Well known by Cult fans as well as Doors members that Ian was massively influenced by 60s music and The Doors in particular. This was a no brainer, I was not shocked, and this feels so natural. Great job.
I saw this version a the band twice, and I would have loved it to continue. The original Doors were one of my favorite bands of the 60s, but I never got a chance to see Morrison. It was a dream come true to hear The Doors music played LIVE!
Let's Go Back Before 1970 & Say Jim Morrison Had A Baby Boy & Named Him "Ian" You Now Have The Closest Vocalist, Look, & Body Manerism Performing Today!!! HANDS FUCKING DOWN...
Morrison
@@pedrohauthleitepedro4562I read that John Densmore really threw a hissy fit when they went on without him. He sued the remaining members of The Doors. And lost. As a Doors fan, this was a great performance with Ian Asbury and Ty Dennis.
the only person I've ever heard who sounds more like Jim is Jimmy Fallon. I would have loved to have seen Jimmy Fallon and the Doors, but alas, Ray is gone too and it wouldn't be the same
He did an admirable job here, but Ian Astbury is certainly not a clone of anyone. His own band has a distinctive catalog that sound like no other band.
This is brilliant. So glad these guys did this for the record. Ian couldn't be more perfect for this. Everybody nailed it.
Ian has always thought he was the incarnate of Jimbo.
Ian Astbury is fabulous! ❤👏
Ian Astbury nailed the performance! The antics that Jim Morrison did were classic in old video's. He was an absolute madman! Ian Asbury echos this.

Ian est fan des Doors et ça s'entend
Je les ai vu à Paris et ils étaient au top

Robby & Ray killing it absolutely live one more time in the 21st century is epic
Saw them in 2005 in DC. Ian did an A-mazing job.
I'll have to admit ian did a bang up job on this one this was good

Ian is the only lead singer that can do The late great Jim Morrison
If you thinks this sucks... check your pulse. you may be dead.
Ian was the only choice to cover the late great Jim Morrison
Ian Astbury is Unique
Énorme
I'm wondering how Ray and Rob enjoyed this or what?
I hope Ian was paid heavily.
I saw this show
First minute I saw , he's Not JIM MORRISON...sorry...poor me...
the only person I've ever heard who sounds more like Jim is Jimmy Fallon. I would have loved to have seen Jimmy Fallon and the Doors, but alas, Ray is gone too and it wouldn't be the same
Jimmy fallen is a turd
As good as Ian is, he's a Morrison clone, props to Robbie on guitar. Very underrated.

Une honte pour Morrison...
Well done guys, RIP Ray
