I firmly believe that Maradona ensured that football would grow for years to come and even though hard to know the extent or measure the quantity it is not difficult to understand that he reunified this great game by many children aiming to imitate him. He showed all that is good in the game. We as football enthusiasts must separate the player and the person (outside the field). We all have troubles and reasons for our actions in our own lives but nothing can take away the passion and brilliance he had on the field which any of us even today would pay any money to see once more.

I cried like a little boy when he passed, I was born in the 90's when I was 11 years old my brother showed us a videotape of Maradona matches and skills, I would've never picked up a Football if it wasn't for that man. Later I saw other players, but Maradona has and had an impression on me that no other Athlete has, later I learned who he really was and how he influenced the entire Game around the World.
