Nice. I did a similar thing on my Suzuki RM250 grass kart. But I had the micro-switch and spring inside the gear shift lever at the end. Better protection from the elements! Also used an "Ignitech" programable CDI, with external inputs including flat shift with a pre-delay from the onset of the trigger, to ignition cut duration. Mine was a total of 100 milliseconds, or 1/10th of a second.

just found your vids... great idea with the ignition cut out , have you got it dialed in yet? , was looking at aftermarket devices that do the same job, but VERY expensive. there are lots of micro switches to pick from is that what you use?
