Two Steps is a Proper Yorkshire Chippy in Sheffield

- I now own a beanie that says Chips ‘n Gravy. On today’s Eating with Robert, I eat fried chippy delights in the rain for clout on the last night before Britain’s second lockdown.
It’s well known and chronicled that I’m dating a lovely woman from Sheffield, and that I make her point a camera at me while I eat. But it wasn’t until I met Charlotte’s family that I got the full YORKSHIRE experience. Charlotte doesn’t have Henderson’s Relish on her dinner table. She had never heard of a Yorkshire fishcake. She is basically a Londoner, and everyone knows it. Luckily her aunt, uncle and cousins stepped in to give me some real food intel on Sheffield, and from that this episode was born with a strong, northern desire to eat fishcakes on the street.
Shouts out to Independent Sheffield for recommending I check out Two Steps on Sharrow Vale Rd. So good. Sheffield is super underrated - can’t wait to go back. Until then, I’ve got some episodes in mind here in Nueva York, and after a short cuarantena I’ll be back out there making new eppys.

I'm from Sheffield, but living in Thailand. I really shouldn't have watched this, I've got sudden hunger pangs. Great assessment though, as I was really interested in the opinion from overseas.
