- The stock rubber bushings, while great for comfort, flex and allow the rear suspension to move in ways that are not favorable for keeping good suspension geometry and tire contact. This leads to an unstable feeling in the suspension as the components flex and move around in a non-linear manner. Also, many of the factory bushings that the E36 came equipped with have seen the end of their life with the now-aging E36 chassis and often are in desperate need of a replacement for optimum performance.
When replacing these bushings, it's best practice to replace your other suspension bushings while you're already removing the subframe.
We offer a complete polyurethane bushing kit in a variety of hardness levels for your E36 as well as other BMW chassis including E30's and E46's.
Save yourself alot of time by getting the tools to do this job with ease! No need to burn the bushings out in most cases, we use this kit for almost every bushing removal/installation: amzn.to/3ooRNdv

1) How would you say the noise, vibration and harmonics are now with 80A Poly bushings installed?
2) Is the gains in handling worth the increase in Noise, vibration and Harmonics when going up from 80 to 95A? Especially if it's for an daily E36 with an 1Jz non turbo swap?
1) There is an overall difference in NVH (Noise/Vibration/Harshness) when comparing 80a to rubber bushings. However, NVH is fairly subjective, but for most going to 80a poly is noticeable in a "good" way as most people would say that you can feel the car a bit more overall.
2) Now when it comes to choosing 80a vs 95a, given that you are street driving the car, I would say that going to 95a may not be "worth" the added stiffness simply due to public road conditions being so variable i.e. train tracks, driveways, and potholes.
@@garagistic Appreciate the feedback and the information... I'm looking into your catalogue so I can change out the major bushings and bearings
@@brianantoine3103 did you end up getting the 80a bushings ? and if so how do you like them ?
Do you not use silicone grease during install?
Silicone grease is optional during install 👍
wish i could return my 1st gen set of these 😢
Did you have any issues with your set?
A bit of deformation caused by heat here in cencal. They didn’t come with races then/lip for the top welds, and the front carrier bushing doesn’t have a lip so I get bit of clunking here and there.
@@ramozeab email us. They have a lifetime warranty. We can send you another set. Just give us a call or email.
E30,e36, or e46? Which is the best chassis for grip?
E36
@@Samtyo_Bazza y forgot about z3 subf swap
Easy as legos, the worst part is putting this back in the car and bolting everything back together!
It can be a pain at times but definitely worth the work!
