- This air powered pellet pistol fell short of the army standard of the 1/2 pine board in my test! Your mileage may vary but the Huben GK1 def beats this.

Yeah, the “Viper” should have been named the “Whimper”. I was a nitwit for buying it. However, I am very happy with the Hatsan Blitz .30 and the AEA SS Max .30. I would definitely consider them both lethal…especially the Blitz for its rate of fire.
I think its excellent as a semi auto target 10 meter gun, but its gaslighting hard to call it a protection tool

I doubt it. The minute it is, it'll be regulated. And you'll be left with a very expensive and impractical air pistol costing 4k that gets destroyed by a $300 regular handgun.
@@malchir4036 I doubt this. There is far too much gray area with power tools including finish nailers and framing nailers. Plus many other power tools.
You would instantly make every felon construction worker guilty of firearm type possession essentially.

@@JohnDoe-cy7vk It's illegal over here already(Belgium). Any air pistol(which is defined as any airgun less than 1meter in total length) with a power of over 4j is treated like a regular hand gun. So you need a permit. However, you can't get a permit for air pistols as they're not firearms, so they're effectively shadowbanned.
Unless of course you would drive abroad to buy them.

Great video. I like how much smaller the viper is than the GK1 (and the viper x is gonna be even smaller) but I’ll never buy it with that kind of power level. I’d get the new umarex pistol for less than have the price if I wanted that kind of output.
Edit: the hatsan velox pistol. I don’t think there’s an umarex yet.

Hi Brett, you might want to try the Holosun 507 C in ACSS VULCAN GR. reticle. This sight was designed for pistols for rapid target acquisition . You will notice a big difference in speed compared to using a "standard" Holosun circle dot reticle on your pistol.

I have a .25 gk1. Its pretty powerfull and accurate. Next on my list is the western sidewinder & rattler.

I think they have released the .30 cal. I saw a review on it @“the airgun channel”. Looked better than the .25 viper but may still be lacking behind the .25 gk1.
Please review the Western sidewinder, I know it is a pricey get up, but what a fine specimen! Hammerless firing and a great fire rate.

mac i will be getting my viper in .30cal at 36fpe smiles and if at all possible i may make the transfer port a little more open and try for 40fpe giggles.

I'd go with the p Rex 50 bottle. If your looking for self defense 😊 it will get it done I don't know about non lethal though 😮

Not much better from what I've seen and heard. Only about 10fpe more than the 25.
But that 10 fpe might be enough!~ 30fpe in 30 would do it w 7.62 frontal area

i have asked terry to find me a hpss plus instead mac, under 20 inches and 55 fpe, that is good enough for me bro.
wont even keep the hinge or stock on it.just make it a pistol.
i went decades with a crossman 1377 that i put a pumpmaster 730 guts into and could pump it to 35 tines and nagnetize 10 BB's and have one shot that would only hurt the target.
i made that work. so even that .25 cal is better than what i am used to in a pistol.
shooting inch long lengths of coat hanger sharpened does work.
but that .30cal if it will shoot these 50gr hollowpoints i have from ROGUE PRECISION AMMUNITION, really soft lead and the owner tests them in semi auto AEA guns.
if it will shoot those i will buy the .30 cal cause those flatten out to the size of a quarter shooting them out of my hatsan mod 130 and that is 34fpe and is good enough just the mod 130 is heavy and slow mac , but in a pcp pistol it would work.
