Awesome video! This is one of my more favorite cruisers after the Cheshire and Atago. Bought the Azuma before the buff and wasn’t really disappointed as it was still pretty fun the huff just made her more fun. Have a good one!

Excellent video Derka. As a German cruiser fan since all of the great German cruisers are now crate ships I just picked up the Maya and the Azuma and while they are no Hipper (fast, hard dpm ships made to push and brawl caps), the Azuma is quite fun to play as a nimble battle cruiser.

I have been running Azuma daily for a few weeks now and it's on of my favorites. To hit a Yamamoto, and other BB'S for 2 citadels in one shot is awesome. Like you said people really underestimate this ship. I'm running Yamamoto with KUNETSOV, and IB Delightful w/ Gun accuracy/ rudder/ concealment 10.8/ reload 18 sec. Ignore this ship if you want too, but it will not work out well for you. Thanks Derka for another awesome video.

I love Azuma since her release despite her being average but since this buff she in a good spot finally
I wanted to love her lol she was just so underwhelming for me. I know some still had great results. But the AP now is so saucy! Lots of fun
Haven't tried Azuma since the buff but I thought it was a pretty good ship from the get-go...I'll have to roll her out and see what she's working with. GG...enjoyed watching!

I'm getting closer to 750k green xp. Might have to look at Azuma again. Was thinking Massa for BB or Friesland (maybe Yolo) for DD. Haven't really gotten into the IJN line much as of yet. Might have to though. Azuma Dev Strikes look nice.

Loved her even before the buff. However with T8 GXP ships and T8 premiums coming, I don’t think it’s worth pulling the trigger on this or any GXP purchases until they announce at least the next ship so we can measure the power creep.

Tough decisions, Stalingrad is a beast. I guess it depends what T8 ships there are... on that note you should sleep on this and come back to my channel tmrw 😉 might have some info to help you decide

Hey Derka I know it's off topic, but what do you think the best GXP battleship is right now? Im coming up on 750K and I was going to go Massachusetts or Alabama but I'm not positive on even those as it will be another long while before I get to the 750K again.
Oh man this is always tough. I think Massa is probably the strongest overall. But Odin and Tirpitz are both super fun brawlers, Roma now has rolling smoke and reduced reload. And Bama has great accuracy. Monarch, Gascogne, and Champagne seem like easy skips for now. Maybe they'll be buffed.
Already liked mine with a sneaky build, but now man its a whole new level, 9.7km concealment with those 305s ? A monster...

As for next Gxp ship for me it would be Gascogne, i'm just waiting for her to get a buff and have Champagne's accuracy if it happens one day

At least i think so, i tried lightful/lemonier but even with 14sec only of detection after firing i still prefer those few 100s of meters less detectability

How do you zoom in twice like at 3:37-3:39? Been playing this game for over 2 years still have no clue how some ppl do this
On my build its clicking in on the right stick, after already zooming in with LT

Whaled on the 70 Ultimates, used the excess of Global to buy this thing even tho everyone said suzuya better. (I refuse to stoop to the Meinz/Suzuya/bayard level of he spam) I am 10-0 in it lol

@@DerkaGames 17-6 now. Idk what it was like before the buff but from your video and my experience it seems like the main difference is the AP. Ships feel the need to angle to u because I can dev strike cruisers and really chunk bbs. Reduces the number of guns they have on u and then u can burn baby burn
I see black a soldable ship, sonce its kinda meh, and just a fletcher basically, but azuma, being bad, at least was a unique or kind of different ship, i dont have her anyways lol,

@@DerkaGames played one game when she came out and got dev struck and never played her again until recently
She still needs a tweak in citadel, even though she has a specification of Yamato based on her hull design. And her bow is just rip if you fight a Battleship with 406mm guns or higher.

It's really prevalent on this map, since 6 ships spawn more on this side of the huge island, that's just the way everyone goes

Im sorry, but Azuma is only good if its matchmaking is good. Azuma in a 16 in bb lobby isn't going to do much, and thats pretty often in T7 games. Its an awesome ship in theory, but too reliant on enemy types in practice.
That could be said about almost every ship in the game lol
@@DerkaGames its just that most other cruisers can dodge bigger shells while azuma has the disadvantage of her size and agility
