- A gaming laptop is not always expensive. It can meet all your needs, it can be from a well-known brand, but it doesn't have to cost like a spare kidney. The new Acer NITRO is already here!

Thanks, mate!
Im planing to buy nitro 17, 4060, 16 gb ram, can i upgrade it to 32gb
Hi, I'm considering to buy this laptop(AN17-71, i7 13700hx, rtx 4060), somewhere I read that it has low contrast ratio 600:1 and also that during gaming the cpu and gpu almost never reached their maximum power. May you tell something about that, please?
As for power - pretty much every single laptop has its CPU and GPU capped at one point or another. There's always some kind of power to heat ratio, and I'd say this particular one is balanced.
As for contrast - it's definitely not the best display out there, and I don't remember the exact number, but definitely not 600:1. This would have been obsolete as hell :)
@@armored_pony OK, thanks for the answer, I appreciate it. Have a nice day!
@@RBoop you're always welcome, mate!
Looks like i can get this model at microcenter for about 1399.00 USD. I think im going to pull the trigger. This review pushed me to this model over the 16 inch version.
I am getting one too. Saving up for the i9 one.
So how's the experience so far?
It has all I need, except the storage drivers preinstalled..
Ask.
I have a Nitro 17, but the "W" key feels different when pressed. Apparently it doesn't have the same movement as the other keys.
This is normal, does it come from the factory for some purpose? Or do I have to make a claim to my provider?
Saludos desde Nicaragua
I already got it and perfect 17inch QHD compare to LOQ TUF and Katana
Maybe I will, thanks
I dont see the power plug in any of the vanity shots, ive heard that it is weird and very stiff. I don't see it in the review or commented upon after scrubbing through very quickly... you're not the only influencer that has completely omitted the power plug, did Acer ban you guys from talking about it???
LOL, it's the first time I'm being called an "influencer", thanks mate, but I think that's quite a stretch) Speaking of the plug - I haven't noticed anything weird about it, that's why I thought it's not worth mentioning at all
you think it will be perfect for photography and videography?
I'd say yes, but there are more options with better display, if you ask me
And with a better display, comes a higher price.
What's the battery life🤔 im thinking of buying one of this
3.5 hours of fullhd video from youtube, wifi on, max brightness, max volume. Pretty standard for a gaming laptop. It's there, in the vid, starting at 7:16)
I used to have Asus for gaming and I was never having any issues until I switched to Acer for gaming and I would have so much problems and my computer would freeze in the middle of game so never buy Acer for gaming!!
Are the lid logos stickers and can they be removed?
nah, those are made-from-factory ones
Hi, again, I have Nitro 17(i7 13700HX, rtx 4060) and gpu doesn't reach max tgp(115W + 25W boost mode). II am playing F1 22 and God of War on ultra high settings and results are:
F1 22 -> 60 -70W
God of War -> 80-90W
I don't want to use turbo boost, but I wish it would work at a higher level, at about 100W.
Can it be fixed?
Thanks!
Ok, mate, here's what Acer representative answered considering your question
"TGP depends on power profile, try to change it in Nitro Sense to achieve maximum results. Also final power target considers CPU load"
feel free to tag tag me personally, sorry the response took so long
so basically - you have to turn the boost on, no options
@@armored_pony Ok, thanks :)
Probable being limited by your current performance profile, you know Performance, Balanced and battery saving modes, in another words, Tewaking windows is the trick!
Hi i have a question. I just bought nitro 17 and I don’t have nitrosense can u help me ?
Bro how do feel? İs pc good i decided buy this
I have this laptop. Definitely go with this beast.

Hello, Can I add two 4K monitor ?
yep
Big mistake is acer laptop, why, there no chance to use windows hello face unlock, why they put low level camera
Mine never leaves the house,so,no need.
ты ж по русски говорил, что с тобой случилось?)))
For a laptop of 1300 eur not to have face unlock disaster of acer laptop, even 50 eur mobile phone have that option. Dell laptops have that option even they profuced before 4 years, acer nitro 17 had not that option face unlock doesnt work. Because they put it cheapest camera, I regret that i have buy acer nitro 17 laptop before 3 months deeeepllyyyyh regret waste of money for the lowest lewel of quality, deeply regret to spend that sum of money
what a problem you have there. don't have hands to type the password? smh, people nowadays.
@@MiChaeng1994 you defend something that you not conviced to do that. I repeat again for 1.400 eur laptop and dont have faceunlock because for a 1 eur camera builded in laptop, its the same that you have buy 2.000.000 eur porche with only 10 horce power engine from 0 to 100 km its take 3 hours. We type pasword in last century, now in 21 century is face unlock, we are not stock in time, we dont have win 3.1. People nowdays use win 11 with faceunlock
@@MiChaeng1994 in 21 century we use eyes to unlock the laptop, that who we are nowdays
@@sasopata I believe the issue about it is not the camera itself, but the security requirements from microsoft, which are not about just the camera. On top of that you don't find this feature in gaming laptops often
