This video is about interstellar space dust and the dust extinction it causes on light travelling through space to us, particularly at shorter wavelengths such as those visible to our eyes and the Hubble Space Telescope. I discuss the advantage of observing in the infrared using the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) and how this solves this dust extinction problem.
