and how big of a difference that can make. Some of the other recommendations in that video are questionable and require further research or knowledge and I don't want to go into that here. So check that comment section. - When I say that higher polling rate is situational an easy way to sum that up is the faster you are moving your cursor (and the more constantly you are using it) the higher your polling rate actually is and the more improvement you will see. Which is why quick flicks and tracking tends to see the biggest improvement as that is when you are moving your mouse the fastest and the most consistently.

The reason I don't lose my sleep over this is because, for me at least, peak FPS pro gaming scene was CS:GO from 2014-2018, take any player from that time period I check what polling rate they were using (everybody was using 1K), so any change that is not magically going to make me play like them. That's a fact.
What has actually made a huge difference for me has been new Shapes and weight. With lighter mice I feel less fatigue and aim better and I think peak shape is Razer DAV3Pro.
