Another superb video. It is always a treat to watch your interesting work. Best wishes, David in the UK.
🙏🏼
Thanks Ben - another enjoyable watch. Off out in the morning for 3 days in Buttermere, Lake District......should be good as the weather is likely to be far from perfect
Sounds great!
Nice pictures as always…and inspirational story! Good advise! Cheers..
Many thanks!
Great story/video man, and nice shot to accomplish it !
Well done and thanks for sharing !!
Very compelling B&W photos, l recently bought a Nikon ZF, two of the prime lenses are the Voightlander 4omm f1.2 and 15mm f4.5, I haven't used manual focus lens since my days with my Minolta film camera and look forward to shooting some B&W Photos with my first Nikon camera. I have several different camera bodies with prime and zoom lenses and did some event photography for a number of years, many of my favorite photos were one's that I converted to B&W, not every photo works in B&W but those that do are something special.
Thanks for watching. Thanks for sharing.
This video gave me goosebumps
Thanks for watching Daisy
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Greg
Thank you! I didn’t know that story either. 🥰
Thanks Jill
Great shots as usual.
Great information on flood.
Thanks for the video.
I sometimes adapt a 14mm f/2.8 Nikon F-mount lens to my Leica M6 when I need extremely wide shots.
Perfect!
Man been Following your channel for a while now, i love these shots, definitely getting that lens along with the 15MM Viewfinder, nice choice of beer by the way. I like the Modelo Dark a lot.
Means a lot. Thanks for stopping by!!
Thanks Ben 🙏
Find lots of inspiration in what you share here 😊
🙏🏻🙏🏻
So fascinating and meaningful !!! Like it ! Greetings from Switzerland !
Many thanks!
Great story👍 & dramatic b&w photos, thank you!
Thank you too!
American Scandal podcast covered this recently in a series around the LA water wars from back in the early 20th century. Worth a 👂.
Thanks for the great content as usual.
Nice! Thanks Greg
Awesome content as always.
Much appreciated!
You are natural talent for what you do and with a lot of experience 👍 I like your videos very much.
You mentioned man made disaster in the area causing death to unfortunate people. That's bad. But nature in its basics is nothing but strugle and fight for light and food. Killings and deaths are constantly present, just we don't see that all the time. Nature is a constant battle.
Wish you all the best through the 2024 👍
Thank you. Yes, you are right. Being in nature makes you see things more clearly.
Have you thought about getting a voigtlander viewfinder for your 15mm lens? I'm looking at getting the lens and viewfinder.
Love the images and the story.
Sometimes we just don't know...
Thanks pal. No plans for a vf.
I recently found your channel. It's very good to see this kind of dedication and inspiration. Adventures don't have to take place very far indeed. It can be as near as your own neighbourhood.
A few questions (you don't have to answer them of course)
Do you feel your images taken with the M6 are different than the ones taken with the Q2? Do you alter them in post (of the M6) and don't you feel it's more satisfying to shoot with the M6 compared to the Q2 because it takes more "work" to get them "right" when compared to the images you take with the Q2?
Shooting film, to me, is pure and relaxing. It's also practical in a sense that you instantly have a physical raw file so to speak. Your negative.
If you're in for a treat. Shoot Kodak Ektacrhome e100 slide film 👍🏻 Fantastic.
Great channel and love your stories. Keep them coming!
Thanks T.
The M6 is my all time favorite camera. The shots I nail with it are very special to me. I try and do minimal editing to my digital and analog images. Always. In a few months I will be diving deep into processing and scanning all my own film so the channel will be mostly analog centric.
All the new videos in the future are analog. There are 9 already shot and upcoming. Lots of M6. Its just what I'm most interested in..
I like it a lot and i will go get dressed and walk. Jim
Yes!
Quick question, I'm guessing that is the Voigtlander 15mm V2 or V3? How do you frame/compose without an external viewfinder? Thanks again for sharing, I like the storytelling format.
V3 I think. A friend gifted it to me. I "guess" on the framing mostly. It works out and is part of the fun. I love this lens.
9:02. Great video
What camera bag are you using in this video
Thanks for going deep in the catalogue! It’s a lowepro bag I’ve had for years.
Quick question what is your camera bag and size? Ty
It’s a LowePro I’ve had for over a decade. Awesome bag.
Great shots
Thanks pal.
