- In this video we finally get to do something I've wanted to do for years, install a full health and heat detection system for our cows
It will take us a few months to be able to share our full experience with this new system but we will as time goes by.

A good video Adrian, is the coller system only suitable for Dairy cows.
Off the subject of the video but I was just thinking people don’t appreciate how hard farming is weather it be cattle or crop , they can’t just nip off on holiday and I would imagine they never get to go on holiday , we should appreciate farmers far more than we do .

I never comment but I just had to say WELL DONE. I know for you its just your daily life but for those of us who are clueless its great to see a real working farm and also remember how so many people work so hard for us. Its also really nice to see someone using their hands and intuition to sort out problems while too many quickly resort to paying someone to fix a problem or even worse throw a servable item away and buy new. Your "ordinary" is our very unteresting.

As a non farmer I find this sort of thing totally fascinating, I didn’t know this sort of thing was even available for farmers, I can see how could soon pay for itself with the convenience of knowing when to serve cows and the possibility catching infection and poor eating etc it’s fantastic 😊 congratulations on you 100k subs it’s well deserved I hope your father continues with his speedy recovery, maybe you could teach him how to edit the videos to take a bit off your shoulders lol 😊 take care.

I started watching the old house renovation ,but the farming life is fascinating,having to grasp new technology and the universal problems of the weather,etc ,,we don’t value the hard work and worries of farmers growing our food

Congratulations on the 100k. Hope you're father mends up. Lost my grandad 8 years ago in a farming accident and I really miss his knowledge. Would make a lot of jobs so much easier if he was still here to ask. Was tackling a field drain a while back and I was entirely sure where it ran, but he would have known straight away, he put a lot of them in! 😢

The quality of videos has improved out of all recognition but the foundations are the same - it is really satisfying to see an honest,decent, hard working, family man succeeding. I live on the other side of the world but it is heartwarming to be kept in touch with home and the great memories. So happy to hear your Dad’s home even if it’s a bit too early.
I shared last week that my Dad just turned 90 and he was recently in a rehab after breaking his shoulder. He’s back home but brought with him pneumonia which he then gave to my Mum who’s 86 & my brother who has cancer
We adapt. We make changes but he needs a lot of support to do basic things. After working hard as a painter and other jobs his whole life to provide for our family, he now struggles & it’s so hard to see. (6 children plus we fostered many children over the years)
Like you, I’m working under the assumption, hoping & praying he’ll be strong enough to be more independent and engaged.
I look forward to seeing your Dad on a video again. If not helping you out on the farm then enjoying the summer sunshine. Irish air does wonders for the soul. God bless & congratulations ✌️💚

My late father was principle for a time and we lived on the campus before he moved to a different position in the late 90's. HA LOL :) Too bad you didn't film the circus audition of farming that would have been tragic and funny at the same time. I am glad your father is feeling well he must be proud of all the work you've done to bring the farm current with technology. Knowing you had to go save your lady from a nasty mouse and she knew you would to get you in the house to a beautiful celebration with family is the icing on the cake. LOL :)
