Great video for such a small channel and a subscriber earned! I am thinking of building this near exact build soon! what were the temps with the AXP120-X67?
No dust filters= dirt magnet, sure looks good.
I'm planning on downsizing from an NR200 to this, it looks so damn fun to build.
Hello im planning to use the same mobo for my build with 2 m.2s. im concerned with the thermals for the rear m.w is it possible to fit a heatsink with that clearance?
how are the temps with this cooler? wanted to use it for a ryzen 7 5800x
How loud is it when running at full speed? Does it seem normal or does it sound like a jet is Going to take off? :) thank you!
how was the performance of windforce 4070ti?
Your feedback on the sound when running?
Awsome build , and very nice movie: well shot, well explained, a pleasure to watch.
Kindly consider to do a follow-up video to show us the performance.
Especially the CPU within the available cooling, curious if it is stable during gaming, do we need Eco mode or undervolting to keep it in check? Looking forward to updates from you :)
Did you have to update the software 990 Samsung "smart" bomb!?
Just built with this exact case. Definitely limited in terms of part acquisition, but I had zero issues building in this. Not sure what the complaint are... Guy at the store even joked I'd punch my fingers a ton on it. Zero issues
hi just wanted to know if you know if the Asus prorate 4070ti can be used for gaming
of course
how the temp? mine with 7700x always hit 95c
You have +67mm CPU cooler clearance with the Gigabyte 4070 Ti and could have used a Noctua NH-L12 Ghost S1 Edition which is an upgrade from the Thermalright.
The NH-L12 is not compatible with this motherboard due to the size of the IO shroud (at least according to Noctua's website). That said, I have recently upgraded to the AXP120-X67.
@@mof1podcast The NH-L12S isn't the NH-L12 Ghost Edition is different and according to Noctua's sight is compatible.
@@richardfarmer6570ah, TIL. So many variants. Hopefully the AXP120-X67 will perform comparably so I don’t have to swap for a 3rd time 😀.
also how is the temperature specs does it get too hot in the case
Hot as hell lol
Hi, I currently own that case with the same CPU and a 7900XTX (2.5 slots) it supports a Thermalright AXP90-X53 or a bigger option Thermalright AXP120-X67 (if you have short memory you can place it looking to the memory if not then to the IO part of the motherboard). The AXP90 works pretty well and it prodives a better TDP of 150W compared to what youre using and the bigger brother has a TDP of 200W. Im currently running the bigger one that provides more dissipation and less noise.
Yes! I swapped this cooler for the AXP120-X67 a few days after I posted this video. Definitely a much better choice 👍
Out of curiosity, which version of the 7900 xtx are you using that allows for you to also fit the AXP120-x67? I was previously looking at getting the ID Cooling IS-55 but I know the 120-x67 performs a little better
@@SilentSerpant18 I'm using the AMD version of the 7900xtx it's 2.5 slots and works and fits well
@@mof1podcast Did you have any trouble mounting it to that mobo with the ram shown on here? Which orientation did you mount it?
@@lucasimms544 It's overhanging the ram since the I/O shroud was too tall. This ram is 33mm tall and the cooler has 40mm of clearance. Plenty of room.
Ive done a few builds, but the new Fractal cases like the FROST and Terra. Are both the most difficult to work with.
It's like they purposely designed them to have the most minimal amount of clearance.
i thought terra was fine, i just had to make sure the cpu cooler was just the right size
This is like the lian li q58 itx case
nice
why you didn't maximize your cpu cooler. you can get axp120-x67 for better temp
Curious about this as well! Working on a similar build. Trying to figure out the fans
Installing it later this week. Max cooler height depends on GPU width and I initially thought I wasn't going to have the room. After installing I realize I do have the space.
@@mof1podcast yeap! you have a space with that gpu 4070ti windforce. you can put axp120-x67 with that gpu
@@blindman8093 that cpu cooler is 67mm tall?
@@denisnatera3633 yeap bro. it will fit perfectly without any turbulence
Show performance and temperatures next time
ahh, yes. the toaster build. classic
Dude doesn't answer any questions....
