Yo, in this case, this is exactly who most people saw Kobe as. I will say though, I think a lot of people forget how rough those last few years were with the Lakers. He was very selfish. He wanted to team to be good at the same time eat up half of the salary cap. I mean he earned the right, but sometimes there’s something to be said, for being a good teammate/human.

While I’m no Kobe Stan I can say I worked at a Powdercoating place for 3 years with only 5-6 employees and there was definitely a period where I didn’t talk to a few people for a year or so and worked right next to them. Literally wouldn’t say a word to them. I didn’t like them and they were asskissing yes men. It’s not as rare as everyone makes it out to be.

If you're an actual Laker fan and were alive during that time, you and everybody else knew that Smush Parker was a straight up, cocky, immature, and entitled player. In the 05-06 & 06-07 seasons in LA, Smush Parker started 164 games, thats every single game for 2 years straight. In 05-06 Parker started every game and averaged 11.5 pts, 3.7 asst and 1.7 steals. The following season Parker played all 82 games and started in 80 of them. That season he also averaged 11 and 3. This dude played pro ball till like 2018 thats 16 years of professional baseball, not sure what more he could do to earn every1s respect. Keep in mind the 2 seasons Smush played with Kobe he was already 4-5 years in and played with the 2005 Pistons who lost in the Finals to San Antonio.

If you're an actual Laker fan and were alive during that time, you and everybody else knew that Smush Parker was a straight up, cocky, immature, and entitled player. He had an *attitude* problem, his *work ethic* was trash, and he *never respected* the Lakers organization.
