One thing to remember about Chinese gear -- most of those companies have had very little exposure to the US market, and usually get their sizing wrong, until they get serious sales exposure and feedback.
Emerson blue label g3s is american sized and dam near on point with crye g3s and prices on emerson are 20$ differnce pending camo paterns but crye is were its at so befor i ever bought crye gr3s i tryed emerson style g3s a few years ago liked them then grabbed a few pairs of crye g3s :)
It would be great if they sized them in US sizes when being sold in thenUS
Not exactly like we're sizing it wrong, maybe we Asians have different body types, we are most likely shorter and have shorter legs and arms...I think there's a great chance that it might be it.
Now, this is what I call epic
Airsoft players: *Buys 1000⏠worth of gucci gear*
Trained soldiers: "Wait, that's illegal."
Remember when the Medal of Honor recipient guy said that⊠letâs just say the whole gun community did itâs job including flannel daddy
I came to the comments looking for E8s telling him to get his hands out of his pockets đ
>military uniform is $500
>airsoft uniform is $90
Meanwhile the uniform I got for my army service was like 45âŹ
Great review. I'm glad Crye makes hi-performance gear for the Marines. If it is issued by the Marines it has to be hardcore gear.
Since I'm a 61 YO dude, I'd try a pair of chinese G3 knok-offs in black multi-cam for utility wear at our 40 acre vacation (BOL) property. I have used the old strap-on knee pads or a garden kneeler pad for maintenance jobs at the cabin. The G3KO's with the integral knee pro will be perfect for recreational & maintenance activity.
Those cheap combat uniform are tight because on the stretch parts they are solid same material as the pants.
I always love videos like these. And you bring top quality as always!!
Sure makes larping much more fun haha
He: my hands touch my knee while standing
Me: gets up from the bed, tries to touch knee while standing *realises that they are VERY short*
great video! and i love that "devil dog" tshirt written with "crayons"...lol
Crye Combat > FROGs/FREEs Crye Fields > MCCUUs/ACUs (bonus points if you didnât buy them)

Love your work man
Dude got serious guns. He is pumped. đđ€đ
Thats why he can have a skateboard and tea in the background.
@@Guildforsucks đ đ đ
Well that was actually quite interesting. The chinese knockoff was actually pretty decent. I was wondering if you have had any experience with 5.11 stuff and how it compares to Crye. Love the content you keep pumping out!
5.11 is comfortable. Good materials and cuts. Just not as breathable or stretchy
Iâd love cod to add you as an operator skin
Brother thanks for showing the difference between the good military uniform material.đ
Bro what unit are you in!!!?? Most guys dont even get issued g3 cryes let alone g4s. Most guys just run the regular army combat pants and the massif combat shirt. I need to know what units get issued g4s like damn
I was gonna say, regular issued blouse and pants are $60.00 a piece. In having said uniform you'd know to wear the sleeve cuffs tight, the belt would be tan matching the uniform, and boots would be bloused.
Mans be flexing that pano
It depends. When I was at Bragg we had Pathfinders attached to us and they wore Crye G3s and even rocked Eagle RRVs from time to time. Their main plate carrier was the Shellbacks Banshees but had their IOTVs in the container for backup. Depends really on your CoC if they allow it or not. I even wear the Tru Spec 1/4 zip combat shirts in the field every now and then but when deployed, got to rock the FR combat shirts since we roll out on aircraft all the time.
@@ryanvanloh9833 this may be no help or useful info but I see some British army units use crye g4 combat pants
Army 75th and navy EOD get like 5 boxes of gear
Actually picked up some used tru-spec OCP pants today from a surplus store and they fit and feel so much better than pants Iâve looked at in airsoft stores
I use TruSpec for Airsoftđ€Ł
Saw that Helikon tex offer a combat top that's made with nyco and immediately ordered it based on this video. Unfortunately the ripstop nyco seems to be really stiff and I am experiencing the same thing you mentioned with the inner elbow. Great video though
Awesome stuff especially considering the royal marine change of kit with crye precision, if you have not seen possibly react to the new royal marine uniform on its CZcams channel and a more in depth look on the royal navy website đđ€
Awesome vid bro!đđ
I have that same damn longboard! NICE
Very helpful
informative video! :) Have you ever has problems with leg hairs getting stuck in the mesh material that's on the inside of the pockets with these pants? its something that annoys me a lot with some fabrics
Thank you!
I bought full Crye set and I literally use it now everywhere I go lol. Its just way too comfortable
Awesome videos
Nice thumbnail! Good video.
Nice video even if its a bit long. Maybe sometime u could make a video about ur full realsteel loadout and airsoft loadout with all ur gear
I dont have a set airsoft loadout just yet since I'm here in Korea where everything is hard to do haha
Even though it's much diffrent to your normal content I watched the hole video so il say it again great content đŹđ§đșđž
Haha cheers brother
No worries bro đ
My massif uniform is doing me fine. Crye is nice and all but i dont feel like spending that much when i can just get massif. Lol
for airsoft i am just using hiking stuff like mountain warehouse
I actually bought a chinese knock off for work. Work as an armed security and they aren't too strict on uniform as long as its navy blue. The ones they give us are really cheap so even the chinese knock off seem to be an upgrade lol. I'll test it out long-term to see how it holds up.
The only main thing that's annoying is the knee pads canting towards the inside. Worst case scenario, i'll just use them without the knee pads.
did the price seriously increase to 500 bucks for the pants and 300 for the shirt? Nah man, there is still a border to too much.
Love my crye g4's
Hello there... nice video.
How do i find your belt?! đ
Can you use cryes in regular combat arm units?
Honestly Iâd find a middle ground âgood enoughâ type brand. The armies âACUâ isnât super expensive or Gucci but it gets the job done to a satisfactory degree.
How similar is this to actual multicam?
I use USMC issued gear that I got from a guy who was in Operation Desert Storm, and a set my dad brought back from his USAR deployment in Germany
Six color dessert was used in desert shield and storm
@@mtfhauliox-17redwildfire1-5 and then they realized it was useless and transitioned to the three color desert camouflage
You need to try some snigel design gear ;)
Cultured i see
What kind of boots?
May I ask what brand specifically the airsoft uniform was? I'm looking into Idogear, near a quarter of the price of Crye but if it's even half as good, that's good enough for me.
I have one, they're decent, don't buy the old models though, they're pretty shit but not to an extent, they fixed a lot of stuff on the newer versions, product numbers above 3200.
I just picked up a full military grade new ( i meam barely used ) entire uniform for 30$. Its all about where you look
So did you serve in the marines then join the army?
Hi. Good video. I live in Europe. You can now buy crye products here (Hungary) The top quality here is UF Pro. You can buy Clawgear, Helikon-Tex, 5.11
can you please tell me about your belt? I can't find it anywhere
Are we allowed to use any G3/G4 top and pants? What's the AR on this?
Charging that much for clothes is fuckin criminal. I know there good quality but thats fucking outrageous. I did 2 tours in Iraq and went through combat and i sure as shit didn't have or need $200 pants and $300 shirts. The normal clothing in got on post ir from the px worked just fine.
Okay, where can I get that shirt?!
Iâm looking for a âtactical/combatâ uniform and I think Iâll buy once crye once. And Iâm considering that with the g4 uniform but the only thing is there is like 4-5 different options and I donât really know what the difference really is and hoping maybe you can explain that to me. Btw I
Just a civilian larper
I still airsoft in cryes Chinese kit will tear apart in 1 Airsoft game. Worth every penny
Peep the Gas Mask đđ
I bought a used military uniform for 20$
whats funny is that i got perfect quility and real military OCP pants and blazer, with danner boots lol, for like $40 at savers but theres close to 0 percent of anyone getting that good of a find so im very lucky for that, and im happy i didint have to spend $500
where di du get the shirt bro your wearing
I have these pants and I love them
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the helikon combat uniforms
I tried the Helikon SFU Next pants. They're comfortable fitting, the actual polycotton fabric was a little stiff like cotton canvas but wore in after a few washes. Pretty high-speed pants if you ask me, all the hook-and-loop pockets on it, 9 in total including 2 magazine pockets.
Checkout clawgear mate non airsoft copy and swiss.
Interesting man! I don't have any legit Crye or DryFire yet but I've got Platatac and Arktis and some really high end airsoft stuff, and I have to stay, the higher end airsoft stuff like Emerson and TMC is really quite good and a lot better than that black set you got. They cost about double what you paid for the blacks but they're still cheaper than the really high end stuff. I don't regret the higher end airsoft stuff one bit, my only concern is the IR reflection concern in the dyes.
Test a semapo uniform
We get he point a four peach is not needed
I'm in the market for a pair of G4s. Do you think it's worth it to get the Flame Retardant versions ?
I want but this uniform t shirt how ?
Well what do you expect from a $90 buck company from amazon. If i were you, i wouldve gone with the Sinairsoft BDU's, quality and lots of sizes. $93 bucks for a top and bottom.
zuoxiangru is literally "make similar" in Chinese
Why are the real ones so expensive the knock off ones dont even come in a 40x32 at all lmao idk how to buy them lol.
How much is a US Marine permitted to swap out regulation kit (that doesn't look too different) for personally preferred kit on deployment? Is it a don't do it when the brass is around situation or are they fairly strict?
With no higher ups around, you can get away with a lot, but on deployment, you can push boots and uniform if they meet certain requirements. But you'll be stuck with MARPAT stuff unless you're in specific units
@@CombatArmsChannel I assume that underwear is more free as long as you feel comfortable in it and don't get seen as a weirdo when changing clothes.
This video could have been reduced to 10-15 minutes at least. I still enjoyed the video, but with a bit of editing skills it would have taken this specific video to a different level. Anyway, great channel, good-luck with all your future videos.đšđ±đșđžđȘ
Yeah it was also sort of a review for the two if anyone was interested in the specifics
@@CombatArmsChannel I'm with you on this one bro
just got me authentic ocp scorpion trousers for 80 bucks ebay
đ
have you had any experience with clawgear stuff?
it is bad, china made so figure it out...
Clawgear = Invadergear. They make airsoft gear, and they make it in China. If you do not believe me, compare info of these 2 companies (bank number, address etc)
@@gunner105vs so whats the difference between the products they sell on the different websites
@@HighReady_Gaming some my friends were not happy with Invader gear, it ripped after 3 washes (they used them like police uniform) then we started searching and found that out. Never again.
If you want proper MIL-SPEC uniforms from EU, check brands like Spar-Tac or UF PRO. They make legit tactical clothing (used by actual military and LE units, and it is 100% Made in EU.
@@gunner105vs you sure? Iâm pretty sure thereâs reference photos of Jagdkommando wearing some clawgear stuff, Iâm pretty sure theyâre made in Austria or Germany (they also make a lot of aug accessories).
Sir I'm 5'6 height and 34 waistline what size fit to me from Philippines thank you?
Most guys go to a tailor
I do wonder what stuff you really could go cheaper for military use. Obviously i wouldn't trust a plate carrier from wish, don't even think it could actually carry a plate. So hmmm.... gloves? Belts?
I'll do some cheap gloves if the cut is good. They get wrecked quick regardless
@@CombatArmsChannel I suppose so. Can't really get too attached to your gloves sadly
Some of those carriers can be used for weighted training in CrossFit or calisthenics so they can definitely take a load.
The Chinese shirts are to short no matter what size u get
I have a suggestion, but it will cost you a small fortune to acquire the kit! Compare Cri, Drifire, Arc'teryx LEAF, Claw Gear & Direct Action vs the paintball/Airsoft kit. Just bought a pile of military gear and it costs a small fortune, but I won't have my ass hanging out in November in nice cold Eastern Europe. The joys of being a 'PMC'.
I believe garand thumb did a video that includes some of the items you mentioned.
crye, drifire and LEAF are compared in the vid mil spec mentioned
Noice
what did you expect? you literally took the worst and the best buddy! try to buy some emerson gear or tmc pants or combat shirt's and youll see
You should try arma 3
Keep up the good work
Nice! Would you ever wear black gear or is that something only SF would have?
Itâs only special forces units that wear black as they have much more freedom in what they wear where as the regular military wear a uniform
@@A6GYT SEALs have the black diver suits...
assumption are u in the airforce are navy
This is why I buy Russian gear, the real stuff for repro prices, also helps when it is just on the other side of the border! Great video BTW!
